Looks great, Toby!
Another great project. Thanks so much, Toby!
Thanks 🙏👍
I LOVEyour style and tips❤
Thank you so much!!
Your videos are like much-needed therapy for me. If I could only internalize your relaxed, enjoy the process, do it the way that’s most enjoyable for you approach to art I’d be a much happier person. I tend to think that everyone else’s talent is greater, their approach or style superior, their finished product more professional etc. Not surprisingly that all leads to me feeling uptight and depressed and avoiding my pens and paper and pigments. Your videos are a wonderful reminder that this is supposed to be fun! Maybe I just need to binge watch you until that all sinks in.
Haha perhaps binge watching will help 😂 if it helps we all have those moments, it's just about recognition of how futile they are for me, and I'm sure you'll find your own answer too
Great video fabulous sketch thank you.
Thank you! Cheers!
Simply Lovely!
Thank you! 😊
What a lovely sketch. The subtle colour changes of the building washes is a great tip. So many tutorials say ‘do this’ and ‘don’t do that’ otherwise you’ll fail as an artist. Your tutorials are so chilled and about creating art for ourselves. It’s such a refreshing and relaxing approach. Breaking it down into clear stages really helps. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
I have taken up loose skething because of your fantastic videos. I have taken the next step to paint scenes onto fabric and use my sewing machine to mimic the loose ink...fab to combine the crafts resulting in unique handbags ......Thank you!!!!
Wonderful!
Thanks for the videos. It’s been an inspiration to loosen me up!
Glad to hear it!
I love it!
Your process and your intuition, make it pretty much full proof, which makes it much more fun! I love that!!
Thank you 👍🙏
One of my favorites! But I feel that way about so many of yours!,
Hehe thanks 🙏👍
Your relaxed style is fantastic, Toby. Makes art fun again. Love it!😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much 😀
Great! I am from Germany und I don’t understand every single word, but it is so instructive for me. Thank you Toby!
My pleasure 😁
I tried the single line drawing technique and it's my favorite result. I am a street artist & was a professional watercolor portraitist before I was targeted as a whistleblower blasting Epsteins partners-in-crime. I am getting back into practicing some form of art . Line & wash, ink & watercolor is the most practical for my current situation. I can make & store my art in sketchbooks. Keeping my pens & paint pallette in small sealed containers for easy dry storage. Blessings to you for helping us keep at it, see from different perspectives and keeping us inspired to create. 🎨
Just seen your comment, must be a difficult situation, best of luck to you for the future!
Love this one, Toby. Usually you’re simplifying complicated scenes but this is almost the reverse. Loads of colour layers - but not murky like mine!!
Awesome, thank you! I'm sure yours aren't too murky! I did a video on overworking colours recently if you want ideas on how to avoid this too
Дуже подобаються ваші роботи. Дякую за цінний урок ❤❤
Спасибо большое. Очень добрые слова.
Love watching you….did my first sketch of two men at a shooting range! One of the men asked to take a picture of it since he was in the sketch…..I gave it to him…….😊. Exciting for me
Awesome, well done 👍👍👍👍👍
I specially like this scene. It has a lot more loose details than your usual scenes. Love it!
Thank you very much!
You have such a wonderful gift of explaining what you're doing and why - thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much!
Thanks a lot, Toby...love this little sketch so much🥰
You’re welcome 😊
I'm enjoying the learning process, and find your narration why, while showing very helpful, thank you😊
You’re welcome 😊
I love how you draw it all. Great! Thank you for showing and explaining what you do. 🤗
My pleasure 😊
I love your cheerful sketches and paintings. And your enthusiasm for teaching your craft. Thank you. 😊
Thank you so much!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
What a beautiful sketch! Love the way you explain everything you do, and why you are doing it. Great video 😊
Thank you very much!
You are amazing, and I love your sketches!
Love the way you explain each step! Thank you! I just might try watercolor:)
You should!
Everything you sketch is fantastic. I learn lots of fun ways in which to present art, and the loose sketching with loose colors suits me very well. Thanks for another great tutorial!
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks so much for another great demo 😊
You are so welcome!
Looking good...
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you again Toby for this fun sketching session, I truly enjoyed this one ! Just for fun I used midori paper in my travelers notebook to see how it would react to watercolor, and I kinda like the wrinkly look of it ! 😂
Wonderful!
couldn’t finish the vid. After 8 ads I gave up
Ahh ok not sure why RUclips out so many in. Not something I have control of 😔
@@TobySketchLoose No worries. It was one of better vids. Thank you. Just frustrated that it was ruined by 8 ads and there was enough time left that I was afraid of having to suffer through a few more. I welcome ads on great videos but this was unbearable. I’m sorry. And appreciate the reply. You’re a great RUclipsr and an awesome guy, though. Keep it up please 😀
@@nathangiberson7403 I understand the frustration, but ads do enable creators to make content like these great tutorials available for free. I like to leave the ads running while I gather supplies or make a cuppa. Just a thought!
