Yea I got them and yes does pull so much better but say good bye to fuel mileage. If I could do it all over I would save until I can afford the GT. Don't get me wrong I love.this car and it's fast as hell now with the modifications but u get such bad mpg not that, that's what I was going for. I just start adding up the bill and for everything I have done I could have just bought the GT and been much further ahead with fewer mods and money. But I do love my car and it gives me pride that it so much faster due to my own time and effort. Good luck with your ride.

I have a 13' V6 as well, I have all of the bolt-ons and the aluminum DS as well. You should definitely add the color shift Halos, they only look good on this model mustang. Just seal the properly or they may leak later on. I put the Koni Shocks and struts and I wasn't happy with the ride. Reminds me everyday to workout my abs. I wouldn't do a gear swap since my whines on decel, but if you read through the forms it's a huge problem unless you get it done from the factory or through Ford.
The GT 500 Brembos are alright, but they have metallic pads stock and squeal like crazy, best buy is to get them through take offs, or at a junk yard like I did for 350. I put the TSW rims and they will definitely improve hook up, and launch. Just get thicker tires than the ones from AM like I did because it'll stiffen the ride even more!
yea I got my gears done and for the last week no absolutely no gear whine, then I just did 130 MPH last night and now I hear some at 60MPH any idea if it needs to be readjusted or can you just not top out anymore with the 3.73 I thought I was luck as hell with everyone talking about there problems with gear whine. but its only at speed when I hear it? but damn does this thing go know I love the gear change I can burn out almost 2 easy! love it hope I can fix minor annoyance
Casey Kaim I got my 2.73 gear swapped for 3.73 last Friday. I haven't had any whine issue so far, haven't hit 130 mph because I don't have the mods (especially the DS) to go above the factory electronic limiter. I did hit 100 mph a few times and did like 15 0-60 runs in a few days though. Still no whine. I know I read on forums a lot about people getting whine if the shop that installed it for them didn't do a good enough job. There are people out there who has zero whine as well.

How have the 3.73's worked out for you? Do you notice a better pull in the earlier gears, such as low end torque? I'm considering getting them.
Do you guys think an aftermarket carbon fiber hood would look good or just get a GT hood and put in carbon fiber hood vents? also was thinking of getting a black rag top, do you guys like the color or what do you think? THANKS

I added the Eleanor style quarter window louvers on mine. I like the style of the grille. Carbon fiber can get expensive. I'm looking to get an aluminum pulley kit, and possibly a larger intake manifold. The stock, plastic manifold is really restricting airflow.

Yea the Street Scene 2 Is painted in a high gloss black I love the look. And the install is the easiest you will ever do it is molded perfect to your front bumper and sits on the body where your front fog lights kind of are. when you pre fit the street scene 2 it will actually sit up without any tape or anything! but its held on with double sided tape and 2 screws on each side inside the fender wells. if you buy the street scène 2 buy from auto anything with coupon of %20 off I paid like $150-160 they don't have a good pic online but just make sure part number matches up. good luck I love it

If it's a matter of taste, and it doesn't break any laws, why not? I like some of the things he has on his mustang enough that it might influence the way I mod mine. Hope that makes sense.
