Get your anti theft deterrent system checked by an alarm specialist. It causes a parasitic draw to the battery that causes it to send a signal to the pcm to lock the starter from engaging the ignition to start the car. My 2010 Buick has been doing this shit for years.
@@cassiejohnson6522 I had an electrical short. Corrupting my ecm I need to replace it now because the reprogramming of it didn’t work out for the other systems in the car. So most likely the ecm is starting to go bad if that’s the case for you. Best case scenario go to a locksmith and program and delete keys in the car’s memory
I have a 2015 regal I been having issues recently It just clicks but it dosen't turn over Everything works electrically I just see a message about anti theft Then i keep trying and turns over eventually. You think I have a similar issue?
@@jmart-z7992 sounds like it. Honestly Buicks have a notorious Ecm problem and wiring issues. If it’s electrical get that ecm/pcm checked and do voltage testing to see where the short is. Most of the time it’s a faulty ecm.
@@jmart-z7992 for the anti theft I took it to a auto locksmith to reset the theft system. That worked for me. Still have issues but it’s due to my short on the ecm wiring harness that I still can’t find

My battery died and my key wouldn’t come out either got a new battery and it worked it could be the crankshaft sensor
