The Boeing 747~800 Is By Far, The Most BEAUTIFUL & SPECTACULAR Plane!!!!!! I'm so Proud of LUFTHANSA, KOREAN AIR & AIR CHINA, for having them, in their Passenger Fleet Of Aircraft. VERY, VERY SMART & SENSIBLE DECISION!!!!!! These Three Airlines Are VERY FAITHFUL, VERY LOYAL To The Boeing 747. They have NOT FORGOTTEN this Divine Plane!!!!! That proves how much GRATITUDE they have and also RESPECT & REGARD For The QUEEN OF AVIATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought the same. 30 years as cabin crew. Since I hung up my sky suit for good, I haven’t seen a aircraft from inside, let alone travelled by air. And I’m not missing it at all. All the memories are still fresh from all the ocean crossings, long night flights homebound out of SE Asia, all the good times (and not so good ones) and the massive amount of laughs with my colleagues.
It was a wonderful time and I am so grateful for all the experiences. Our world has a lot to be discovered. And now, every time I get ready for bed, I think about how much I appreciate that it is my own bed. Not another hotel room, just home.
Watching this video is very soothing, kudos to the creator. I guess you would’ve been my most favourite customer to look after on this flight. That shot from the start of the take off roll, take off and climb out and the zooming back into the cabin. Brilliant! A big thumbs up, and I leave a sub. Thank you.

In 1998 I flew on Lufthansa a Boeing 747-400 from San Francisco to Frankfurt and back!! Throughly enjoyed the flight!!

Yes, I flew on Lufthansa few years ago, and I'll fly again next year! Lufthansa is a great company worthy to my respect as they carry us in the sky for hours over the Atlantic Ocean to Europe!!! At the Boeing field you saw that the 747-8 was very quiet. Once it got 2/3 down the runway you couldn't hear it anymore. That was something. This is the last year for its production. Long live the 747. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

Yes I have flown on Lufthansa 747 in 2009 from Frankfurt to Dalles Texas. It was quite a journey. I was sitting under the Piolet's was an amazing feeling.
I agree with you about the 747. It is stunning. Saw a Lufthansa 747 heading back to Europe when we flew from Miami to Rome in August. Just watching it roll by from the terminal windows gave me chills. Giant, massive, but graceful.
A very high Salute And Respect to Lufthansa for the Old Is Gold. Still having the 747s and the old type Business Class seats.

I have flown Lufthansa Business Class from Abuja to Frankfurt, and back to Abuja. It was an excellent aircraft, with great attendants.

I have flown on 14 different type aircraft and 2 types of helicopters over 62 years. Loved all of them.
My favorite is the Boeing 747. Does anyone remember the first class lounges on the upper deck? Back in the 1970s and 80s some airlines had bar lounges with sofas and arm chairs on the pilot's deck. Pan Am even used to have fine dining style round tables on the upper deck. The 747 was always a great way to travel on long distance flights.

In July 1986 I traveled on a Lufthansa 747 from Chicago O’Ohare Airport to Frankfort with a choral group from Lafayette, Indiana. Since we were a group, we were all in Coach Class. The Flight Attendants were very courteous and I enjoyed the dual language announcements from the Flight Deck in English and German! I always enjoy your “SteadiCam” video camera work: in the Business lounge and onboard. Your reviews are always very enjoyable!

I flew the 747-8 from Chicago to Frankfurt and back. I loved my seat in the bubble upstairs.
I flew Lufthansa in the 1970's in Germany from Frankfurt to Stuttgart, and it was great. Me, I was struggling after Flying in from JFK.
Have flown Lufthansa 747 for several times on a long distance flight from Frankfurt to Hong Kong. My most favorite airline.
I wil like to fly LH someday. LH have been named “ Airline of the Year” several times and I’m glad they decided to keep the Boeing 747’s for the time being. Hopefully for another 10 years or so

Flew the 747-8 to/from Frankfurt via IAD in the upper deck Business Class cabin in 2018 - we were vacationing in Salzburg, AU and I wanted to try the 747-8 aircraft to add it my list of aircraft types I had flown. Overall they were both great flights and we've always had great crews on any LH flights we've taken.

For me, it is the most comfortable and one of the most beautiful passenger planes in the world. Spacious, gives the impression of a peaceful cruise. I have flown these planes many times on various routes and have always been satisfied. There is no fear or movement in the air when flying this plane. In my heart there will always be a fondness for the flying elephant (jumbo jet). Lufthansa is one of the best airline companies in the world. Excellent cuisine and nice service. Sadness is associated with the fact that these beautiful machines have ceased to be produced.

Just did the MIA-FRA route yesterday on LH. I can't believe i am watching a video about it , but by now u know how much i appreciate and enjoy your approach and presentation of the subject.
I hate flying over oceans as well, but it's way worse at night. Usually the North Atlantic tracks are pretty turbulent during the winter, which of course adds to the dread, but there's just something unsettling about being over water for thousands of miles in every direction. I've never gotten used to it, likely never will, but it's a necessary evil to see as much of this wonderful earth of ours. :) There have been times though when flying back to North America from Europe where the view of the middle of the ocean is just absolutely stunning from the plane, dare I say even calming.
The roughest turbulence I felt was crossing the Alps between Vienna and Zagreb. 45 minutes of bone-shaking terror.

I agree with you the 747 is the most beautiful aircraft ever built. My cousin’s husband was a 747 captain until he retired several years ago. I have been on a wide body plane but that was many years ago. To fly a 747 is a bucket list thing but given my age I doubt it will happen. Thank you for bringing it to us and doing so with wonderful ambiance. Best! 👍✈️
I live in Miami Beach and have seen this plane go over the apartment building many many times. I have not flown in Lufthansa but understand is an excellent airline. Welcome to South Florida, the capital of the sun. Congratulations, our beaches are great. You couldn’t have chosen a better destination.

What a beautiful plane, yes the 747 is the grande dame of the skies now retired. You did not mentioned first class, however having said that. I would fly business class forever with this comfort and elegance on Lufthansa. They also have an impressive modern, sleek, modern terminal with gates for all their destinations. German ingenuity at its bes. I am surprised that the captain used english rather then german first and then english with his announcement.

An awesome video. I've flown Lufthansa a few times within Europe and once long haul, SFO-MUC, on the A340 (-300 and -600). It was very interesting to see their biz class product. It seemed a bit dated compared with many other European carriers, but Lufthansa's inflight service has always been very high-quality and efficient. I'm glad that they are still flying the latest (and final) version of the Mighty Queen of the Sky. I'll likely not get a chance to be on one of the 747-8s, but it's great to see them virtually at least. The production quality of your videos is exceptional and far superior to many others of the type. Well done!

I flew Lufthansa several times from Dulles, Wash, DC to Frankfort. I love the business class and services are fantastic. Also, I love the Star Alliance for sure.

I last flew Lufthansa in 2002, from HK to Frankfurt, crammed into cattle class. The food was... urgh. Powdered eggs and a lone boiled sausage was my breakfast! I'm sure it's better now but I decided from then onwards it was going to either be Singapore or Qantas for long haul flights. I will say in terms of food, the old Lauda Airlines served amazing chocolate-heavy cuisine even in economy, plus the staff were just wonderful.
First flew in a 747 in 1972 with Air France from Montreal to Bombay. Needed to stop in Paris and Tehran on route. The Air France 747 had business seats in lower level and full lounge and bar on upper deck

Did this exact flight on that exact bird this past January. Had to go back and check my pics to be sure. I opted for an upper deck seat because I've never flown on the upper deck. It was interesting, but the windows are a lot lower down than on the main deck. The top of the window was shoulder height for me, so I had to bend over to see anything out of it. I work in the engineering/maintenance side of the aviation industry, and have done many, many trans-Atlantic crossing with no concerns.

I've never flown with Lufthansa, but 5 times on a KLM 747 (economy). B747-8 of Lufthansa is now on my bucket list, love the Queen of the Skies ❤️ the Atlantic crossings... I honestly don't care but I admit that I have a few moments that I think... "We are miles above the sea", right before the wine kicks in and I falling asleep (please do wake me up for the delicious food, I don't want to miss it ever again!!!! ☺️)

Our worst flight ever was on Lufthansa from Hong Kong to Frankfurt - sardines. Looks like improvement since then. Love the peacefulness of this vid.

Just read you are a nervous flyer particularly over water. I have travelled the globe -- a number of long haul flights to places most people will never see. Just keep this in mind: The pilot and copilot have loved ones and families they want to get back to and they are doing their very best to make that happen... for themselves and for all of us on the flight! Just remind yourself (repeatedly, if necessary!) and that ought to calm you! And thanks for your efforts on your videos and content. Great job!

Yes, 747's are very nice! Wasn't aware they had GE engines though, lol. I watch a few live plan spotting & have seen these guys landing at London Heathrow & LAX :) , thanks for sharing!
Most older 747’s bar the -100 and SP had GE CF6 as 1 of 3 options whilst it’s exclusively the GEnX 2B for the -8 (a slightly smaller variant of the larger engine version found on the 787 without the bleedless system)
they actually have had quite some accidents over the decades ! I dont agree that they are nice or safe anymore
