@@blackrose8418 A, these are just games that are off the top of my head and there's probably even more that I haven't listed here. B, 6th gen games took a lot less time to make than 9th gen games do. For example, Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 took roughly 2 years to make while Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 took roughly 5 years.
microsoft really showed off how much more money you can make by selling on 2 platforms. the xbox and ps5 sell out even without any exclusives, so why limit yourself to customers that own the hardware? i'd imagine sony shareholders were pissed that they were leaving so much money on the table.

Nintendo still managing to be at the top of the big three with the games they have this generation. Their stance on emulation is still not great, but compared to Sony and Microsoft they're doing well.
Because there’s literally no reason to own a PS5, that’s why it matters. Consoles need real reasons to exist to make them actually worth getting. People bought consoles in the first place because they were simple, decently priced and had some games that could only be played on it. Now consoles besides the Switch are basically just lamer PCs. So when you have no exclusives besides a very niche title like Demon Souls, most people would just spend a bit more and get a gaming laptop that can do more than a ps5. That’s why it matters ya fool, that’s why consoles mattered in the first dang place!!

I love to boot up San Andreas on my PS2 every now and then, or get on Gears of War 3 on my Xbox 360. Yes, I _technically_ could play them on PC through piracy and emulation, but to me that would ruin the experience. The 8th and 9th gen consoles just feel so soulless and corporate, like all the fun was sucked out of them at the end of 7th gen.

Yea you can watch movies and other form of media on a PS, but with the rise of smart TV, that's probably not a selling point anymore. So it boils down to gaming, the literal main function of a console. And I really don't see any reason to buy a PS over an Xbox.

A, these are just games that are off the top of my head and there's probably even more that I haven't listed here.
B, 6th gen games took a lot less time to make than 9th gen games do. For example, Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 took roughly 2 years to make while Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 took roughly 5 years.

Because there’s literally no reason to own a PS5, that’s why it matters. Consoles need real reasons to exist to make them actually worth getting. People bought consoles in the first place because they were simple, decently priced and had some games that could only be played on it. Now consoles besides the Switch are basically just lamer PCs. So when you have no exclusives besides a very niche title like Demon Souls, most people would just spend a bit more and get a gaming laptop that can do more than a ps5. That’s why it matters ya fool, that’s why consoles mattered in the first dang place!!

I love to boot up San Andreas on my PS2 every now and then, or get on Gears of War 3 on my Xbox 360. The 8th and 9th gen consoles just feel so soulless and corporate, like all the fun was sucked out of them at the end of 7th gen.

Playing on a Xbox or playing on a PC, Microsoft still win, window and many other services is their after all.
But Sony tho, why buy a PS if you can play the same thing on a Xbox and more? Yea you can watch movies and other form of media on a PS, but with the rise of smart TV, that's probably not a selling point anymore.
So it boils down to gaming, the literal main function of a console. And I really don't see any reason to buy a PS over an Xbox.

@@Th3Kingism Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants.
The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style.
The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.
Many grasses are short, but some grasses, like bamboo can grow very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places, even if they are very cold or very dry. Several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family are also sometimes called grass; these include rushes, reeds, papyrus, and water chestnut.
Grasses are an important food for many animals, like deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars, and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. Without grass, dirt can wash away into rivers (erosion).
Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals.
Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow.
