Awwwww!!! Enjoyed your Canada content when we were considering it. I look forward to your USA experience, may the Lord protect you and your family and help you adjust as quickly as possible 🎉🎉🎉
I've lived in New York, the US dollar definitely stretches far more. Especially when it comes to food and clothing, and in other states property. For cybersecurity you will be earning 3x more than Canadian professionals.
Thanks for sharing your experience, there’s people who will fight me on some social platforms when I bring this up. The U.S dollar gives way more than the Canadian one, it’s a bit frustrating to think about sometimes seeing these countries are so close to each other. I’m really excited about my shift into Cybersecurity 😁
I totally understand the financial part, as a South African who lived in South Korea 🇰🇷 currently based in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, I find this place to be extremely cheap compared to all the other countries that I’ve been to. With all that being said, I can’t wait to move back to SA next year.
Wow cc ,cha your blessed been to Singapore and Uzbekistan😳👊🏾you go girl. Home is something else though ,❤️🇿🇦❤️🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦All The best in your journey back home ❤️
You look beautiful Busi. I think your family made a good move. Having lived in UK & my brother in Canada, if I were to relocate - I’d only consider USA & maybe Australia. The UK gloomy weather is depressing. Canada is expensive & those long winters are not for me. The best thing about Canada is the ease of getting citizenship compared to other countries. You’ll enjoy your tech salary in the US 🎉 the pay is much more than Canada
Thank you 🥰 I agree on the ease of getting citizenship in Canada. I just wish they had a better plan for all the immigrants they've been bringing in because the cost of living there keeps getting worse.
❤❤❤❤❤ my sweetheart you doing well and very inspiring 🎉 and welcome to the USA 🇺🇸, when I moved here I noticed that the car insurance as well as health insurance quite steep
Wow the town tours actually sound like a good idea honestly I am just not entirely sure about the willingness to pay for the service but I think the essence of the idea is actually quite solid maybe, if someone wanted to do something similar and feel they can try to tweak it a bit in a way such that the small issues are fixed.
They definitely showed a different angle to locations and served people interested in moving to the place rather than the usual "top things to do when you visit" angle. They cost money to do, though, so they were not sustainable for me. They would need some kind of sponsorship to fuel them.
@@busi.global Yeah, point received. It just stuck with me because I had never heard of such before, it's definitely a new take on that type of content. I think in addition to sponsorship, another option to explore if you hadn't already maybe having a threshold for a particular location: so having a budget + your fee and then having all the people interested in relocating to that place pay a fee and once you have reached your budget + fee then you go ahead (or whoever's running the programme)- so crowdfunding basically. It would cost less per individual. Sorry for dragging this lol. Maybe someone else might consider exploring it further . Other than the finances it also does sound physically and emotionally taxing unless doing or full time and one actually is getting enough clients.
I've found it similar to having medical aid (in the context of South Africa). We've only done annual checkups so far and didn't have any nasty surprises.
Welcome yo the USA Busi.....really it is the best country in the world. Its just about where you decide to settle and your why. There are some places you go becuse of family life, while another person might decide to settle in another place for career oppotunities......the point is always your personal why.
Haven't seen you on my timeline in a while and this morning I see you. I don't know if you're a believer or not. Hoping you've prayed about the decision. All the best.
Yes, it is very important for people to do their homework and be careful of unscrupulous actors. Impressive stuff, having been through 3 countries. It would be interesting for you to maybe talk about the financial implications of moving between countries, and the tax complications. Indeed, we only live once.
Don't know if you're the Thato I've seen on the Chris Network channel and other S.A. religious channels? If it's the same person, please acquaint yourself with prophetess Celestial's (The Master's Voice Prophecy Blog) c-h-a-n-n-e-l and pray about that particular decision. Particularly the prophecies concerning the U.S. ausi. ❤
Thanks you 😊 not sure yet, but yes houses in the U.S generally make a lot more sense price and size wise than the ones in Canada 🥲 It’s wild to think that the average salaries for similar roles are usually higher in the U.S.
Hi sis Busi thank you for sharing this wonderful video. Me and my partner have been looking for a way to get into Cybersecurity can you please share if there is an institution to studying for it ?
It would depend on where you're based. Online short courses from institutions like Google can be a good place to start. Bootcamps are a great way to fast-track your learning, especially with all the hands-on projects you can work on.
Even many Canadians themselves leave Canada to go work in the US. Toronto cost off living isnt pleasant indeed, intario in general too cold and expensive. U should have tried Calgary Alberta more easy going city Oil driven and huge manufacturing city and living cost cheaper than the big cities off Canada not as fast as Toronto and Vancouver and Montreal just comfortable enough for raising family. Many educated Canadians leave Canada to work in the US i never understood why. Some Africans are in Edmonton but that city is fridge in winter. The social life in Canada is work home work and less play. It's different when u work in SA having a good job u get to enjoy being in SA as u would when working in Canada. U enjoy your car u drive, the lifestyle off working in a great job but in Canada u will always be worried.
@@sbusbebe3620 I’ve met a couple of people born in Canada that work in the U.S. but live in Canada. It makes better sense for a lot of people, which sucks for people who have no interest in leaving the country. Based off of a number of people I know who moved to Alberta then had to leave and go to a busier city because they struggled to find jobs, I would disagree with trying to live in Alberta. I’m also not looking to go into more extreme cold weather, Alberta is more intense than Ontario. I’m still doing similar things to what I was when living back in SA so I don’t relate to the “work-home-work” statement. Maybe my life in SA was what many consider “boring” 🤷🏾♀️ 😂 I’m a big advocate for people exploring and trying different things out to find what works best for them, we’re all different in our preferences after all.
@bullxtraders1366 I haven't had any terrible encounters living this side, thankfully! Also, I don't think there's a perfect place in this world. If there is there's people gatekeeping it 🥲 Living anywhere will have its own risks.
South Africa has the potential to become one of the greatest powers in the world and attract thousands of minds in all areas... people like you and Gayton Makyenzie can be part of it and be one of the speakers... take this experience to South Africa South.. There's health insurance in the U.S. that is similar to medical aid if you're familiar with it.
