TRIP REPORT | Lufthansa 747-8I Economy Class Frankfurt - Seoul + FRA Senator Lounge full experience

- Join me on my journey to Seoul, where I'll be studying for half a year. I was initially scheduled to fly via Doha on Qatar Airways A380, but because of problems related to COVID-testing, I had to reschedule the day before my flight. Although perhaps not quite as fancy as Qatar Airways, getting a chance to fly the 747 once more should not be taken for granted. Overall, I am very happy with this flight. Now, I am curious about how Lufthansa compares to Asian carriers on similar routes.
This video shows my experience onboard the 747-8, as well as my visit to the Senator Lounge at FRA, which I had access to because of my Star Alliance Gold membership. I've never seen so much food in an airport lounge before, and the Senator Lounge ended up being one of the highlights of the trip!

Found your video because I was looking for LH 747 videos. Will be flying FRA-ICN and ICN-FRA as well and booked them for the same reason! :D The 747 is the reason I got so passionate for aviation in the first place. Hope you enjoyed every second of your flight :).
Both the flights are scheduled to be 744s but I‘ll take any 747 of course and would be greatly offended if an A350 or 787 were to show up at the gate :P. Did you manage to get your seat in advance? The app does not let me choose a seat and says I can choose one when checking in online. Def. don‘t wanna leave it up to chance and sit in the middle or at a windowless seat (if there are any) for 11+ hours.

Because the only lomg flight i had was with Swiss airline on an empty plane wich was the best flight i ever had better in economy then firsf class because very person slept on a 4 sit row with 4 pillows
Probably they launched premium eco after these planes were delivered and there was not enough space behind business class? 🤷🏼♂️ Great video! Would love to fly in a 747 some day.

I agree! It must cause some logistical issues, such as during meal services
How was the flight in general? It will be my first long flight and I’m kinda scared about it. Was there a long of turbulences?
The flight was great! It varies from flight to flight how much turbulence there is, but it is never dangerous. The cabin service and entertainment options on long flights makes them go by in no time.

basically during 11 hours flight they only serve carbohydrate. You will get astringe after the flight :D This airline what a joke really.
