I know two Easter eggs that don't relate to Black Mirror episodes that you may find interesting. 1) The movie is set in 1984. This is most likely a tribute to the book 1984 by George Orwell. The book details a dystopian future where people are watched and, thus, mind controlled and scrutinized constantly. Mind control is a big theme in the movie. 2) There is one part where Mr. Thakur says something to Colin along the lines of, "Alright alright Leary." And Colin responds, "It's Huxley, not Leary." Colin is referring to the author Aldous Huxley who wrote Brave New World. This book is also about dystopian future where people are controlled by the government through manipulation of desires. There is a lot that they did in the movie to emphasize the theme of control/mind control and reality. It's brilliant.
The ending where you get on the 8:45 train with Stefan’s mother then end up dead in the counsellors office reminded of the ending for Playtest. Where you see a lot into a future/ past but in reality you’ve been dead the whole time.
@@omarmerhi9590 It is. If you stop the video (Black museum episode) in the right moment you can clearly see the machine in a closed room filled with blinking "things". Also when the girl is talking to the museum owner he said they had moved consciousness already but the feel of immersion wasn't good enough (San Junipero episode takes places in a far future but they have experimented with/tested it before)
There is also another reference to National Anthem episode. On the newspaper, right under the main article about Stefan, there is the headline of another article that was only partially seen. But you can still read it as "Princess Susannah Starts School".

I don't think these are Easter eggs, I am pretty sure all of the episodes of black mirror are tied into one universe, we just need to put all the episodes into order.

The name Ritman is mentioned in this episode. John *Ritman* was a famous and highly regarded games developer in the 80s. He made the isometric hits Batman and ahead Over Heels, among others.
The way stefan killed his dad with the ashtray reminded me of how joe killed Beth's dad with the snowglobe in White Christmas.. anyone else notice that?

Or was it like a survival horror game where you try and survive from those dog things.. man this is my favorite series EVER. I cannot wait for a true season 5.
Upon the replay of accepting the offer to work in the office, the repeat scene switches up the dialogue a bit and Colin quotes Aldous Huxley. Huxley is the name of Brooker's second child.
The Playtest Easter egg is not foreshadowing or pre-planning for the Bandersnatch episode at all. Bandersnatch was a real game in development by Imagine Software along with a second game.
