Thanks Mark! I appreciate the kind words, I guess it helped working in my dad's transmission shop since I was a teenager! I took it to the local hobby shop's indoor course for a test and will be working on getting that video out next!

Thanks Brent! I had been wanting to do an OD gear swap for some time and this gave me the perfect excuse, LOL! I'm anxious to see how it does on some of those toughest climbs for sure!

Ouchy those pinch moments always make me hold my breathe. With grippy tires too lot of friction to find something to give.
Great move! Love the explanation of all of it!
    🍻✌️👍

That awful, awful sound! It's my number one biggest hobby frustration since getting into RC trucks. Can't tell you how many times I have taken apart AR44 axles by both Axial and SSD, trying to fix it, probably close to 100. My SCX10ii RBK started doing it within its first year, so did my Element Trail Walker. I replaced the rings and pinions in both and got another year out of them, before more clicking and slipping again. I sold the Element and bought SSD gears for the 10ii. Got two years (YAY two years) out of those and now they are slipping too. Also slipping like that inside my SSD AR axles. Thanks for sharing and I hope your problems are a thing of the past.

I hope I can get some time out of these too but seeing as I went with a super budget set I'll probably not see as long as you did. This is the first time I've experienced the slippage so I'm pretty lucky those stock SCX10II gears lasted as long as they did. I'm really looking forward to see the performance now and will be pushing it just as hard as before! Thanks for watching brother!
