Yeah , he's an entertainer, alright. I LOVE God's music:from hymns, to Southern gospel, to the awesome rockin' modern praise & worship. But, this seemed to be more about this kid's talent, which is incredible. However, with all the fancy flourishes, and the many runs up & down the piano, that's all it was about. It swung back & forth from old ragtime jazz riffs to something that just BARELY had the rhythm of a well beloved old Pentecostal shouting, praising *God* song. This wasnt about the rapture, it was about the kid. It ended up sounding like a cross between an old ragtime speakeasy dance number & a piano bar lounge, bearing only the faintest resemblance to a fast spiritual song. Gods music isnt to entertain US. It's to praise GOD & to lift our spirits onto a higher plane of worshipping GOD. All he needed was an oversized brandy snifter on the end of the piano for tips.

G. L. Thomas, Ive had the pleasure of knowing Josh and performing with him for years. He is completely unfocused on self. A totally selfless player. Its completely irresponsible to leave a comment like yours about someone you clearly dont know.
