Sure Superstar Saga's story isn't some deep character arc filled exploration or anything, but I actually really dig how active the story is. They really could've just taken the plot from the first half of the game and stretched it across the whole game and nobody would've complained, hell most Mario is like that. It's all just real cool: the main villain being beaten halfway through, having this whole journey just to reach the hub area, that collection quest that usually would make up the entire plot of lost of older rpgs was only 1/5 of the game, Luigi getting a few solo sections to prove himself, having a fun recurring secondary antagonist, Bowser's amnesiac episode only lasting for like 2 hours, the progression of the Bros abilities as they keep getting stronger and learning damn elemental powers n shit, etc etc This game just captures this feeling a lot of rpgs, especially older ones, I feel miss. Which is that everything you're doing feels like it's actually progressing the plot and not just bumming around doing filler shit.
Life isn’t about what you deserve. We crawl out of a womb-mother, naked, cold and confused and we start blindly heading through a treacherous pathway filled with nothing but misery, regret that pain. A parasite called “soul” slowly rots away inside of our meat shell, until the only thing you feel is absolute emptiness. No happiness, no pain. Only a cold, dark and black abyss. And then we die. The moss reclaims our flesh. We become nothing. Almost as we never existed at all. But death a blessing.
Abaolutely gobsmacked by the quality of the editing, and the quick pace of your videos every time. Great work! Also, you made me feel bad for never picking this game up as a kid, sounds like the kind of game child me would adore. My personal nostalgia filled-experience is dissidia on the psp. Must’ve replayed that more tomes than there are minutes in a year.
Man.... super star saga, i remember playing that game at night before going to bed under the blanket, I always thought my mom didnt know, i talked to her a while back and she told me she always knew, she just let me play sometimes lol. Good times man, great video man!
porter robinson is my favorite artist so that porter jumpscare rly hit me different. I found your channel last week and I've been eagerly awaiting your next video, and I wasn't disappointed. you definitely need to have more subs. you're doing amazing, keep it up :3
Nice video! I found your channel a few weeks ago and you've got some good stuff on here. I actually just finished this game for the first time a few weeks ago. Played through most of it a handful of times since I got it on GBA as a kid, tried it on emulators, and I finally decided that enough was enough and I was gonna finish it. Very glad I did, it holds up really well. I also really liked Partners in Time. Haven't replayed that one since I beat it all those years ago, but I remember it being one of my favorites in the franchise. Rip Alpha Dream, here's hoping someone somewhere makes more of these wonderful games.
Great videos Keep 'em coming Love to see you review some classic games you never got to play in youth - Link to the Past? secret of mana? Chrono trigger? Smrpg?
I've played all of those, I'm thinking of some PS1 games in the future. Stuff like Chrono Cross and Legend of Dragoon. Those are a while away though. Thanks for the support!
Great video about a great game! Only complaint is... WHAT IS THAT END BIT ABOUT PARTNERS IN TIME??? I hope you get the 1 mil subs you deserve, btw, you funny condescending man 😭😭😭
Maybe it’s just me but my problem with Superstar Saga was always that bosses felt like they went on way too long. Considering what I heard about Partners In Time I’m sure if I ever get around to playing it, Superstar’s bosses won’t look so bad.
Luke 12:20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’" Luke 22:40 There he told the apostles, “Keep praying for strength to be spared from the severe test of your faith that is about to come.” Leorio, the saykio aniki will burden no such blasphemy.

Dissidia is such a cool thing. Superstar Saga is on the Switch Online service so if you have access, i'd totally recommend giving it a shot

I'd love to see a new Mario and Luigi RPG, maybe pull the dev team from the defunct Alphadream? I doubt it, but a man can dream.
That closing gag was hilarious.
Great stuff as always! Superstar Saga is fantastic I'm glad it's on NSO now as an excuse to replay sometime.
That's where I played it for this video! Editing out the background was an experience for sure.
That end was hilarious imho. Talking to the younger game lol. :)
Can't wait to see you grow man lol
Every video, big or small, brings someone joy and growth to my channel. We stay on that grind.

@@Super_Hambone This video is awesome!!
You should play he first 2 Paper Mario games if you haven't already.
I played Super Paper Mario, that's ALMOST one of the first 3 Paper Mario games.
@@Super_Hambone Super Paper Mario was pretty good but the first 2 are on a different level.
So what's your issue with dream team?
It sucks and is ugly! (I like it.)
