What do you think about credit scores?
I am realizing that credit scores are really not that important. If a house lender or insurance lender, etc. wants me to stay in debt and show how I can pay it off is a pre-requirement for me to get a home or insurance, then they obviously do not align with my values of "Pay off everything, close all credit card accounts, and live a more free and simple life. Time to move on to someone else that understand that having no debt at all is better for them than me managing a ton of debt that I don't need. Thanks for talking about this. It reaffirms what I feel is better for my life.
I think credit scores are a rort and I guess I probably don't even exist on credit score reports anyway
I'm 31 and don't understand anything about it, I don't really have a score. I think neither bad nor good.... *Shrugs*
When the government that is 22 trillion dollars in debt and has the audacity to give me a credit score
The government doesn't issue credit scores. Instead, scores come mostly from three major credit reporting agencies: Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. While these agencies are highly regulated, all three are private companies and are not part of the government.
@@jhonnatanrit was just a joke, relax
Actually, 32 trillion. Which strenghthens your point.
LOL!! The government isnt giving the credit scores lol drama queen
@@Tony_Seed Yeah, now that youve been called out lol
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year.. Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life
That's awesome!!! I know nothing about investment and I'm keen on getting started. What are the strategies?
The first step in every successful investment is to establish your goals and risk tolerance, a task best undertaken with the assistance of a financial advisor with extensive financial market knowledge like Fergus Waylen
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing him been mentioned here also Didn't know he has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, i'm in my fifth trade with him and it has been super
YES!!! That's exactly his name (Fergus Waylen) so many people have recommended highly about him and am just starting with him from Brisbane Australia
I don't want to put a figure to how much i've made doing that but let's just say it's more than enough to make trading worthwhile. And when i say worthwhile, i mean it.
When 2 fave worlds collide; George and The Minimalists. Good chat
I've done manual underwriting before .. it works. Its just a little bit longer of a process.
Never had a credit card in my life, nor ever had anything on finance. I'd rented for about a decade and had a small (£7/$10k) student loan I was paying off, never missed a payment.
Had absolutely no issues getting a mortgage on a £165/$200k house.
So, did you have student loans or did you never have anything on finance? lol. Dont try to fool us like you have yourself
@@donjohnson1416 If you want to call student loans in the same vein as getting a car on finance, then you do you. Student loans and mortgages are a completely different kettle of fish to financing products.
Great job, George
3:15 A low or bad credit score means you’ve mismanaged debt.
I immigrated to the US from Germany and had no credit score at first, so they assessed me on my (no ex-)husbands credit score. I am just starting my journey to pay everything off, but I do think that I will hold on to my credit card for an undetermined amount of time since I am good at paying it off. I'm not sure if eventually I will close that card, but for now I am more focused on my bigger debts (car and house) before I worry about closing a card that works well for me for now.
Excellent work
I’m getting rid of all my cards I’m sick of giving money away
Great points btw. same in india as well
Thanks for the book promo......Peace
👍
