I just got 6 gallons of the metallic epoxy and poured 2 bar tops at two local bars and it came out awesome! This product is great.
I am from Saudi Arabia .. I passed on the channel and found the true creativity in the work .. Thanks for this workmanship and excellence
That's just unreal how nice it looks.
Wow I don’t do floors, however really love your epoxy resin work. Beautiful thx 😊
I would love to see everything in the house all put back in place to see how the floor looks😊
One of your finest. Excellent job.
I always watch your videos guys amazing what you doing it's so amazing me and my son we learned a lot from you guys thank
Looks AMAZING‼️...I did one similar to this one a few years ago, I had a little more Black Veining on mine, but the subtle look actually looks a little better, great work guys‼️
Dit it ever crack?
@@trinityestrada9588 not that I'm aware of
You do amazing work. That floor is gorgeous.
It looks beautiful.
I wish they would answer some of the questions on this
Just incredible !
Really appreciate your videos... I’m always interested in knowing more about why you’re doing something, and why you’re doing it in the way you are. And problems, issues you might encounter during each step. Thanks!
Ya. A great video to fall asleep to.
Tu trabajo es unico.. Muy bueno..
Can you guys do or have a video explaining the formula for mixing and the timings between each applications, time to cure etc. It will much appreciated 😁.
Hi
needs to cure for 24 hours before each coat , or have to be hard enough not to leave finger marks if you touch it
most epoxy resins have a (A&B) two part mix A being the epoxy resin and B being the Catalyst/hardener.. most times it's a 2:ratio
The kit that I purchased has the etch going on first , the floor must be damp . They have A & B mixed together in a 2 gallon bucket, apply with a roller, throw the flakes in the air and that’s it . I’m puzzled !
So pleasing to the eye... great work I wish you travel
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB. JUST BEAUTIFUL ‼️👍👍. Vinny 🇺🇸
I have this kind of floor!!
Omg, I didn't know what products I could use to seal it or anything.
I had considered painting it.
But having a marble-looking floor is amazing
Is this DriCore R+?
Absolutely beautiful job I want to learn how to do this thanks for this great video
This is I wanna do for my whole house. I wish I can have some help with this. This is so amazing. I have been watching your videos for 7 months now. But very scared cuz I dont even know or attempted to rip out the carpet. I wish u were in Atlanta. I would love to do on my subfloor. But too scared....
AH-MAZING! Looks fabulous 👏👏👏👏
Thank you!!
Lovely!
AMAZ8NG! HOW CAN HE POUR A LIQUID ON FLOOR & THEN STEP N IT 2 SEC LATER & IT NOT SMEAR OR STICK TO SHOES N LEAVE A TRAIL?
I luv it!!
Your work is great! Is the type of epoxy you pour into the floor like the epoxy on the table? How much does it cost 1 liter?
That looks really amazing I would like to find out you have any paint for walls and countertops and fireplaces
Wow that's cool 👍✌️
Amazing!!!
Really nice 👍
QUESTION for Leggari Products... can you pour your epoxy resin floor directly onto the T&G subflooring? Or is a wood panel (like OSB or plywood) required, before pouring the epoxy?
Only asking, as we have 2" (technically 1.5" T&G subflooring from 1968) and wondering if we needed to put down some type of panel, or perhaps a membrane or underlayment first.
Thanks, any help is appreciated!
Beautiful !!!
Thank you!
Nice job
Beautiful work❤️It 🙂
Thank you!! We do too!🔥
The floor looks as beautiful as anything I’ve ever seen but I have to wonder, with those floor spans, there may be cracking.
WOW! This is awesome. Do you offer any hands on training?
wow 😮
I love your designs and work of art. Would love to send my resume to your company if you're willing to add one more manpower. Great to watch your videos. 👍
Where are you located. I may have a client for you.
Amazing..would love similar..can you tell me color an brand of cabinets?? Thank You!!🥰🤗
Always wanted White marble tiles either in my kitchen or spread to my living room floor can I do this at home
Exciting
I am really wanting to do a whole house set-up similar to this over wood subflooring on the upper floors and concrete for the basement.
Beautiful Idea! We highly recommend🔥
How much did it cost roughly
Hola buenas tardes.. Q laca se le pasaria para proteger el material una vez terminado??
Can this be done over 3/16th underlayment that’s over original wood flooring or has to be over osb plywood??
I absolutely love this video. I want to do something similar to this in my home. Just courious how much something like this would run in a 2000 square foot home. VC tile and concrete. Would love some info about this please.
To do it yourself would cost $7k+.. you can price kits on their website, but be prepared for sticker shock...
@@FJB2020 that is pricey for epoxy.. but cheaper than marble I guess.
No
Is epoxy or acrylic a better choice for painting wood subfloors?
The kilz primer is used on subfloors to encapsulate asbestos (eg glue that can’t be removed without damaging subfloor). It definitely wouldn’t make sense to try to sand it off…
Have been researching if I can do this in a remodel. How do you overcome the flexing of the wood flooring in order to prevent the epoxy from cracking?
If you email our head tech he can let you know how you would go about this! His email is cody@leggari.com
Beautiful 👏🏽 can you guys come to Nigeria 🇳🇬
Looks nice.
Thank you!🔥
How good is this for vinyl asbestos tile? No need to scuff up the tile?
Excellent job, can you apply the product straight over ceramic tiles?
Yes if you grind it and fill in your grout lines
Need this !!!!
Get your kit today at leggari.com!
Awesome!
Glad you think so!
Wow
Aight i need y'all to come do my house
Thats cracking for sure
How? Explain
Yet to see you guys do a video, using your products over ceramic tiles?
Very cool system, however, cracking is obviously going to happen.
Any warranty on the product for cracking, lifting etc.?
It won't crack the top coat is very resistant
I have a question..i have an osb as my floor base .i was first thinking laminate floor.but now i want this.tge problem is .in some spots is kinda wobbly..is this ok or should i put another layer of plankwood to make it more sturdy.
Could i use TX3 instead instead on the patch paste
You do great work and you make it look easy. I'm sure there are other colors I could use. How easy is it to blend from section to section? More continued success to you!
I have a 30 sqft space I want to do over wood sub floor what do you recommend your just start at 250 sqft
Was there any prep work to the floor b4 the primer?
Hello is there a way to get an idea on getting a floor done i am learning this but if i can have a pro do it its better
I have a studio plus the lanai to do
thank you
Actually if prepped correctly it makes a solid floor ... I did this over wood floor over 8 years ago .... No cracks yet ......Im in Florida ....no extreme weather changes
I'm wanting to use a clear epoxy over a plywood floor, but I don't want to paint it, I want to burn the grain, sand and light stain it...do you think the stain will seal the wood enough or would I need to use some type of sealer first? and then the epoxy on top...
@@GettingOffGridwith12Dogs well Sir I did this over red cedar... I didnt stain it ...I just wanted a hard epoxy floor over this beautiful wood.... In florida we really don't have drastic weather I.E. NO SNOW LOL ... Im not a professional just a home owner.... My floors are beautiful no issues ... No cracks no hazing or cloudy color just breathtaking.... I have plywood under the cedar? With believe it or not a layer of tar paper between the plywood and the cedar. ....so I have over 1000 sq ft of beautiful red cedar floor.... I chose epoxy because it is harder that polyurethane ....Cedar is in the soft wood category ....so epoxy clear epoxy was used for durability and added strength ..... I get remarks all the time on how beautiful my living room hallway and 3 bedrooms are... I must say like you I was not sure how it would come out.... But I had a lot of money in my solid cedar millworked flooring... I knew I need to protect it with something stronger than polyurethane.......
@@GettingOffGridwith12Dogs I also must say In my opinion only ...there are a lot more chances for this to crack I would think but it hasn't..... This is one inch thick by 6 inch wide cedar installed over plywood with a tar paper moisture barrier .... So that epoxy went into or in between each cedar floor piece.... As I think I have more joints because this is actual wood flooring .... Just my thought ..... If it was going to crack it would have done it by now ....we applied it in a pour and moved it over the floor just like these guys are doing.... Its just clear thats all .... Im very happy I spent the money on clear epoxy protection on my floors....
@@cindyscarlett3687 thanks...that's exactly what I wanted to know...I think I will try it as well...your answer is very much appreciated...we're building a semi-modern home in Peru...where the climate is consistent all year...so this should work for us as well.
Yes I think it should be beautiful. I found It is much harder than polyurethane. Its thicker . My husband and I worked it together. I will say Im happy its is harder and thicker. God Bless and just go for it. Its clear and it will make you wood beautiful. I love the burnt plywood. I dont think I have seen it with stain. I just know this really came out better than we hoped for and its been almost 9 ten years and people just love our floors..... They will love yours to ..... Easy cleaning ... Swifter dust once in a while I mop . We love our floors ....
I have a hard wood floor, how can i apply epoxy?
Do i have to apply primer? if so, any specific type?
Can you show me the steps. I suppose i need to clean the hard wood floor thoroughly
How can i remove epoxy from hardwood floor if it wont give me the result i want ?
(in your previous video about countertops it was more clear on what you r doing but this one, it doesn't follow through )
Can this be done overtop 1980 hardwood flooring.
The sealer dulled the finish. Can a person stop right before the sealer so they can have the high gloss look ?
To do a similar job, what materials do I need and how much do I need to buy materials? Thanks
I would be interested how much I should expect to pay for a project nicely done like this one? I am in northern VA.
Where do I buy the flood coating or does it come in the kit?
Where do you get the cleats for your shoes? I may have missed seeing that if you listed it already...
They actually just wear baseball cleats.. you can get "real" cleats on Amazon.
For my taste, I would have added a smidit of light gray so the marble effect be more realistic. But the job is beautiful.
Do you slip less in the Baseball Cleats apposed to Spiked slip ons?
Do you do anything for the edges of the floor to keep the epoxy out of the walls?
I think the epoxy and paint are phobic off one another so it comes off on its own
How much Patcher Paste is needed to fill/scratch coat 1500 sq.ft?
Can you put this epoxy floor over hard wood flooring? If the hardwood flooring have wax on it do you have to make sure all the waxed is removed?
Video says they sanded the floor first
It’s definitely beautiful my only concern is with the daily traffic and all... how durable is this floor?
It should hold up providing they have the proper thickness of wood to negate any flexing that could potentially happen. Not sure if they use it, but I've threw fiber glass into the floor and also used a flexable epoxy as well.
Extremely durable. I have epoxy flooring and have tried to damage it on purpose. Nope. Epoxy is a very hard substance. That's a 25 yr floor, and very low maintenance.
How long does a epoxy floor last??
Do you stock your epoxy in the uk?
Fabulous. How long dose the floor last before it needs re doing. Are you wearing football shoes?
Usually it's good for lifetime but still it depends that how roughly the floor has been used , Usually it's easily good for 20-30 years
That is an extraordinary transformation with a great finish. My question is: min 1:34 Left side of the screen, them 2 boards don't look like t&g . Would your product be strong enough not to crack over a loose board ? or would be safer to set a second layer of osb or plywood to increase floor rigidity ?
Im going to leave a comment, because i watched 3-4 seconds of the video, and already wanted to leave a comment asking the same question. I would have to assume that the cracks will appear within a year. Shrinking and expanding throughout a few seasons. I will be suprised if your comment is answered...
Edit-
Im willing to bet the claim here is that the subfloor becomes "stabilized" with the prep coats of epoxy. Thats it from me. Hopefully legari replies to your comment, as im interested in this kind of work(i do a decent amount of flooring, also painting, and this type of thing is right up my alley.
I am curious about the answer to this as well.
I was wondering about this too....to replace old tile in my foyer. However, don't people use epoxy on garage floors? Do they crack or is that different because it's not as large of an area?
I've been curious, how would I go about taking it off, if in ten years I wanted to put in something different?
SO you add primer first and then epoxy and then seal? What happens if the floor is originally concrete? do you seal the concrete first and then add primer and then add epoxy and then seal again?
You sand the concrete till it’s smooth and then after sanding and making sure there’s no dust on it you prime it, epoxy it, seal it.
Would this work in a mobile home?
That looks like a mechanics house now who never takes their shoes off.
How come you dont roll the swirl lines instead of using the squeegee creating ridge lines?
How does it hold up? Durability?
How much would this cost vs vinyl planks?
What kinds of shoes are you using? It does not look like normal spike shores more like football or soccer shoes ?
I see you applied your epoxy in the kitchen and dining room will the floor be slippery with water spills like it is with actual marble or does epoxy have a grip to it?
you can add things to add grip but typically it is slippery when wet. just clean up a spill right away though.. water beads on these surfaces
I have an epoxy floor in my kitchen and it can get a little more slippery than something like tile, but it's not really bad all all. A lot less slippery than I thought it would be. But it's fun to slide around on the floor in just your socks!
Does it have a strong odor?
HELLO!! combien le coût au M2 ??? MERCI
How do you prep the floor
Can you do this epoxy floor on a concrete floor with the same products or it works only in wood floor?.
Epoxy works great on concrete as well.
As steven said. It works great on concrete but it's worth the money to have the surface professionally prepped.
Plywood.. okay… what about HARDWOOD FLOORING? Is it possible? Should I put self level concrete first or just fill in the cracks and be done with it?
If the wood were not primed at all would you just skip a primer all together?
How many square feet was this job and how many gallons of epoxy was used here???
Can you do it in a mobile home
Absolutely amazing. How much would you say that floor cost ... labor and material?
More than it should.. pricing out a kit on their website would lead me to believe this was over $6k in materials...
