was gonna buy a taco, then i heard 2024 hybrid option damn near threw up, i test drove a 2022 frontier with only 19k kilometers on it, and fell in love, felt like i was driving a truck
So refreshing to see a build other than a tacoma....it takes companies like CB I to help support and push the midsized truck segment. Having offering for all makes amd models. Awesome work CBI!

I agree i ordered in a 23 pro 4x this week can’t wait to mod. I tried buying a Tacoma but i was really turned off by toyaota as a first time buyer in the community their sales are terrible and lie and are the worst crooked sales ive ever dealt with and ive had 7 brand new cars in the last 10 years. They think your so sold on their truck that they can sell you snake oil, until they realize you actually know what you want they change their tune and act cult like. It’s refreshing to see a new segment of comepetion. And we need more aftermarket for the Nissan!!! Thank you.

I'm a Toyota fan and the Frontier has me turning my head every time I see one. It's a great looking rig stocked and even better built up!
Nissan did a good job with this design!
I’m with you, but remember it’s a direct injection engine and it’s going to have a carbon build up by 30k miles. The Taco has a 4DS system which is much better.
I owned a 2021 and 2024 and never had any issues on either. The 2021 had 40k miles but I always performed all maintenance and I am a believer in lucas upper cylinder lubricant.
I had a Nissan frontier as a rental when I went out to Colorado…we were ripping that thing through farms and dirt roads. That truck was extremely fun and tough

@@T_O_Negativeyes my 2010 taco was the worst vehicle I ever owned . Sure it started daily but damn tonka toy couldn't handle bumps without wheel bearings needed to be replaced 3 mufflers , brakes constantly till I upgraded , weird scissoring metal noises . Yeah Toyota crap

I don't know anything about offroading but this is my second frontier... didn't realize how much respect it didn't get until recently
Right? It is truly incredible how underrated it is. However I think that might be due to the lack of marketing on Nissan's part in previous years, and likely having the same look/generation for about 16 years. I have a '19 frontier pro-4x and love it so much. And in the future once it comes time to retire this one I will definitely be getting whichever new generation they have by that point.
Pretty sick seeing the Frontier starting to get the respect it deserves, solid truck man

I bought one of these 3 months ago and just back then the aftermarket was pretty much nothing I am so happy to hear about you guys supporting what I think is the best midsize in the segment I also am new to off-roading so I appreciate y’all putting yourselves out there to answer questions it really makes the whole ordeal less intimidating

My husband and i just bought a 2024 Nissan Frontier S V King Cab 4 x 4 really like the truck. We Usually buy Toyota's but the Tacoma seating was not comfortable and the 6 speed transmission was searching for gears constantly.

Nice job guys! It’s a great looking rig . Nissan has done a terrific job re-vamping their Frontier platform. I hope it’s as dependable as it’s predecessor was. I had an 07’ for work for 5-10 years , and it was a great reliable machine. Nice to see other off road vehicles in the overland lineup . The new Ford Ranger has done quite a bit accessory wise as well . The ride quality compared to a lot of others is quite awesome too. I’m typically a Ford guy, but finally bought my first 3rd gen Tacoma. I’m loving it so far .

I got a 2022 SV 4x4. I wanted a Pro4X. Hopefully I can find one like I want in 3 years. I had a 2018 SV and this truck is so much more. Thanks Nissan

How has your frontier been since purchase? You happy with it? I think it’s a sharp truck, the styling is on point! I’m thinking about a purchase. I keep going back and forth between the frontier, maverick and Ridgeline. The frontier is the best looking real truck for sure of the three
@@MrDmthomp32 In all honestly it is performing really well in all cases. The day to day drivability is really great and the best among the mid-sized trucks we own (ZR2, Tacoma, Gladiator). We have been impressed with the fit and finish as well. Off-road it will perform really well and go above and beyond as compared to the Maverick and Ridgeline although I'm guessing the fuel economy will be slightly behind those two models.
@@CBIOFFROADFAB this is really helpful. Your assessment is right in line with what I anticipated. The Frontier is basically the last mid-sized truck that while kitted out (pro4x) can still be had for a reasonable price! Plus with the updated exterior and interior it looks the part as well.

Just subscribed to your channel, iam considering buying a 2023 frontier this year. I am a total rookie on overlanding but looking to make it my hobby now that I am semi Retired. So glad I found your channel getting motivated watching these cool videos. So iam not mechanically inclined so when I buy my frontier I would need to drive it to you guys ,I live in NY .Or would there be a better way.

Thank you! There's a chance the sliders for the Crew Cab will fit the Kind Cab, but it is something we haven't test fitted yet.

Mid size trucks are basically the size of and tow as much as 1/2 tons from years ago so not a surprise they can do pretty well cause they aren't that small anymore

Bought the same truck and color and it has been really nice. Drives great. Did you change the gears for the tire size or did it handle it well with the 9 spd?

Thank you for finally taking interest in Nissan trucks! We recently ordered a Covert bumper for my Wife's 22 Frontier and look forward to it. Any plans to build stuff for the 20+ Nissan Titan? The 20+ Titan has similar style characteristic but up-sized, Titan also has the same bed rail system.
