Perfect timing for a Montana Garage video! I was looking into Big Sky Race Week this morning and got me to thinking about Montana Garage. I'm here for the "How-To" portion and the entertainment is icing on the cake!! Great stuff Brad and keep 'em coming!!
Thanks a ton Dave. Registration for Big Sky Race Week is just around the corner. Hopefully you'll pull the trigger and I'll see you there. I'm only going if I have more power though, so I guess that means more power is coming. I appreciate you watching and sharing the kind words.
@@MontanaGarage right around the corner is right and I better figure out what I'm doing. I would bring the roadster and enter the Hot Rod class but it would be more about driving my roadster in Montana with like minded people with some racing mixed in with a goal of just finishing. Your car is so darn good and fwiw I really like the orange idea you snuck in there. Always good stuff happening at Montana Garage!
Thanks Steve. Yep, did some insulation and sheetrock last fall. I still need to insulate the ceiling though, so it's still a battle to keep it warm in there. Definitely better though...
Nice work on the door jams. The weather-stripping should cut down on wind noise for sure. The rattles are likely going to be silenced with the window fuzzies. Look forward to the next one. Trust you and the family had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks Brian. Window fuzzies and weatherstripping did help for sure. Hopefully I'll have a video up of that installation soon. Happy New Year to you and yours as well!
Good to see you back Brad, I think the jams turned out really good, always easier when the doors are off but looks good buddy! The grey colour may not match the outside but at least they’re protected! Happy New Year to you and your family Brad! 🎉
I personally like the door mounted mirrors.the hood wetherstrip your looking for should be a flat piece of rubber held by 5 or 6 screws.the gaps in the panels should settle down once the weather strips gettled settled in after a couple weeks
I didn’t realize the passenger door glass was broke. Did that happen recently? I like the mirror on the door, not practical looks cool. Glad you’re still putting content out there. Hope to see more soon and hope you’re healthy. Happy New Year!
Passenger door glass has been broke for years. A kid threw a rock at it which was a bummer. It has all new glass now, and hopefully I'll have some content showing some of the install. I added the "convex" passenger mirror and modified the arm a bit, so now I can actually see behind me. Happy New Year to you, and thanks for always watching Cory!
Looks good for primer, but if it really bothers you after some time get a rattle can of silver and see if that matches you raw steel look a little better.
You have a Spray Gun and I have Airbrushes, they both work just fine It's all good however you do it New window felt will help them from rattling (I'm still chopping up wood every chance I can) thx Brad
Thanks Blake. I've installed the new glass and felts, and yes it did help with the noise. Hopefully I'll have some content up on that soon. Good luck with the wood....
I hate to be picky but when you put the camera above the car it showed rust in the drip rail. One more thing to clean and seal. The car has come a long way and I think it will be around a long time. It looks good.
I know i kinda implied I may paint it in the video, but I've pretty much decided it will stay bare metal. So far the Sharkhide is holding up great, so seems like less work to me. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the update and a return to you tube. Tricky to do with doors in place for sure.
Thanks man. Yeah, it's a bit tight getting the paint in there in a few spots. I am happy with the outcome though. Thanks for watching!

Looks good I also see you got a lot of your walls done nice to have a warm work area

Thanks for sharing the video.
I appreciate you always watching and commenting Snowbilly!
Looks good man. It's protected and that's what matters.
Thanks a ton Chris!
Brad, That Car has come a long ways... Turned out cool.
Thanks Spicedude! I appreciate that buddy.
Good to see you back Brad, I think the jams turned out really good, always easier when the doors are off but looks good buddy! The grey colour may not match the outside but at least they’re protected! Happy New Year to you and your family Brad! 🎉
Thanks Ray! They are protected, and the grey has grown on me. I kinda like it now. I appreciate you watching.
Dam that came out nice excellent work Brad
Thanks a ton Brad!

Thanks man. Yeah, it had the flat piece of rubber on there. I'll have to look for a new one, as even if I find the old one I'm sure it's trash.
That rubber strip under the hood does not screw on. It takes clips. It goes on top of cowl not the rear of hood.
Very nice. Only missing one thing in the video, guitar lady!
Yeah unfortunately she was only here for the thumbnail shoot. Haha. Thanks for watching even without the guitar lady.
Car is looking good
Thanks a ton man. I appreciate the comment.
@@MontanaGarageyes sir your welcome
looks good
Thank you Edward!

Merry Christmas 😂
Thanks Brad. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!

Maybe black would of been better looks Okay ... Door mirrors are better HA!
Thanks for watching and for the input. The grey has grown on me and I'm glad I did it that way, but black might have worked as well.
I vote for a mirror on the door. Not a fan of where it is now
Thanks for watching and for the input man!
I think it looks good
Does Moose know you're out there working without Him ?
Shhh, don't let him know or I'll be in big trouble.
I hate to be picky but when you put the camera above the car it showed rust in the drip rail. One more thing to clean and seal. The car has come a long way and I think it will be around a long time. It looks good.
Thanks man. I tried to get that cleaned up, but it could probably use a bit more attention. I'll add it to the list.
I feel like your creating more work for yourself in the future by not just painting the car now or at least putting it in epoxy.
I know i kinda implied I may paint it in the video, but I've pretty much decided it will stay bare metal. So far the Sharkhide is holding up great, so seems like less work to me. Thanks for watching!
What’s the big deal you’re not driving on the doors open anyways, at least jams are protected now.
No big deal, but I don't want them to look like garbage either. It has grown on me, and I actually like the grey now. Thanks for watching!
Don’t like your mirrors. I like the traditional lower mirrors!!
Thanks for the input. I wasn't too sure about them at first but they've grown on me and I like them now. I appreciate you watching!
