I always travel with compression packing cubes. It's been a game changer for keeping my things organized in my luggage and compressing my items especially if I'm using my small carry-on luggage.
Definitely agreed with the flip flops comment, but shower slides for me; great for the pool/beach, good for whatever nasties are in the hotel room/bathroom&showers just keeping the socks and feet clean, and works ok for a relaxed stroll outside to a bar/resto.
I travel a lot as a minimalist. On my last trip I took two new things: a second (fake) wallet and a book for the plane. The book was a simple mindfulness guide off amz called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels which I then left at the airport for someone else to read, and the second "fake" wallet was because I was visiting a relatively dangerous area and in case I was held up I could offer them the fake wallet with a little cash and an expired ID inside...I tossed the wallet when I got back. I try to take things that I can discard or give away at the end.
My travel bag as well as what I pack in it can change depending on where and when I’m traveling. However, one thing I always travel with is extra underwear. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve experienced a long delay or cancelled flight and needed an additional clean pair.
I travel with my eyeglasses and the prescription. I bring a list of my meds and the meds. I also bring underwear, sleepwèar, and my cel phone and charger. Accessories: colored pencils and sharpener, pen and mechanical pencil, book, sudoku puzzles, earrings, clothes, tooth brush and paste, etc. Tina, Al's wife
How is it that you’re releasing this the morning that I planned to fly cross country with nothing but 3 suitcases and two bags? I got rid of everything in my house. I somehow still feel like I have too much.
i feel the same when we take ANY trip that has us sleeping away from home. if there isn't a specific activity requiring any special gear, just dress up for four days but only using two pants and one shorts for the bottom(wear one set for departure) and wash every third evening. the three sets of clothes plus all the other accessories and 1qt bag of toiletries fit in a backpack.

Eye mask, ear plugs, earbuds.
Earplugs are essential for long road trips. No more head buzzing for hours afterwards.

You don't need to make a "stupid " face to get viewer's attention. Your title is plenty interesting. 😅
