I love my C2 55. I have it wall mounted and my LG Sound bar fits right under my tv. My tv room has no windows so I can control the lighting as I like. It’s amazing watching Sports and movies. I play on Series X and it also looks amazing.
can you tell me what size screws fit in the back of the TV to fit the vesa mount
I used my old wall mount from my previous LG. I had Best Buy take down the old one installed the new TV. Works perfectly.

And if the stand isn't high enough then put something under the stand. The soundbar will hide it anyway. Reviewers wouldn't even suggest that workaround though.

@@realmadridstyle Piece of 2x4 wood or similar would do the trick. Doesn't need to be expensive. Perhaps an older broken soundbar. ;-)

I prefer the look of the C1 over the C2. I love the C1 stand and the heft of it.
Great video as always I just managed to order the 55” Oled C2 from Richer Sounds for an incredible price of only £979 with my VIP membership account so I’m getting it free delivery with in 3-5 days, if I would have bought it yesterday it would have cost me £1079, but because is Black Friday today I got it for £979 with 6 years guarantee what a brilliant deal. I’m replacing it from an LG led nano cell tv with side lit led 55” so it will be a fantastic upgrade anyway thank you and peace ✌️
I'd buy it from John Lewis if I were you. I bought the additional "cover plus" 5 year warranty for £150. This covers burn in. Richer sounds don't cover this nor does the currys warranty or the standard John Lewis cover. Peace of mind for such an expensive purchase. I'm waiting for delivery. With £100 off code it was £1150 ish
Curious how much better the precalibration scores were compared to the C1 precalibration which was pretty off. I'd rather spend the extra $600++ on the newer model rather than pay for a pro calibration.

Thanks for the information. Would have been good to have seen the TV from the front with the sound bars. I have a Sonos Arc and think I will need to use a VESA stand in order to raise it to the right height.

The atmos should also work with your soundbar on webos apps like disney plus through earc. It works with my lg bx oled tv. And samsung Q70R soundbar
Hi, always liked your videos, your voice is very professional. Tv wise I rent, so I can mostly swap each year. Stuck with Panasonic OLEDs then jumped to LG. Over the time I’ve rented lgcx, lgc1 and now have c2. Did you ever make a video on dialled in picture settings for lgc2 at all, I know you mentioned making one. Keep up the good work 😊
Just got my 65 C2 and a calibration video would be great ly appreciate it
First. I am not really all that knocked out by the design. The screen from the side seems thicker then the C1 and the pedestal stand seems like it was based off what Samsung's tv's use. I liked the original stands that LG used on their OLED's because that along with the very slim screens set them apart from everyone else. As far as brightness is concerned the C2 is brighter then the C1 due to the Evo Panel and the upscaling is also a little better due to the new Alpha 9/5 processor. Is it enough to want me to replace my C1 with the C2? No. But I look forward to your comparison between the C2 and C1 and your honest opinion. Great unboxing video.
If I owned a C1 there’s no way I’d be upgrading, it’s like those who go from an iPhone 12 to iPhone 13 in 12 months….just why? Lol, I have however ordered a 65inch C2 which will be my first Oled ever and coming from a nano cell which is backlit I can’t wait for a self lit tv,

I can attest that my 77 inch C2 was extremely light. I was surprised how easy it was to mount when being compared to my 65 inch C9
What do you think about the picture quality when you watch 1080p content or play with games at 1080p? How much does the upscaling algorithm help?
@@user-me7iw6ft8z I don’t game so I can’t attest to any improvement on that end. As far as 1080p content goes it looks just as sharp as my 65 inch c9 but with better highlight detail.

In another review of the 77" model they said there was a noticeable increase in brightness but not worth upgrading to the C2 unless your getting another size
the look of the back of the tv looks good but there is no more the "woah" effect of the thinness... it's basically a tv just like all the others on the market now

What's the quality like of the inbuilt 48" and 55" model speakers? I was quite impressed with the C1's inbuilt speakers out of the box, curious to know how these shape up given the changed box dimensions and how the speakers fire.
Central stand is so much better than having those stupid legs either side of the set. Design is very nice and much improved. Well done LG hope other manufacturers follow this design.

thanks for the video ! I didn't see and understood how the box was removed?! there was no bottom at the bottom ? or you cut it off. I really need a video about competent settings. Red seems oversaturated to me. the settings for 24p movies are also very interesting (most movies are just like that) I'm very afraid of the soap opera effect.
Hi mate, when you do the side by side review would you please do a input lag test? I would like to see how fast the response time is when you play video games in particular online games with lots of on screen explosions/shooting etc.
Thinking of getting this with the Sonos Beam 2 as shown in the video but the issue is the cables as there’s no gap underneath the TV due to the sloping stand. Not keen on that design.

Thanks for making this video. Did yours come with a swivel base/stand? LGs quick set-up guide shows it having a base that can swivel twenty degrees left or right, but there's no mention of it on their site or anywhere else I can find.
The materials seem cheaper than C1, I notice blemishes and scratches on the back stand.
I am just about to return a new C1 due to pink tint. Having watched this video though the C2 looks similar, this can be seen at 5:00 on the left side of the yellow screen and also too right.
Maybe I should stick with my £1350 65” C1?

Between this C2 and the Sony QD-OLED: Which TV is best at controlling/minimizing Image retention (ie. screen burn in)??? Especially for gaming on a PS5 console?
I have LG C9 and use HDR game mode for (Ps5, Xbox Series) playing 120hz 4k games and use Cinema HDR/Dolby Vision mode to watch (Netflix, Plex, AppleTV) using Apple TV 4K .

I don't like the stand at all, looks far less premium and more like the B series. I preferred the longer stand as it looked unique and did a great job of hiding any cables coming down from the TV at the back

I continue to find it absolutely crazy (and stupid) that LG don't actually design their stands in such a way that it'll be compatible easily with their own sound bars.
I've got a LG CX 55" and an LG SN7Y soundbar and I had to bolt a shelf onto the top of my TV unit so that the soundbar (which has upfiring speakers and so can't sit inside a cabinet, really) would be able to sit in front of the tv without obscuring any of the screen.
They really need to join up the design departments a bit on this.

Please lmk if it’s worth the upgrade I got the LGC1 but now I’m curious if I should return it for the C2 I have the 65 inch that I can return to bestbuy within 60 days so is it really worth the extra 700$ or so is the brightness really a huge difference or am I better off keeping my C1as it’s only 1699.99 rn vs 2299.99 for the C2 cuz later this year or next year I want to upgrade to a 77 in whether it be the C2/G2 or C3 I’m not sure yet but lmk if it’s worth shelling out the extra 700$ or so if it is I’ll be returning it before my 60 days is up great video as always

Good review but definitely don't agree with the design being improved I much prefer the build of my C1 and for sure as a TV on a stand I don't like all the inputs being on the side! Honestly wouldn't swap my C1 and it's more than bright enough in my living room... :)

last year's c1 stand looks better than this in my opinion///it's a lot wider///and what's the point of an evo panel when the c7 and c8 of years ago could hit over 900 nits back then but all of a sudden you need an evo panel to get that nit

Did you get the stand inside the box? I purchased the Lg C2 55” oled tv here in India. The lg installer said it is not in the box and will take more than a month to come.

Stand should be inside the box. Mine (Indonesia) was in the box. It’s absurd for LG not to include such basic thing
