I've been a death metal listener for 24 years and been exposed to extreme rhythms and double kicks countless times. But whenever I hear Lars pulling these DK parts off successfully, I somehow feel happy and excited as a kid, as if listening MetallicA for the first time. =D

I would lose my fucking mind if I saw them play this live. This is probably my all time favorite Metallica song. It’s NON STOP aggression. I love the way they performed this too. Lars with the DK is very satisfying to hear

I'm happy that Metallica has so versatile catalogue behind them. The live shows are filled with many different gems: old school thrashy stuff from Kill, Ride and Master, rather progy thrash from Justice, classic heavy-rock stuff from Black, Load and Reload and even something very different like from St. Anger!
Why are there some people that say this was a filler song? It's awesome and fits in the album pretty good

The day AJFA came out, I heard Metallica for the first time, by the time Shortest Straw and Harvester of Sorrow played on that first CD spin, I "got it". I have been an unrepentant die hard MetallicA fan since.

You guys have so much material and so much good music to draw from like you said you guys were the best heavy metal band known to mankind. You have so much material to draw from why do you need to do new stuff if it's not coming to you artistically and creatively stick with what you know, do what you do.

That "countdown thing" Lars does right before the vocals of verse 1 (he skipped it there =)) and 2 kick in is just what makes his kind of drumming so damn nice. It may be relatively ´simple´ but it sets highlights!
