I can't say enough how amazing it is to have Metallica still rocking out after so many years, us fans are lucky to have them around!!!
Truth
Yeah! me too Amazing.
I’m lucky to be their fan 🤣🤘🏻
Absolutely!👏🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻
In the early to mid 80s I was part of a circle of metalheads that all loved Metallica. Today I am the only one of them that still love Metallica and stuck with them through their entire career. All the rest of my friends started pissing and moaning about how (as they put it) pussified Metallica got after Puppets. A couple of them even refused to ever listen to anything after Justice. They wouldn't even give any of the albums after that a chance. I never saw it that way. IMO they just got better and better and still get better and better! It's a shame those guys are still missing out on a lot of phenomenal work Metallica has released in the past 30+ years.
1983: original speed
1989: just fucking fast and brutal
2019: original speed
Nothing wrong with original speed though
Jesse Bergquist put on 1,25 Speed and sound like the savage years😎
It's slower now
2025: just fucking fast and brutal
Bro, they are like 60 years old, and has been playing for almost 40 years always full of energy, don't you think that they have the right to play THEIR OWN SONG THE WAY THEY WANT TO PLAY IT?
it's still faster than the original
"Do you know Kill `em All, baby?"
Hell yeah!
Kocham ich.
YEAH-HEY-YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Dorota Halacz Też
@@macdonald715 o co chodzi z tym, że dużo ludzi (fb, yt) zmienia profilowe na postać z lego Star Wars?
my favorite album personally
Yeah! They played the fkcing 3rd verse🔥🤟
Casperawh there’s an awesome behind the scenes tuning room video laughing about the third voice being added back in
@@jord9261 link??
@@bcobesi44 It's probably a tuning room video perhaps?
A miracle!
After 23 years, it's back.
We never stop. Never quit. 'cause We Are Metallica \m/
Metallica: James and Lars.
So glad James is coming back very soon! The world needs him with his voice, his words, his thoughts! A great personality..
What source are you referring to? I haven't heard about his return
Wojciech Lysko he’s been out of rehab since late November or so. He will be at a car show or something like that soon
@@caribou224 He hasn't been out since late november. Show your proof
James Stephens sorry meant to say it was rumored that he’s been out since November but hasn’t made any appearances
SOURCE please?
Acting like a maniac......
*WHIPLASHHHHHHHH*
Who's got the first album?
*silence*
Who's got the album Kill 'em All?!
*wooooo*
Same thing, d**ks!
That’s funny
It was khaki pants Raleigh people, can’t expect much from a place with so little to offer
Haha
That's my little Metallica-niac in the background at the 50 second mark! She was like that all night long. 16 years old and sang every word to every song they played that night; both new and old. At the end of the night, after the picks were thrown into the crowd, James came to our side of the stage, bent down and handed his armband to the security guard and had him give it to my daughter, Grace. I've never seen her so happy. Made my heart feel like it would burst with excitement for her. An incredible night I will never forget. This was our 4th Metallica concert together, Grace and me. Sadly, it would also be our last. My daughter, at the tender age of 17, died by suicide in November of 2019. Some have expressed concern over the fact that she was obsessed with Metallica as playing some role in her taking her life, but those ppl obviously didn't know my child at all. Some of the best memories I have are of her and I jamming to Metallica in the car or attending their concerts. For years she literally wore a Metallica shirt every day. Looking back, I wouldn't have had it any other way. This band was a bright spot in her life, of that I'm certain. I am thankful for all the memories I have to hold on to now. RIP, my Grace. Hope you are rockin' the heavens and I look forward to joining you someday.
Metallica Rocks!
May your daughter rock on! She's hearin Cliff up there, no doubt about that. Beautiful story, thanks for sharing!
3:07 the moment you were waiting for
Oh shit! That was exactly what I came here for!!
Damn, i thought it would've been a Dickrash. Nice bait, man
mmm, what?
@@sendarium back in old days James used to scream "Dickrash!" at 3:07. I thought, Benoit Cordier meant dat
@@helsirBut I still shout it on my own while listening to this! :D
After listening to Whiplash from Seattle 89 so much I can't listen to it at its normal tempo anymore.
Good thing you can just make the playback speed ×1.25
With Jason this song was beast at live!!!
I agree. Even hearing the album version is weird now. Time sure is a son of a bitch
I totally agree
Try listen to their live 1986 whiplash its faster than seattle
1:37 i died XD
01:54 cant believe he can still do these kind of screams
I miss their aggression from the early days, 90s, and early 2000’s but they still kick ass!!
Fansee 13 I am a huge Metallica fan but they are old and that’s fine. Watch them perform this song in the 90s or 80s it’s just not the same. But it would be impossible to sustain what they had for 38 years.
Panthera Metal he’ll yeah they do but it’s hard to be stone cold killing machines for that long so I’m never gnna complain about a metallica performance
The THIRD VERSE is back!
I can say JAMES IS ONE OF THE MOST
BRUTAL RYTHEM PLAYER IVE EVER HEARD
2:55 Unexpected Double Bass from Lars
rofl at this point all double bass is unexpected
3:09 lowkey was waiting for D*CKRASH! haha
Joona Parviainen sounded like he said it, I know he used to but hard to tell now lol
Every time a song is played from kill em all feels like the soul of Cliff is being summoned
That muted galloping is like heaven
Thanks to metallica if the guitar plays. Metallica forever
I live about 2 hours away from Raleigh, I'm now extra passed at myself for not going. This is my favorite song
3:20 real goosebumps
this is the opposite of the 1989 Seattle show where they played it nearly double speed, this feels like 0.85 speed. Still fast and somehow heavy \m/
No shit it's slower than 1989. They were full of coke and Jack danial back then They are lucky to be alive and still rocking. Everyone always says Lars has lost it, you try banging on drums that hard for 30 plus years and you would be lucky if your arms would still function. Great job Metallica keep rocking
@@genoortega7992 they never did coke but ok
You say NEVER! What about the famous lyrics Chop your breakfast on a mirror. LOL.
I believe I've heard Lars and Kirk admit to doing drugs on Their documentary.
@@genoortega7992 yes but that was during the load/reload era. Almost 10 years after that concert. And those experiments only lasted a week or so if i'm correct
@@genoortega7992 the lyrics to MoP were inspired by what they heard from drug addicts and also the obvious parts of an addiction
“Kill em All” through “...and Justice for All” - Metallica was unstoppable during this era. Best thrash band of the 80’s...and I don’t take that lightly, as I am a huge Slayer fan, and also feel Megadeth “Rust in Peace” is a close contender for best album. But this stretch was unsinkable for Metallica.
Kill em and AJFA kicker so much ass
MoP and Rtl are killer as well but AJFA is brutal their technical peak they just crushed it, especially on dyers eve
that stretch was the unstoppable force of Metallica!
How do you include till 1993, there black album your was insane
Right when it kicks in, you can hear Lars try to speed up the tempo @ 0:48
Lol
Ikr, I was like "Woah Lars, wtf you trying to do?"
With Jason this song was so fking beast at live!!!
James is really trying hard to get that old 90s voice back
Not really tho, what you're hearing in this video is more like the 80's if anything
Whiplash in its full state in 2019...... bring on Manchester
I NEED to hear this song live
I love this song!!🖤🖤

Best.Night.Ever couldn't believe I finally got to see my all time favorite band. Was right down in front. They killed it and their stage show was amazing
Whiplash!!!♥️
Me: You can’t make a Les Paul with a Bigsby sound heavy!
Hetfield: *Hold My Rehab*
Please please please I beg of you to play this next time you’re in New England. Love you guys and can’t wait to see you again

One of the best all of time live songs acting like a maniac whiplash!
WHIPLASH IS THE LIFE!
Certified Icons!!!!!
All We Are Metallica Everyone
Love this mid 90’s feeling they deliver here. They should play everything a bit slower. Most of their songs get much more momentum that way.
No shit. I obviously talk about mid 90’s live performances of this song. Go watch one from 1996.
And yes, most of their songs is much heavier when played slower.
This fast tempo is so cool!
🤘
Yeaa metallica
pure rock baby
Obrigado Metallica por fazer parte da minha infância, vocês foram a minha primeira banda de rock que curti, isso quando eu tinha 8 anos de idade.
Nice 🤘
Nice version...!!!! James is back!!!
They were so fucking good
Metállica rules!!!!
‘We’re Gathered Here To Maim and Kill And This Is What We Choose’ 🤘🤘
They are Metallica and they will never stop.
First few months 2019 was hella good shows!
Their stage presence at this age and seen them live many times................Metal owes Metallica huge accolades.
Awesome only this word
Very good 🎸💿 ☝ Album
I love the older versions, trust me
But its so fucking fast it's harder to appreciate the song
At this tempo, full song is enjoyed
I fucking LOVE IT
Good 😮

Kill Em All can never be matched
Awesome 80s tone out there 😃
Headbanging song!
Great rendition of this tune!
Four of the Coolest 'Dads' Ever!
💥Fire 🤘
Hell yeah I know Kill em all, they being in Raleigh NC where I first saw them in concert 1997, Its. Was the best concert on third row getting whiplash😎gimme fuel that's the one song gave me a neck ache for a week, but proudly wore my concert t shirt that is now that shirt about 25 years old I only wear it now on just a special occasion, then it gets archived for another year. Been a fan for 35 years , garage days!!!
