The remake acknowledges crisis core and before crisis events, and that's what makes it special to me. As someone that grew playing the compilation before the main game, i am more attached to crisis core than the original, and maybe that's why i don't mind the weird changes that much. It seems to hit the same beats of the main game, but adding a twist that, i'll admit, only time will tell if it was a good or bad thing.
I can *assure* you that i love *crisis core* more then the *original* and i have started with the *original* so that says *a lot* . *Don't beat yourself up* it is an amazing game after all 😊😊😊

Over four years had passed, so I highly doubt the troops he was talking to in this were the same ones who ended up trying to hunt him and Cloud down years later when they escaped from that lab. Hell, when Cloud later ran into that Shinra guard who had trained alongside him, the guard didn’t attack Cloud at all (he was really happy to see him still alive in fact). Even Kunsel (a SOLDIER 2nd Class) that had known Zack and Cloud before they “disappeared” was hoping that they were still alive somehow.
If you read the mails during those games since my psp is still active. Kunsel says “Hey Zack are you ok? The whole shinra army is hunting for you and a grunt guy named Cloud. I’m really worried about you brother, please stay safe I still trust you the whole system is messed up I heard about the Nibelheim incident and I know it was Sephiroth who started everything and he framed you and cloud. Stay alive brother please”
One more thing, if you know the female turks in crisis core named Cissnei. She chose to save Zack and Cloud because the operation was run by the higher authority of Shinra, not Tseng. The turks was controlled, they had no choice but to follow the orders but they know that Zack was framed up from the start. If you know the part when Cissnei called Tseng at the beach to capture Zack and Cloud, she called Tseng and told him “Tseng, I’ve lost the target.” Cissnei had feelings with Zack but during the “Attack of Genesis Copies” if you know Rude and Reno and Cissnei, they’re the big three. But when I finished the game, I wonder what happened to her? I hope she didnt die.

I always felt that Crisis Core was really the story of Soldier. How it's heroes fell, some lost their sanity, some lost their honor, some lost their very identities, and some...held onto them. What's encountered in VII is nothing but a gutted shell of the original.

That is because Cloud is never a Soldier to begin with, he was not in the 3rd class scene there. You can see in the scene before that (Zack walking pass the troopers) that Cloud is still in the crowd.
He was just passing by to tell Cloud "You want to be in Soldier? Hang in there" before he proceed to his subordinates (Which is 3rd Class Soldiers) to get ready for their mission.

Playing the remake on hard, I personally consider Buster Sword to be the best one. It's properly balanced in both damage and magic and you need both to survive.

I always felt that Crisis Core was really the story of Soldier. How it's heroes fell, some lost their sanity, some lost their honor, some lost their very identities, and some...held onto them. What's encountered in VII is nothing but a gutted shell of the original.

More or less they essentially threw mooks at him till he got tired and died even with his beastly stamina. Then wiped out any info about project Gillian and Genova only for Sephiroth to pull it all back out. I never really understood Crisis Core because all it did was make me wish I had Zack instead of some mook that happened to be Zack's friend, who somehow became an edgelord by thinking he was Zack even though neither his original personality nor Zack's can be called anything approaching edgy.
@@axis1247 Cloud is more than just a nobody. The trauma he went through and the borderline personality+guilt he had made him an interesting character. In advent children he was clearly going through depression.

WHAT HAPPENED TO HONOR ?! One of the best parts of this game I was teary eyed by the end of this fight ..
That scene of zack talking to the other 3rd class recruits always confused me because cloud was In that scene but the next scene cloud is still a Shinra troop
That is because Cloud is never a Soldier to begin with, he was not in the 3rd class scene there. You can see in the scene before that (Zack walking pass the troopers) that Cloud is still in the crowd.
He was just passing by to tell Cloud "You want to be in Soldier? Hang in there" before he proceed to his subordinates (Which is 3rd Class Soldiers) to get ready for their mission.
The only reason he has SOLDIER clothes in the ending is because Zack needed to change his original clothes that was soaked in mako.
This game was soooo underrated, shame it never got a PS3/PS4 remaster

that was a memory that actually happened. it was Clouds dream to eventually be strong enough to protect people after what happend on mt.nibel. then he came across sephiroth and the tales about him , so he decided to become a soldier
i can imagine ff7 remake to be kept on until 3rd episode then dish out also Crisis Core, Dirge Of Cerberus as remakes and even do the Advent Children film playable. Considering how much they take to do every chapter...it's content for the next 20 years to come lol

Playing the remake on hard, I personally consider Buster Sword to be the best one. It's properly balanced in both damage and magic and you need both to survive.

Buster sword has low materia slots.
Iron sword or hard-edge are probably the best depending on what you want
At hard level 50 every sword hard 6 materia slots
