Had a No crank No start 2007 Lucerne CXL (72k miles). No circle around the PARK on instrument cluster. No communication to PCM(which is a ECM and TCM) / ABS module with Autel Maxisys. Cleaned grounds and installed new battery. Pulled black round plug (squeeze and pull straight out) going to transmission under MAF sensor area . Cleaned and applied dielectric grease. Started up!! Complete communication to all modules and no codes. Plug looked a little damp but nothing real obvious. Passing on the info!
I find this vid hilarious because I am also currently sitting in a Walmart parking lot and my 2007 Buick LaCrosse wont start for basically the same reasons
Having the exact same issue right now man, ended up getting a boost and started right up and drove er home. Once I went to start it up the next morning it did the same thing..
@@liluziburnt7678 hopefully your issue is only a shitty battery cause mine ended up being a lot worse. I had to replace a part in the CPU of my car cause the ignition was sending error codes to the cars CPU and it ended up costing 2k.
It's got a safety cut out only when your fuel is low it won't start you can run a wire from your crank sensor on your hot side who touch you outside of the post under the hood and then start with turn your key on
Will the car pass inspection if light is reset right before go fit re inspection assuming computer doesn't find error code again within that driving time?
My Buick rendezvous has a new battery gets power then all of a sudden when I turn the key to start it to crank and turn over all power is lost and I have to unhook and hook up battery to get battery power back again but won’t turn over
I have a 2014 Buick lacrosse. Mine would play the same game everything seemed fine and then it just would not start. Mine was the security system did not recognize the key fob and thought I was trying to steal the car. I opened up the manual key in the key fob and inserted it into the passenger door lock and turned it back-and-forth for a minute. This seemed to reset the security system. I also have a problem where the car would just play dead. I asked for a jump opened up the hood. When I touched the battery case the car comes back to life.
@@peterl6095 yes i aggree on ECM ,but the po23f code says open on fuel pump ,so i am concentrating on finding the short to ecm and open wire to secondary fuel pump right ?
The Check engine light flashes fast because the condition is serious. Are you getting a Crank no start or a no Crank no start? Blown fuse to ECM means that the car won't be able to communicate with the cars computer and it keeps blowing because there is a short somewhere.
@@peterl6095 wish you were on the side of me helping pal , when button is pressed you will barely hear one faint low click kindda ,but no crank at all and def no start ! thank you for all you do brother ! im about to go outside and place a jumper wire in the crank relay to make starter turn over ! this will tell if starter is good and engine is not locked up !

Mine don't even do that the horn don't even blow
did you try a code reader ? my 2011 is now doing same thing but my check engine light flashing fast ,keeps blowing fuse to the ecm computer .
You have a short somewhere.

No prob man. Prob the way to go to eliminate the starter. Relays, fuses, bad ground...
