Portable consoles are truly an art form of their own. I’m new to your channel, but I see you’re also knowledgeable about cloud gaming. I’m actively searching for a cloud gaming service since my old PC barely runs. I noticed your boosteroid video from last year-their current price works for me, but are there any interesting updates? It’d be awesome to hear your thoughts now!
Boosteroid works well if you live near a server cluster. I believe they have opened up more in North America since I had the video out. That was the biggest detriment to it from what I recall (input delay at times) Nvidia has their GeForce now which works quite well and has more options available, streaming at 120fps hdr etc. Xbox cloud gaming is pretty reliable these days now as well although not every game is available with their service. I would try not to go for a platform that requires you to purchase games solely on that streaming site. If you buy from steam or epic games and use that with Boosteroid/geforce you can play the games later on, with a dedicated pc The final considerations would be your home networking. I would say don’t bother if you don’t have reliable WiFi 6 throughout the home. As well, if you haven’t already, try to minimize any dead spots you may have at home. Cloud gaming while on the go is obviously dependant on your internet speeds but it can be done with a mobile phone connection if you have a decent plan. Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.
Very interesting, thank you for running all the benchmarks and providing side by side comparisons. I didn’t realize the Gpd could come in 64gb configuration honestly, which is stupidly overpowered. My Reatan Alloy 9 only has 32gb RAM and crushes everything I need want, and looking forward to playing GoW2018 and Ragnarok on it. Also a 780M iGPU.
No problem thanks for the comment!! I totally agree, never get a device with 64GB haha. The only reason I have this is because I did buy the win max 2 with 64gb and was able to find someone to do a straight swap trade for mine. 32GB is def all you’ll never need on a handheld haha. It’s nice that I can leave 16gb vram and use my egpu with plenty of memory to spare, don’t need to swap to get more than 16 back. Other than that though haha.. useless. Both GoW titles are super solid on handhelds! Hope you enjoy it when you get to it
Hi, I'm on the Ally Z1E with the new 1.2 update. Since I want to max my battery, Im on 720p with your optimized settings. VRAM to Auto and 10W TDP. FSR Quality, framegen and reflections on mid. Locked at 30fps. If I disable the lock it fluctuates between 30+ to 50-.
This video is totally worthless. Frame generation got the best implementation of this technology do far in the history od gaming. I play on Ally X - 1080p/FSR balanced/with mix of ultra, medium and low got average 82 FPS after 15h od playing the gamę. Frame generated 80+FPS feels way better than 30 or 40 which is just choppy. It doesnt work properlyn on 16GB devices and Deck - maybe that's the reason...
So how is it totally worthless? I don’t see any points made for that. And what TDP are you playing on when getting that. FG does not “feel” better at 80 fps as you are quite literally getting the same input delay as 30fps if not worse… it may “look” better which is what I think you meant to say, as it will make the image look smoother but doesn’t make a lick of difference for input delay to make it “feel” better. 30 or 40 locked especially in a solid game like this does not feel choppy. It will literally play the same as your FG image. So again I think you meant to say it “looks” smoother…. Totally works properly on these devices tested and with the settings shown, I’m assuming you’ve not watched the entire video because your ignorance is showing. Glad you get good perf on the Ally X as I suspected you would with my GPD 64GB. Have a great one, come back when you understand what you’re talking about :)

I would recommend disabling FG at low FPS ranges in my experience the artifacting in images is too great
@@WinDeckTech I`ll try that, thanks!
ngl, the bear punching gave me Chris Redfield vibes.
I did have a joke ready, after a dozen times I felt like I was the God of Domestic Violence instead of War.
Please upload god of war 3 60fps constant in rpcs3
Good idea!
