- Another chat with my good ol' godfather Daniel, once again on the topic of training to achieve a particular physique vs. training to be the man God made you to be.

That's exactly the advice David Goggins gave - be the best you that God intended
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us sinners, make sure we don't idolize the pursuit of health and strengthening of our bodies
Preyz Gord Jesus and the Holey Script-Yourz
This video was sent to me via the Holy Spirit - I desperately needed to hear every word. Saved to (all-time) favorites. God bless you both.
definitely thought provoking. And letting the silt in the murky waters settle at the bottom
Glory to God. :)
Man I feel like I totally treat fitness as an idol. But I’ve had such extreme injuries that I have to revolve my life around it.
As an Orthodox Christian, in my humble opinion, we should struggle in all aspects of our life; Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I believe being physically fit is a good platform, especially in these times with life's demands. To what degree one exercises his body I suppose depends on his ministry ie. I could be Martha or Mary, the Deacon or the Priest, The Evangelist or the Ascetic.
Question is, what's your purpose.
Yes, good point
Classical military exercises are the best .They combine cardiovascular fitness, strength but not excessive and also flexibility is usually included.Special forces type training are possibly the best for long term health benefits. Looks very secondary it's what you can do that counts.
That's the exact content I was looking for. I had the same doubts.
Thank you I love this channel you guys are doing a great thing thank you 🙏🏽
Lift stones so that you can carry The Cross!

3,500 is a great time to be the change we so desperately need to be able to make it to where youtube is now and has forgotten who we are all eternal but damn we coulda been running shit right now nd getting away from the toxicity.... the Holy spirit I seen celestial realms and felt the interconnectivness of everything and everyone so simple yet so incredibly articulately crafted to such pure perfection even in what seemed like imperfections it was truly perfect such a magnificent universe I seen before me I realized that the life I had been living was not necessarily a lie but I seen through the construct that was built by whoever THEY are with little to no knowledge of anything of the sort of divine being that you will only understand through time experience and realization from yourself that you will only understand through time experience and realization from yourself that you will only understand through time experience and realization from yourself that you will only understand through time experience and realization from yourself that you will only understand through time experience and realization from yourself that you will only understand through time experience

Christ is Risen 🔥☦️☦️☦️🔥
What did he say at 6:44?
He said we need to “kill” ourselves to get to Communion. Guess it had to be censored because RUclips doesn’t like phrases like that, even if it’s said tongue in cheek in particular context.
Flexible is more important than added strength....allow chi / spirit / prana to flow thro better. Dense, heavy, stiff.....no need.....it's "make up for men."
Give up these pagan beliefs and accept Christ's salvation
@@waykiwayki mobility is of utmost important. What good is flexibility if you can't easily move in and out of those ranges.
@@christochristovlebg4382 chi/prana are Chinese beliefs not pagan. We can be judgemental we just need to do it properly.
@@JimmyJones-w3pYou would just need both. To be flexible and have strength.
@@christochristovlebg4382 Flexibility isn't pagan.....Jesus never went to gym or tried to gain muscle. Essenes, Taoists, Rishis...all lean and flexible.
