I'm an athlete and uses the same ingredients to make a smoothie...I roast the beets. Blend beets, ginger, banana, Pineapple, cocoa powder, peanut butter, almond milk and coconut water. Very delicious and use before and after my run.

This is my first on your channel. This is one of my mom's favorite Sunday drink to make with Sunday dinner. I'm 61 years old and still makes it with my children. I'm also from yhe beautiful island of Jamaica 🇯🇲. We boil the skin with ginger to make a delicious tasty drink.
I keep my lime and lemons wedges after I squeeze the juice on salads or steam vegetables. Then I throw them in a French press with cloves, fresh mint, cinnamon, rosemary, ginger, turmeric... whatever is available and pour boiling water over it and let it set 5 minutes and plunge it and drain off the tea.
The skin can be used for compose , as fertilizer for plants. Thanks so much for sharing, a refreshing drink. You can only get it homemade. I do not care how long the video is I enjoy watching it, all natural. Kingston, Jamaica 🇯🇲
I certainly don't have the time to do the additional filtering multiple times, etc either. I'll just chop everything up and store it in the fridge or freezer. And then pop it into a blender with vanilla almond milk and blueberries for ultimate smoothies. I also add nuts and seeds for the omega 3s, healthy fats. And a tablespoon of organic coconut oil to finish things things up. Without question...the healthiest and and best tasting smoothies you will ever taste!! Simply AMAZING!!
Chef Ricardo, thank you for this recipe as it allows me to drink the beet juice without gagging. I tried it your way and I also tried it using a juicer instead of the nutribullet , and I have to say that the nutribullet makes you work too hard and leaves a lot of goodness unused. The juicing method combines it all and leaves very minimal pulp. I did squeeze in the lemon at the end, I also used coconut water. I'm hoping this helps with my muscle cramps. I know any red juice is good for the blood. I'm drinking the juice as I type. Thank you again. Educating us is priceless!

When I use the juicer I take the leftover fiber pulp etc and freeze it. Then I add it to things like stuffed peppers soups vegetable broths veggie burgers salads etc

I'm from the old school knows all about it, but we don't boil it like that. Just boil the water put the stuff in let water boil again for about minutes turn stove off allow to steam until cool. It's really a pleasant and refreshing drink at👍🥴❤️

There's a few things in this recipe that helps the lungs and heart I'm most definitely going to try this . I'm going to try the pineapple tea as well . Ginger and fennel tea is a great help! We drank it every day when we had Covid, never got really bad. Ginger helps the circulation, which is so badly effected by Covid. May God's grace shine upon you, and help you to heal and be stronger than you have ever been before!
I had covid in April as well and yes I'm weak as well , I'm not on any oxygen , this recipe is very good please try it , also I can tell you that taking prebiotic and iron has really helped with weaknesses as well. I use sea moss gel and turmeric in alot of my smoothies as well, I could not walk or use my left arm, I learned to walk again , and I can open my left hand now , before I could not, it was locked and I feared rheumatoid arthritis, I came along way, I still have balance issues, but hey one day at a time, thanks for sharing, and I hope you enjoy his recipe as much as I do, it has helped me alot☺ the pineapple skin has alot of prebiotic as well I make drink with it sometimes I add a little turmeric to it a squeeze of lime and a cinnamon stick 😊
