I was lucky enough to meet JJ when in a print shop in downtown El Paso about 1976. He was in line behind me. I didn't know who he was but he was nice, polite individual. Hat's off to him for a good life well lived.

I thought the body guard in the background was a mannequin of muammar Gaddafi until I say him move.
Interesting story...didn't see that one coming. The 'bodyguard' making like a statue in background was a little weird but he was unique for sure. Always enjoy your videos.

I read his book as a boy as was fascinated by his life. great video!!!
