Pro Tip: I’ve done many epoxy jobs with flakes and you want to throw the flakes in a upward motion. Close your hand with a handful of flakes and when throwing them up fully open your hand and throw them up close toward the ceiling. When they drop it’ll apply perfectly. Do not throw across or straight down at they will clump together. This looks great and a phenomenal transformation!
yeah bc these guys are amateurs right
@@TNAWWE Definitely not, just sharing my experience to help others. Good luck on your projects.
@@inspiringbuilds i understand, no biggie. but these guys are pro's themselves, i mean all they do is epoxy jobs lol.
@@TNAWWE Absolutely, tip isn’t for them as they turn out amazing results. The tip is for the normal DIY’er who hasn’t done this before. I’ve made the mistake early on and was disappointed with the result throwing down or straight out and wanted to help others as life is too short to not learn from others.
@lbialk Very true. 👍🏼
I did my 16 foot about 10 years ago with leftover garage epoxy really fast and am downright shocked how easy it is to clean. Easy to sweep or hose out. Very little seams for about 30$ of leftover epoxy. Was cheaper than painting w primer
I love the practicality in that Product, it stands alone in quality without even mentioning all the Beautiful options available. 💖
a trick: watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Grady Braylen yup, have been watching on flixzone for years myself :D
@Grady Braylen Yea, have been using flixzone for since november myself :D
Beautiful!
Turned out so BEAUTIFUL...
"BRAVO"
Thank you!🙌
Excellent travail 👌🏻
I love this video! It makes me feel like I can take on this epoxy project! Suggestion: perhaps add comments on the bottom of the screen saying what each step is and time to let cure?
I do have a few questions: 1. What are you using in the first step at the seams and filling the holes? 2. What’s the lowest temperature you can do this?
Thanks!!
I agree... This apparently is not a "How To" video... but love watching it...
So Relaxing... ASMR.
Que bonito trabajo 👍👍👍
Awesome looks great
They didn't show them scrapping the flakes for a smooth surface before applying the top coat, did they do it differently where they didn't need to?
Absolutely stunning!!
Dude. Soccer cleats while applying the epoxy? Big brain
YES... YOU have to have some kind of Cleats to do the application... I thought that was very smart of him...
Cool
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!
That looks great! Is the epoxy actually flexible enough to handle the stress of the wood flexing while loading, unloading and driving around?
It’s reported to with a lifetime warranty. Read my pro tip regarding the flakes if you do this project. Have a great day!
OOOOHHHH that is a great question!!!
I am watching this video because I want to do this to my Big Vintage RV...
wow🤩😍
I’m wanting to epoxy my she shed, will it crack after installing? Like if the wood were to move?
It drives me crazy when they dont talk about what they are doing and why..... Stone Coat Counter Tops beats them there....FRUSTRATING
The video is free to watch
I agree. I shut it off half way through. Would have been good informational video with NO music. A voice over lay explain what he was doing would have been helpful.
Its all the same process sealer , coat , clear , hardner ... dont over think it ...
Buy the products and you get access to some great step by step videos. Their products are as user friendly as they look.

"AMEN Brother... Amen"
That looks amazing I use my 6 x12 for pressure washing is this a good idea. Will it hold up from water leaking on floor?
Would this be a good floor to beat off on ???. Easy clean up ??????
I’d like to see it a year later.
If you had to take a piece of the floor up how would you get to the screws since you filled them with a material?
You can't , you're just fucked... Or rip up the entire floor I think this video is leaning me towards vinyl or rubber!!!!!
How is the floor holding up? I’m building out a 7x14 and wondering what to do with the floor
💖💖💖💖💖💖
What happens after you add the flakes and it dries? Do you just clear coat over all the extra loose flake? I am lost
YES... he shows that in the video...
They didn't record the scraping and vacuuming of the floor. After flaking the floor, scrape it, vacuum it (electric leaf blow it off) and then do the top coat.
@@Armor220
YES... That is a STEP that should have been shown...
Thank you for that very important part of this video...
You really masters guys, congratulations from México!! 🇲🇽
Agreed, turned out great!
How does it handle up to cold weather? With a snowmobile and dirtbike, will water be an issue making it slippery to walk on and down the ramp?
Can you guys please answer this. I definitely would love to know as well. Thanks in advance.
The flake itself provides adequate slip resistnace but you can add a product called Back-Track from Elite-Crete for additional slip resitance.
How about in tiles floors?
I know that's the flake floor kit, but can someone confirm which color that is? Did it also include the grit in the topcoat? I'm looking to do my brand new 7'x14' trailer exactly like this.
Autumn filter, and yes when you buy your kit you can choose an optional topcoat with or without the grit additive!
Y si el suelo en vez de madera es chapa metálica pegaría igual ?
Can I do this at my terrace?
How did it hold up with the flex of the trailer?? Is it cracking at all?
I want to know that answer toooooooooooo
@@judichristopher4604 I have had it on for about a year now, just don’t put the little paint chips on and it will be all good…. The paint chips make it harder to clean and they also chip off and make a mess
@@masterchef2408
How many coats of Sealer did you put on?
You did emurse it with Epoxy... all the chips should be Under the Epoxy.
Right?
@@judichristopher4604 I didn’t use any sealer, just the epoxy and you sprinkle the paint chips on top of the epoxy when it’s wet. I’m still happy with it. I don’t think you would need a sealer it you didn’t use the paint chips, but that would be all up to you.
Beautiful and done to perfection
Would it be an issue if it was done in a bathroom around a toilet?
I’ve put down epoxy flooring in bathrooms. Remove the toilet and it’s an excellent solution and easy to clean.
Those 2 spots in the middle of the floor he keeps missing is fucking with my OCD ... real badd !!!
BAHAHAHAHAHA... I was thinking the same thing... except I knew he would get it eventually.... which he did... Right? He did didn't he? LOL
Where is the kit on the website?
Being my floor is 3/4 treated plywood, would it still stick?
What has the thickness have to do if it will stick or not?
It is wood... It will stick... ... OH TREATED Plywood... Hum good question!!
IF you can PAINT Treated Plywood, which I think you can... Right then you can do this application too... (smile)
@@judichristopher4604 Can you paint treated plywood, I don't think the paint would stick.
Nice. First flake-coat I've seen somebody do with this brand. Can people still put accent colors with this type of epoxy coating??
How much height do you think that adds to the trailer looking to possibly do mine.
It really doesn't add too much height, especially depending on how thick you apply the product. Typically this process includes an epoxy coat, the flakes(which you scrape off the excess), and then a topcoat, so nothing too crazy.
Nice job. Did you have to clean the oil from the wood or just apply over it.
You would want to clean it as much as possible!
@@LeggariProducts how do you clean the oil up? Any tips?
Watch their other videos they go step by step
So..How much is the big question to do this job minus the labor of course. Please share
Can I do this in a camper?
Yes, I’ve installed similar product in homes, warehouses, and trailers. Campers would work fine as well.
@@inspiringbuilds
Good to know... Thank YOU.
Will like to use that clear epoxy straight on a truck wooden floor seee hw it comes
ASMR
I saw 4 liquids go down. And the grout coat was extremely sticky and slow curing.
Cost ??? looks costly
Would you like to do my 7x14’ trailer?
Looked great, want to share side affects, some epoxy’s will make you as high as a kite, two painter doing a bath room wound up beating each other up, took them outside sobered up in a minute went back in finished job no problems, did a kitchen for a lady, she watched started coming on to me, took he out to the garage she sobered up in a minute and left, her dad came over and wanted to know what was going on, told him I was doing epoxy and he left no problem. Was doing another kitchen with two painters, stoped by as they had just started home owner came in while we were putting it on, talked with each other like we were old drinking buddies in a bar, took him outside and apologized and told him to tell his wife I was sorry. Make sure you have proper ventilation.
Our epoxy has no harsh smells and is one of the most eco friendly resins on the market!
leg prods: you should CAPTION EACH STEP so that the viewer is informed about the process and if a person uses anything that contains ANY type of solvent, that person should be wearing a respirator to maintain the health of the brain cells that they might still possess.
Thank you
as much flake as this system takes, just dump it all out and run a leaf blower! that would get it EVERYWHERE!
That just might work thanks for watching!
Looks relly easy, but I know is not!
You can do it, just don’t rush the job. Applications like this just takes good prep work and patience working through the steps.
It is fustraiting when they don't put the products or the whole process I meant if I'm looking at it it's because I want to do it.
That’s not how you throw flake
very expensive product
You pay for what you get, and we are the best! Thanks for watching!
