You're right that many websites block failed login attempts after a few tries to prevent brute force attacks. This is an important security measure to protect users. However, the type of hacker I'm talking about is typically after large amounts of data, not just trying to break into individual accounts. They may steal a database containing user information, including passwords (which would be stored as hashes in a database for security purposes), which can then be cracked. Weaker passwords (like short, simple ones) are much easier to crack and are often targeted first. That's why it's so important to create strong, unique passwords. Even if a websites security is compromised, having strong and unique passwords can make it much harder for hackers to access your accounts.

The tests done only showed the vitamin deficiency I shared. What made you think to bring up an autoimmune disease?

@busi.global Not wishing it on you or anything, but persons with autoimmune disease usually have low vitamin d. I have an autoimmune disease and I have to take vit d and K2 to increase it. Of course not everyone who has low vitamin D would have an autoimmune disease.

@sandrabradley3703 Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something I should be asking my doctor to look into maybe. Was there something in particular that made them look into it for you? The tests they conducted only showed the Vitamin D deficiency for me. I shared what my symptoms were with them, and they ran a series of tests.

I've seen a number of people who were able to do it. They typically start with Network Admin or other similar roles before getting into cybersecurity.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve actually set up an encrypted Kali Linux virtual machine recently and have been exploring various tools on it. A lot of what I’m using now builds on things I learned in a bootcamp I just completed, so I’d definitely be happy to share some insights. Kali has a huge range of tools, so if there’s something specific you’re curious about-like penetration testing, digital forensics, or network scanning-let me know! I can tailor the video to focus on the tools or techniques you’re most interested in.

@@sbusbebe3620 I’ve met a couple of people born in Canada that work in the U.S. but live in Canada. It makes better sense for a lot of people, which sucks for people who have no interest in leaving the country. Based off of a number of people I know who moved to Alberta then had to leave and go to a busier city because they struggled to find jobs, I would disagree with trying to live in Alberta. I’m also not looking to go into more extreme cold weather, Alberta is more intense than Ontario. I’m still doing similar things to what I was when living back in SA so I don’t relate to the “work-home-work” statement. Maybe my life in SA was what many consider “boring” 🤷🏾‍♀️ 😂 I’m a big advocate for people exploring and trying different things out to find what works best for them, we’re all different in our preferences after all.

They definitely showed a different angle to locations and served people interested in moving to the place rather than the usual "top things to do when you visit" angle. They cost money to do, though, so they were not sustainable for me. They would need some kind of sponsorship to fuel them.

​@@busi.global Yeah, point received. It just stuck with me because I had never heard of such before, it's definitely a new take on that type of content. I think in addition to sponsorship, another option to explore if you hadn't already maybe having a threshold for a particular location: so having a budget + your fee and then having all the people interested in relocating to that place pay a fee and once you have reached your budget + fee then you go ahead (or whoever's running the programme)- so crowdfunding basically. It would cost less per individual. Sorry for dragging this lol. Maybe someone else might consider exploring it further . Other than the finances it also does sound physically and emotionally taxing unless doing or full time and one actually is getting enough clients.

I'm not a tax expert. The best thing to do is hire someone who is to help with them.

It would depend on where you're based. Online short courses from institutions like Google can be a good place to start. Bootcamps are a great way to fast-track your learning, especially with all the hands-on projects you can work on.
