That Green one has the perfect tires and lift 🔥🔥
We have worked with Nisstec for many years.. Solid company
I like the Frontier with the 3" lift and the 33's with the taller bed rack and roof tent. Thanks Andre great review of both trucks. Both trucks look fantastic.
Thanks Andre. I like seeing more about the Frontier!
The Frontier platform in a “Titan swap” configuration is the best money/performance you can get for these trucks. Good looking trucks nonetheless.
I like these better than the 3rd gen tacos. -2nd gen taco owner
Titan swap is roughly 2k more expensive than the Nisstec MKII 4" lift, not including labor if you don't have the means to DIY. Do you really think there is that much of a difference?
@@thebrainsack Huge difference. I spent around $2200-2300 in total if I remember… Rock Auto is your friend and the list of parts needed is all in ADO Titan swap guide. The most expensive thing is the coil-overs, but for the amount of front travel compared to frontier spec lifts is impressive. If you take your truck off-road a lot I would suggest Titan swap route. - you’re also able to use your stock R180 front diff if you’re 4WD. Hands down the best modification to the truck I’ve done. Do you have a 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen frontier forgot to ask…
@@adrianiniguez5214 Hey thank you - appreciate the info! I got 22, first truck. ADO seems awesome, had to show some support and became a member.
@@adrianiniguez5214 did you buy all the parts from Rock Auto instead of a pre-made kit like from nisstec or ADO? I know those kits hit 3k easy
I would love to see you guys testing out the 4 inch lifted version at your Tumbleweed test track.
A great way too possible see a stock vs modified, and how capable they are in there own right.
"Feels sturdy"
Edit-
Id bet a non lifted oem rig would do the exact same with the 4" mentioned here.
This video doesn't really hold up you can now get a Colorado trailboss with factory lift and factory clearance for 33" tires for the same price.
I saw a lifted '22 Frontier last week and it looked sweet! Half-ton trucks have gotten too big for me. I will seriously consider the Frontier when I go shopping in late fall.
Did you get one?
Glad the new Frontier is getting some aftermarket accessories 👍😎
new body style definitely caught the eyes of the bigger aftermarket companies.
I have a 2016 frontier with a 6 inch lift. I love it. Just hit 40k miles
2.5" Rough Country loaded struts., with a 2" shackle set in the back. Cooper AT3 4S 285/70/17's...... no rubbing. I had to remove the front splash guards. DONE. Total lift cost $375. You MUST get the SPC adjustable lower camber bolts for proper alignment. $40 on eBay. The 2020 Frontier bolts fit the 2022 Pro4x perfectly. Very happy, no harshness. NICE ride. Love the truck now. May get higher clearance upper control arms later but no issues with light off-roading.
The Frontier looks great with the lift and the bigger tires. The stance just looks strong and muscular. I can't choose between the trucks though. They both look awesome
I own a Toyota Tacoma and this looks super cool the Nissan Frontier.
I bought one. Absolutely love it. Lifted. Wheels and tires and bed rack. Roof rack coming. Camp with it. Absolutely love it
Man those new Frontiers look amazing! Both trucks setups are great but out of the two I would definitely go with the wrapped four inch lifted truck. The lower bed rack might be better for wind but I like to have as much bed room as possible. They’re built for off-road and camping not mall crawling
I owned a 2017 Tacoma which I loved. It got totaled with my Daughter driving it…some lady hit her head on. My Daughter is okay but my truck is a total loss. I’m looking to buy another mid size truck. I’ve been looking at the GMC Canyons which look really aggressive but don’t like the 4 cylinder. The Tacoma for 2024/25 is also now a four cylinder. I’ve been looking at the Nissan Frontier Pro4X and really love how aggressive the truck looks. I’m driving out to my local Nissan dealer to test drive one today and will let you guys know what I think after the test drive…it really looks nice after a nice 3” lift like the one on this video.
The new Frontier is badass truck for sure..
Something I never thought I would see was Frontiers with dealer markups. Crazy times.
We felt lucky getting my Pro-4X for MSRP
@@cade3166 where please tell me
I got my sv 4x4 800$$ under MSRP
@@adrianesparza2684 wow locky you i try to buy pne in california s 4x4 3 months ago they wanted me to pay them 39 for the s model i was lile fuc$ you guys
@@gokusuky253 Dick Smith Nissan in Lexington SC sold me mine in tactical green with only state sale taxes added to msrp. Ask for Gaston he will take care of you.
Just ordered mine today. Can't wait for it to get here.
Love the setup on both trucks. Once I find a cargo rack that will fit in my truck bed’s stake hole, I’d look into a roof nest.
Those trucks have come a long way. I love my Ranger Tremor, but if these Frontier’s had been out when I bought my truck, it would have been a tough decision.
They both look great. I like the white one. That build is awesome. But I love the army green
Those NISMO grey wheels are sweet - I'm really liking these new Frontiers. My dad (RIP) owned 3 previous gen. Frontiers. Every time he'd go looking at trucks, he just kept going back to a Frontier. He drove the new Ranger when it first came out and hated it. He drove the GMC Canyon and didn't like it. I wish he were here to see this new gen. no doubt he'd be driving one. He passed just before they came out. I kept telling him it was coming and he'd get excited. I've always been a Toyota fanboy and currently drive a 15 Tundra and it's pretty "overlanded out" HAHA, but I really need to downsize and this new Frontier keeps calling me.
Good looking trucks.
I just got all comparable equipment for my Frontier, suspension components, wheels, tires. I had to go with a different company because Nisstec didn't respond to my inquiries. I also got a 1 inch body lift and making the necessary modifications to eliminate rubbing.
whered you get them? I ordered Nisstec but half of the components are on backorder.
Beautiful trucks, I'd go with the white one, that's pretty slick. Now they just need to figure out a winch set up
I like the Green Truck.I was waiting for the Ranger Raptor, but I would get the Frontier & save cash.
very cool looking I'd definitely take one over a tacoma
If I was in the Toyota Tacoma sales division, I would be quaking in my boots because these Nissan Pro 4x'es are one of the FEW mid-size trucks that can actually COMPETE with Toyota Tacoma in actual 4x4 performance. I haven't seen many dealer markups in Canada and since the Nissan dealer is literally across the street from me, the prices while high are still very reasonable compared to say the Bronco!
The KEY ISSUE is financing since most people will be buying on a 6 year term (72 months) with $2000 down! If you can get a good interest rate, I would DEFINITELY buy the Pro-4x over the Tacoma even the TRD-pro simply because of the quite large price difference between the two! The bigger tires, 4 inch lift and camper package is icing on the cake. I would put an extra protective fuel and water can carrier on a back-bumper swingout cage which carries at least two each of 20 gallon Jerry Cans of gas and water for long-term/long-distance overlanding/boondocking!
This is the first midsize that I feel is a WORTHY COMPETITOR to the Toyota Tacoma TRD-Pro. I have not fully reviewed the latest Chevy Colorado ZR2/GMC Canyon but those are two other trucks to look at to look at!
Toyota is starting to PRICE THEMSELVES OUT of the mainstream market and it is STARTING to show in their sales. Surprisingly, it is the Ford Maverick and Ranger that are starting to BITE BIG TIME into yearly Toyota Tacoma sales. Nissan is not that far behind the Fords! Toyota had better watch out!
V
Go Nissan!
Quite like the version with the white wrap.
We need to talk about the new Xterra.
Green truck loves just right.
Dude yeah, yeah, yep, yeah. This dude hurt the video. Anyways, great looking trucks!
I would do the 4 inch lift with the lower rack system to keep the tent down below cab level.
That’s what I was thinking. With these trucks, I’d have the taller rack on the short lift. Personally,I’d get the 4” lift with lower tent/rack
Love the both of them nice truck
So the second Condor Overland shows up on YT and it’s on a sponsor build. I can’t wait to see some actually non sponsored real use reviews on this tent before dropping that kind of money. I think TFL should buy one and honest review it! 😂
Frontiers are so cool
The Navara we got are so girly
I have the Nisstec Elka 4” setup as seen here same tire size too… but with the upgraded rear shocks and no sway bars on a 2nd gen frontier. Bought it in 2020, it was a stock 2013 pro4x with 46k miles for 22k. I bought it when looking at tacos that were 10-12k more for similar. I also have a RTT on a rci 12” rack. I have 6k in upgrades and it has been an amazing truck. I have run plenty of difficult trails In colorado and a trip to Moab. And let me tell you, this lift transformed this truck. Used second gen or new 3rd gen, this is the best bang for your buck offroad rig you will find. Titan swaps are phenomenal, but ultimately make it considerably wide for some of the tighter shelf roads western off-roaders find themselves on. This kit gives you the best Goldilocks footprint.
Nice setups on those Nissans. I’m running a Chevy Colorado ZR2 w/ level & 33s, so my stance is very similar. The only change that I’d make is to remove the sidesteps. 👍🏻
Fronty looks so much better lifted !
Yea I prefer the style that is just the big tube that doesn't have the steps hanging down
4 inch lift but I'd skip the tent and rack. If a nice cap existed for these trucks that would be sweet.
3" good all around package 👍
Innuendo?
Andrey, I decided to sell my 2022 Maverick (long story, dealership service nightmare) and I bought a used Nissan Frontier SV: 2011, Extended Cab, V6 6 speed manual, 4wd with 85,000 miles. I pull a small trailer (Forest River R-Pod 179, dry weight 2700' tongue weight 360'), I live in the Denver Colorado area and this is both my daily driver and I use it for camping and exploring in Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. I plan on putting a 2-3" lift, 33" tires, long throw shocks, longer front springs, parabolic rear springs and then the lightest underbody armor (aluminum alloy) I can get. For me lighter means I'm less likely to get stuck off road. I am probably going to buy from Alldogs Offroad in Lincoln Nebraska - they have lots of expertise in Nissan lifts and they are close enough I can drive out there to pick up my parts. I plan on installing it myself - I'm no mechanic but I have done a fair bit of wrenching on lots of cars I have bought over the years. This is another great video as always, thank you! I'd love to see these out at Moab. I just came back from Waldorf Mine by Argentine Pass to assess the Frontier in stock form - it will definitely benefit from the lift, but I really like it already. The 6 speed manual is so smooth - what a joy to drive! I am back to buying used rather than new now that used car prices are somewhat back to reality (at least for Nissan).
I like the look of the white truck
$54,000 is cheap for what you get. The new GMC Canyon off-road package is $66000
Im a die hard Tacoma person but these are really well built and a much better deal..... Tacoma's are really high now...... :(
Yes, and since Tacoma is now made with Mex labor, they are saving money, yet still jack up the price to the buyer. Let's boycott greedy Toyota now.
Personally I want a 1 or 2 inch lift. With 32 or 33 inch tires. 4 inch lift sounds very Tippy. I am not a fan of rooftop tents, also Tippy. My cab height TOPPER EZ LIFT with shell is pretty perfect.
Frontier on 33s minus the roof rack.
the Tacoma Killer 😎
Why has Nissan discontinued their NV van Lineup
I have a Titan with those same Nitto's that Frontier has but in 35"s ❤ the new PRO-4X But that $3,500 leveling kit for starter's the upper control arm and front sway arm link look's WAF
Choices choices.
2022 model years:
Tundra
Titan
Tacoma
Frontier
Which one and why???
Personally I would want the 3 inch set up with 33s and the 12 inch rack but the 4 inch looks great!
I would go with the green one with a little bit smaller tire to do away with the tire rub, But other than that i would do it the same way.
finally someone making a decent lift for the frontier. 3500 is pretty expensive for what you are getting though lol.
Would have appreciated a few more specs, e.g. stock's vs. each modified's approach, breakover, and departure angles. Seemed like it was pulling teeth for Andrey to get info from the young man. Perhaps I missed it, but does he own or work at a shop or dealership that performs such modifications? This video could have been much more informative.
i would love to see three frontiers one with the 3inch 1 with the 4 inch and 1 with the 6inch full front block and cross member side by side compair. where the 3 and 4 are just coil over and blocks and the 6 inch is a full on front cross member and also control arms and such.
I would go with the taller rack. That way I could put my kayak up there or even a ladder. It's a truck. I would want to be able to use it to do truck things too.
4 inch lift is the one I'd put in my garage
I would take either over an anemic Tacoma.
Titen swap all day and the new trucks (4wd) can fit the wider stance
Chulada de camionetas!
Saludos!!
Buena vibra 🔥✌️👌!!
I know the Pro4x Frontier has a few weaknesses, off road, so I'd go with 4 inch lift and the 35s
can always titan swap the frontier and it loses pretty much all weaknesses at that point other than a wider stance up front.
I hate the stock side steps, I hit my leg on them all the time because I don't need them 😂. Need to take em off. They look great though
A slideout floor is needed now that there's no side access.
Can you give links to the companies providing the parts for the Frontier. Thanks for all the Great Videos. Keep up the good work
Nisstec lifts provides the lift, Hefty Fabworks makes bumpers and skid plates
I’m going go out on a limb and say the 3” feels the same as the 4” lift as far as smoothness but idk how different 1” is gonna make. My stock is starting to pop so I’m looking around for a new one. Im at 46k miles in my frontier. I’m not sure which to get I might get the 4”
Its Oct and I have yet to see someone driving a 2022 Nissan Frontier.
Who makes the bed divider? Super cool
Have you figured this out yet? Because I want one as well but can't for the life of me find one that for sure fits.
Love the Trucks except for the wonky rooftop tents.
They look very wonky indeed
I have a pro4x and i try to buy a nisstec suspension kit and they took 4 mounts to send the kit.
And for rci forn bumper I'm not recommend the front bumper is not even powered coated
Thanks for doing this review, just what I was hoping for. It was said that the green truck had a little tire rub up front - did that occur in the 4" lifted truck? Also, would a little trimming get rid of that problem in the 3" lifted truck?
I’ve heard from guys in forums that it only rubs when the suspension is fully compressed and wheels locked
Highly popular but yet nobody is selling lift kits for pro4x models
Can someone answer two questions for me: 1) What bed divider is that in the 3" lifted version. 2) What brake/blinker lights are in the 4" lifted version? I love the look of those.
Factory tail lights
@@alexacuna8983 I realized that shortly afterwards. I clearly don't spend enough time looking at the back of my truck. Still wondering about that bed divider though.
Poor kid is out of his element. He need a little more training in the marketing field. If it wasn't Andrey we wouldn't have any information.
I only came here to say this. The rep needs more info and provide some reasoning behind what they install.
Same. This felt awkward as shiz...
Gotta start somewhere. Most of us looked like idoits day 1 of our job.
Yes, right. Yea right, uh huh.
I thought it seemed like the kid couldn’t get a word in, the other guy wouldn’t stop talking.
Both are awesome I live in fla so I'd go for the 3 inch lift as everything is realitivly flat here however if I was in Colorado I'd opt for the 4 inch lift it really depends alot on where & for what your doing with the truck & what kind of terrain in my humble opinion
The trucks looked good. I would not like the fact there is tire rub. Just me and not my truck. Did they calibrate the speedometer for the different tires? Another thing people do not do when the put on larger tires.
Looks like you lost some pieces going over those tracks Andrey!
I like them both. I lifted mine 2.5in
Good vedio now how about chipìng it more hp torue
nice truck. is there a front locker available?
Can you provide links to the suspension upgrades?
Where did they get the bed divider on the green frontier? I’ve been looking and that one looks like the best fit.
I would also like to know this!
NissTec is still around?!? I thought they went under... The brick and mortar shop in Colorado closed it's doors. Is this a different company? Several customers on the Nissan and Xterra forums have filed complaints because they paid for orders that never came since the shop closed down.
Don't believe so...ive been looking for it aswell
The Frontier could have been my first Nissan but you can't buy a Frontier with a six foot bed and a locking diff. Bought a Tacoma instead.
I sacrificed the locker for the 6ft bed. I am not taking it to Moab so I will be fine. Eventually I would like to get an OEM locker to put in it or an OX Locker or something but the open diff with the brake diff lock is fine for most stuff for me.
Sweet and we want nissan gtr nismo engine and nismo aftermarket parts in it
Where can I get this lift kit....any help?!! Thankss..
What’s the mpg with these lifts looking like?
So I am about to close the deal on a 4X. My question is by doin any mods/lifts does that void the truck warranty at all? I have heard 3” lift was fine but after that things get tricky?
Do yall have part numbers for everything that was bought for that kit? He says 3500 but starting is 2200. Curious as to what all was put into it.
With that 4”, would a 285/75/17 rub the body at all at full flex?
I looked on rci website and they dont list frontier items ...can you find out if they used for example tacoma bed racks and they fit. ???
Why keep the side steps on the army green 3" lift?
We just got a new plow truck at work with sissy steps first time I went to get in I learned to hate them quickly
Is the white also has 33 inches tire too?
i asked this weeks ago and never got an answer
Will my side curtain airbags still deploy if I drive off a sand dune the wrong way again? Like my old 2012 frontier. No damage on the outside of vehicle just sets off airbags.
Yikes! Not cool.
The low range turns off the air bag. It will deploy in 4H.
@@Humandriver5280 yeah they need a non hackjob way of turning them off in 4 hi not going to be in 4lo in the sand especially when I'm trying to go fast. My 2010 toyota has a button to turn them off.
Nice trucks ! 3" lift with 33's for me
So Andre , Do u think the 2 in lift
Is comparable to the Toyota Trd
2in lift, in ride & Qual 🤔
Is that a Cellular or GPS booster antenna at 2:55? Can you share any more info on that?
The only thing I would be worried about is a Nissan (Renault)…..
I like the look of these trucks. They look like with a few mods they can look even better. What we need to see are real world, not very exp, engine mods because they are dogs on the road.
Is Max even old enough to drive those things? LOL
You can get a drivers license at 15yrs old in Boulder?
