Aleyna he can go through multiple spaces of times if he goes the the window so he did that in one of the paths allowing him to go back and suicide as a child with his mom
the white bear symbol is basically us controlling him for entertainment so yeah he probably is some murderer and has to go through this again and again just to entertain people and that just blows my mind

Watching this made me feel like I was the villain of the episode the whole time. It gave me this icky playing god feeling which I thought was really good with the concept of it all. It was a horror movie/show where you became the downfall of the protagonist no matter what which was very cool and unique
But when you think about it, we're not the villains because we're also being controlled and limited by the choices presented to us. If anything, the one behind the choices is the evil one.

You're thinking about it in linear terms, except the movie is meant to be played on multiple paths more than once as well as outside of the movie as well. In fact, according to the creators there are a lot more paths and endings that haven't been discovered yet.
Best way to watch this episode is stated in the alarm clock song, "Relax, Don't do it..." they are telling you to not make any choices, follow the auto generated pathway, you will see all 5 main endings.

(crazy and obsession theme) FOR COLIN SURVIVE YOU CANT CHASE HIM FOR THE GAME BE A SUCCESS YOU NEED TO CHOP THE DAD IN PIECES OR THE GAME ONLY GETS 2/5 STARS OU DOESNT GET RELEASED.
This is fairly thorough but you forgot to mention that in the endings where you kill the dad, if you choose to bury him the phone will ring and depending on your previous choices Colin or Stefan's boss will show up at the house and you can kill them. Either way the game doesn't get released and you still go to prison. Apparently it is random chance whether Kitty (Colin's wife) or his boss shows up at the house if you say you can't deliver the game on time. Btw I agree that the best ending is with Colin's daughter making the Netflix show. My second favorite is going back and dying with the mom. Simply because I worked really hard to get that damn rabbit. It took me several tries to finally get the TOY option at the safe which triggers that ending.
With my experience with the movie, I've seen all of those and the only one I didn't get to, was the ending where you get the bandersnatch tape on the bus. I 100% believe that there's an ending where you don't go to prison and the game is a 5/5 success. I mean think about it? Are any of those endings really satisfying enough for the main character? Like, how could there not be a way to finish the game without going to jail and becoming crazy. In fact, I think the way to another ending is putting in another number outside of calling the doctor because you go to jail either way.
@@AB-ci2kz I don't know man. That's the thing about Bandersnatch. Trying to wrap his head around infinite possibilities and turn it into a game makes Stefan lose his mind the same way JFD does. That's why the only 5 star endings have him lose his mind and wind up in jail.

omgosh please talk about the colorrrrsss!!! my bff and me were talking about this today! you can see primary colors are the ones that stand out in every scene/shot, so we think yellow is for the present, blue is for the past and red is for the things other people are making believe or choose for him, like the headphones are read because we get to choose the tape and the memories he has when he talks about the past are blue but the staged mom scene is red and its in the past and mind controlling so that's why the cookies have a purple decoration (red+blue) also in the picture the dad is wearing yellow, the mom is wearing blue and stefan is wearing green (like a result of mixing them both) maybe we are wrong and it has to do more with emotions(? or it isn't any of these two ways but i think the color use is important and no one is talking about thatttttt (also i sent this video to my bff so if you're reading this, hi!)

So far what I've found is that, the more endings you get, the longer your red line on the resume playing gets. Currently mines is a little over 1/4th of the way full. And ive been playing for about 3 hours.
The endings I got were- Netflix 4th wall follow by the "action" scene. Choosing to go to his mum on the train scene. Killing and burying his dad and end up in a mental hospital scene. I'm awared there were a few more (read online) but it was getting late and they didn't let you view the different endings without going back to the beginning.
You can actually view all the endings without watching back through after watching through to an official ending first. Official meaning the credits roll after a scene of your choice.
The endings each take on new meaning depending on the previous choices. So even though there are 5 official endings, they all mean something different depending on what you chose. And I don't think they ever arrest Stefan in the "happy ending" where he chops up his dad. I think it's implied that he ran away.
Watching this video is so trippy because I played through it a couple times and there are so many things that still make me say "Wait... I could do what now?"
I've come back to this time and time again. I think as an internet audience we've found all the endings and when Booker was like, "I don't know how to get there again", I think that's mainly the Collin scene where he's like, "wake up. You've done this before. #skip " that's the only scene I've ever seen just once, maybe twice and it's super fun
The fighting scene had me and my sister dying of laughter 😂😂😂......and then seconds later we were screaming when he hit him over the head 😭😭😭 and then crying when we accidentally sent the kid to his death.....so yeah pretty good end to our 2018 and start of 2019, what about y'all?
Anyone get the secret pathway where colin tells you to go back, then you look confused and he says "fine I'll do it for you" and clicks his fingers in your face and boom you're back on a different timeline. Because that was the coolest and I haven't seen many people talk about it
This movie was awesome! I honestly didn’t realise I could control it until I missed something and went to rewind it. Once I knew what was going on it blew my mind. Lol. I laughed at myself so hard.

When you choose PAC as the password for the safe, there's this bit after where you have to put in numbers to call the therapist and I accidentally messed up the numbers (there's no backspace). When I tried it again right after, even though I talked to Colin again, it wouldn't give me the PAC option, just PAX or TOY. (I picked PAX and regretted it lol should've known though) Just thought that was interesting
I got to the bit where the only two password options for the safe were JFD (for the psycho book author) or PAX. I chose JFD and out of nowhere, this author dude jumps up behind Stefan and stabs him, kinda like ending the show, where it actually takes you back to the reset scene where you either 'Talk about your Mum' or you 'Follow Colin'.
I actually reached the post-credit scene with Stefan playing the Bandersnatch tape and the screeching computer noises started playing. I was so confused when I saw that. And now when I realized what it actually was my mind is officially blown!
Getting on the train was my favorite ending. It was to perfect /happy-ish, he just wanted to be away from his father who he blamed for his mother's death (mince=mothers blood), but leaving with her means there was nothing for him to blame his father for and he died with two parents that he loved.
In regards to easter eggs. The magazine cover that mentioned Bandersnatch also mentiones other games.. One being Miner willy meets the taxman, which was supposed to be the 3rd game in the "Miner Willy saga" You had Manic Miner, Jet set Willy and then "willy meets the taxman" was never released, it was a scrapped game. They did make a Jet set willy 2, but it wasnt written by the same guy (Mathew Smith) that made the 2 previous games, so it wasnt really classed as a proper sequil. In fact after a little research it looks like all of those games on that magazine cover are games that were worked on but never released (which is what Bandersnatch was) it was written for the spectrum, by Imagine, but scrapped when they folded, it was later finished by Psygnosis (makers of Lemmings and shadow of the beast) and released on the Amiga and Atari ST under the name of Brataccas. I awoke today about 7a (time of this post after watching this vid is about 12.40) with no prior knowledge of Black Mirror (my friends always said its a dystopian thing, but Id have to "see for myself"), and became intrested awhile back when I saw this "choose your destiny" episode. I decided to wait until I had some time as Im a completionist, and boy, I played through every descision and ending before seeing this. Im honestly glad you threw everything in here, now the only thing I didnt know was that there was a post credits scene- thanks for letting me know!
I watched it... not on Netflix. When he killed his Dad the first time there was no secret room or anything. The the guy said "what should I do" I was like, "bury him in the garden I guess" and he did and I started to freak out a bit. Then When the credits rolled pressed the button and saw that it was 5 hrs long... go pretty scary then, had to come and watch this.
I reckon the best ending is the one where he says yes to working at the company, his game does fail but he doesn't go mental and has had a good learning experience for later in his career

This is fairly thorough but you forgot to mention that in the endings where you kill the dad, if you choose to bury him the phone will ring and depending on your previous choices Colin or Stefan's boss will show up at the house and you can kill them. Either way the game doesn't get released and you still go to prison. Apparently it is random chance whether Kitty (Colin's wife) or his boss shows up at the house if you say you can't deliver the game on time. Btw I agree that the best ending is with Colin's daughter making the Netflix show. My second favorite is going back and dying with the mom. Simply because I worked really hard to get that damn rabbit. It took me several tries to finally get the TOY option at the safe which triggers that ending.
With my experience with the movie, I've seen all of those and the only one I didn't get to, was the ending where you get the bandersnatch tape on the bus. I 100% believe that there's an ending where you don't go to prison and the game is a 5/5 success. I mean think about it? Are any of those endings really satisfying enough for the main character? Like, how could there not be a way to finish the game without going to jail and becoming crazy. In fact, I think the way to another ending is putting in another number outside of calling the doctor because you go to jail either way.
@@AB-ci2kz I don't know man. That's the thing about Bandersnatch. Trying to wrap his head around infinite possibilities and turn it into a game makes Stefan lose his mind the same way JFD does. That's why the only 5 star endings have him lose his mind and wind up in jail.

you can see primary colors are the ones that stand out in every scene/shot, so we think yellow is for the present, blue is for the past and red is for the things other people are making believe or choose for him, like the headphones are read because we get to choose the tape and the memories he has when he talks about the past are blue but the staged mom scene is red and its in the past and mind controlling so that's why the cookies have a purple decoration (red+blue)
also in the picture the dad is wearing yellow, the mom is wearing blue and stefan is wearing green (like a result of mixing them both) maybe we are wrong and it has to do more with emotions(? or it isn't any of these two ways but i think the color use is important and no one is talking about thatttttt

So far what I've found is that, the more endings you get, the longer your red line on the resume playing gets. Currently mines is a little over 1/4th of the way full. And ive been playing for about 3 hours.

You can actually view all the endings without watching back through after watching through to an official ending first. Official meaning the credits roll after a scene of your choice.
I got: Toy ending, jail 2.5 ending, Netflix actor ending, Colin's daughter ending and Stefan jumped ending.

The endings each take on new meaning depending on the previous choices. So even though there are 5 official endings, they all mean something different depending on what you chose.
And I don't think they ever arrest Stefan in the "happy ending" where he chops up his dad. I think it's implied that he ran away.

When you choose PAC as the password for the safe, there's this bit after where you have to put in numbers to call the therapist and I accidentally messed up the numbers (there's no backspace). When I tried it again right after, even though I talked to Colin again, it wouldn't give me the PAC option, just PAX or TOY. (I picked PAX and regretted it lol should've known though)

I got to the bit where the only two password options for the safe were JFD (for the psycho book author) or PAX. I chose JFD and out of nowhere, this author dude jumps up behind Stefan and stabs him, kinda like ending the show, where it actually takes you back to the reset scene where you either 'Talk about your Mum' or you 'Follow Colin'.

I actually reached the post-credit scene with Stefan playing the Bandersnatch tape and the screeching computer noises started playing. I was so confused when I saw that. And now when I realized what it actually was my mind is officially blown!
Getting on the train was my favorite ending. It was to perfect /happy-ish, he just wanted to be away from his father who he blamed for his mother's death (mince=mothers blood), but leaving with her means there was nothing for him to blame his father for and he died with two parents that he loved.
When he goes by the sign on the bus you can see it says ”no future” and the logo.
the saint juniper hospital was also in “the black museum” episode and I almost missed it!
In regards to easter eggs. The magazine cover that mentioned Bandersnatch also mentiones other games.. One being Miner willy meets the taxman, which was supposed to be the 3rd game in the "Miner Willy saga" You had Manic Miner, Jet set Willy and then "willy meets the taxman" was never released, it was a scrapped game. They did make a Jet set willy 2, but it wasnt written by the same guy (Mathew Smith) that made the 2 previous games, so it wasnt really classed as a proper sequil.
In fact after a little research it looks like all of those games on that magazine cover are games that were worked on but never released (which is what Bandersnatch was) it was written for the spectrum, by Imagine, but scrapped when they folded, it was later finished by Psygnosis (makers of Lemmings and shadow of the beast) and released on the Amiga and Atari ST under the name of Brataccas.
So it seems every game listed there was a failed/unreleased game in real life. Well played for the details Charlie Brooker

I awoke today about 7a (time of this post after watching this vid is about 12.40) with no prior knowledge of Black Mirror (my friends always said its a dystopian thing, but Id have to "see for myself"), and became intrested awhile back when I saw this "choose your destiny" episode. I decided to wait until I had some time as Im a completionist, and boy, I played through every descision and ending before seeing this. The the guy said "what should I do" I was like, "bury him in the garden I guess" and he did and I started to freak out a bit. Then When the credits rolled pressed the button and saw that it was 5 hrs long... go pretty scary then, had to come and watch this.
