I flew Singapore to Manchester via Frankfurt. I was so disappointed with the Singapore-Frankfurt leg. Almost exactly the same as what you have mentioned. With the exception of price I was struggling to find anything positive. And 2 drinks round on a 12 hour flight simply isn’t good enough. I like the reviews. Keep it up.
Thanks for the support! Interesting you found something similar down to Singapore, certainly needs improvement. How was the connection at Frankfurt? Had friends flying via Manchester and missed their connection there and back
Another good one, Jamie! I do miss the days when you were pretty much guaranteed a 747 if you flew transatlantic, although I do have to say that I was expecting a bit better from LH's 748 offering. Seemed pretty lacklustre!
Cheers Andy. It’s only my second time on a 747 and yeah it was a bit disappointing. For such a new aircraft the way Lufthansa fitted them out was a bit poor. It’s a shame their hard product has lagged behind for so long, a bit like BA thought to tbh!
Lufthansa its not an airline its a bus company they are always behind compare other top carriers Ive tried their business but even that wasn't something special
There was no upgrade offer at boarding, certainly nothing I was offered. We did get the opportunity to bid before hand though with a bid starting in the high hundreds I seem to remember

Hello! Sounds like a lovely trip, no you don’t need to pre book, only what they refer to as special meals like halal, low salt or any specific requirements. Enjoy your flight :)

Hopefully they up their game with the hard product changes this year, but it's going to take a while to get the fleet updated!

Given the recent jump in airline prices - £600 for that return trip doesn't look too shabby.
The kicker is we had Air France flights booked a few months before for £400 return, but had to cancel due to covid!

No snacks. Only a small chocolate bar when we asked. Real disappointment

i flew this route last october dublin-frankfurt-mia and i wasnt impressed by the food

Why nowadays one has to be impressed with that, it's an airplane economy class food that's included in the price, not a fine dining restaurant

As I mention at the start, this was back in August 2022 where the rules on flights to and from Germany enforced mask wearing
