I want to say that I've watched countless upon countless of urban sketching videos and you are the best. You explain it so well, you show it so easily and you make people want to draw and your method works. ESPECIALLY about drawing lines and how your way brings interest to the drawing and makes simple drawings come to life. Thank you. After all these years you keep bringing me back to your channel above all over artists channels and urban sketching channels. Thank you and please please please keep doing what your doing. There's alot of us who are watching you.
I have a cheaper sketchbook for quick 3-5 min sketches that I use daily just for practice. Then I have a watercolor sketchbook for more serious drawings that take me about 30 mins. I love both loose sketches and more cross hatch sketches that are slightly more realistic. Your channel definitely gave me confidence to draw more without fear !
SO helpful....! just what I need right now to get out of a slump because of trying too hard & giving up.......& back to having fun with wobbles & bits. Thank you !
Thank you so much for helping me try to get started. That there isn't so much right and wrong and using cheaper materials so it won't be so expensive to test, test and test. 🙏🏼
It's very interesting to see how the same subject can be dealt with in different ways. I'd love to see more videos like that. It's also very interesting to emphasise the fact that sometimes you have to use low-end equipment, that you have to be quick and spontaneous, so that you can work better by trial-error-improvement. Thanks a lot
Thank you for your tips! I see you draw with fountain pen and then color with watercolor ... but your lines dose not washed with water... what ink do you use in your fountain pen? dose it water resistant?... I heard about water resistant inks, that they are destroing the pats of pen mechanism ... Dose there exist any safe water resistant ink for fountain pen?

I might give this a go. I keep a notebook made of cheap paper just to practice sketching. It’s small and fits in a pocket
