My 2008 JK was CONSTANTLY falling out of first gear. Watched all the videos about the synchronizers needing to be replaced (which made no sense at all). Then I saw your video and thought what the hell and got the B&M shifter. What a difference. Been driving it for four months now with no more first gear issues. I will say that I was able to remove the foam isolator without dropping everything underneath. But what a product this shifter is. 100% recommend to anyone having ghost shifting issues.
It's been over a year since I watched your video but I finally bought one and installed it a few days ago. No more popping out of gear. One of the best mods I've done yet. Thanks for the video
I used a strap wrench to remove the shifter knob on my JK. Worked like a champ and took less than 30 seconds. Just in case anyone watching wants to try this.
autoedit any of your rigs have on-board air compressors ? I'm looking to mount a tank on the frame of my f-150 and converting the air conditioner compressor to run it ( just cuz I'm cheap & I don't want a bird's nest of wires to manifest it's way under my hood ).
Just bought a 2013 2D jk last night and I’m glad the algorithm showed me your channel! I had a ‘92 bright yellow YJ back 4 years ago and it feels good to get back in the family. Love your channel
I’ve wanted this for my TJ awhile now. Might have to finally pull the trigger now that you’ve confirmed it’s awesomeness. Love the “man pedal” remark 🤣
What an awesome upgrade that most jeep owners don't think about! Get that thing feeling like Large Marge! Thanks for the shout out and glad youre diggin' that pull to Eject sticker!
After watching this video I had to get one and O MY GOODNESSES it’s awesome I love it!!! Thank you brother for sharing this product I highly recommended it to whoever has a Jeep
I drove a 55 CJ3B when I was a kid. You had to keep your knee against the shifter while off road to hold it in gear. 60+ years you think jeep would have learned something. Great videos!
I test drove the new JL with the 6 speed manual and it is much tighter and the throws are really short. Almost feels like my old Mazda Miata did, really sporty. Great upgrade for the JK guys!
My apologies if this question has already been asked and answered. Aside from the foam isolator, do you think there would be enough clearance to get the shifter in place without dropping the whole transmission 3 inches? Because that seems like a ton of work just to reuse a $20 part. I think I’d rather just invest in a new one before starting the install then cut the old one out. That way I can skip that whole ‘drop the tranny’ thing.
I finally got this installed and I love it!! it was a little pricey but it is well worth the price. Solved my issues with my gear shifting. Thanks AutoEdits
I received the shift lever first and put it on. To remove factory knob easily I used a ball joint separator tool. (Looks like a tuning fork) After removing trim rings. Slip it over the shaft. Tap upwards with a medium size hammer. It pops right off. When driving I noticed less flex in the shaft. I like it already and I haven't even put the other part on. I also will get a better idea of the difference between factory and B&M linkages.
I bought my jeep used and it came with this shifter. I took it in to a buddy thinking there may be something wrong with it and his face lit up when he drove it. He new it was a new short shifter I just lucked out! Definitely takes some getting used to but in love with it.
After having my 2007 JKU Rubicon pop out of first gear for several months, I broke down and ordered this shifter. To say I am pleased with the results would be an understatement! Nearly a month after the new shifter install....not one pop out! The install was easier for me. I was able to get the shifter in without lowering the cross member and\or lower the trans. Much more secure and positive shifts with no vibrations. It is now more fun to drive my '07 with 110K on the clock. If anyone is having the same issues, give this B&M shifter a try.
So this mod solved your issue of first gear pop out? I have to hold mine in first gear (or else) and since they don't sell the fix anymore, I thought I might try this before going to a new transmission.
Yes, it did. It has been nearly a month as my daily driver with no pop outs of 1st gear since install. I also read that it would need a trans pull and rebuild to remedy, but a $500 try is worth $2500 or more. The shifts are solid and secure. It takes some time getting used to, but way better than stock feel. I don't want to gaurantee that it will do the same for you, but for me it was worth a try and has been a success. I may need to pull my tranny at some point for clutch replace but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. At that point, I may have a rebuild as I'd like to get 200,000 miles plus out of my JKU. Good luck!
In this video that was very informative and professional, I learned more about what it takes to do the clutch and flywheel change out. It gave me a real feel how the mechanics preform the work. I would have to say it would be worth my money to have them work on my Jeep.
Well you've sold me on the shifter now haha! No idea when I'll ever be able to afford it though. The next big purchase for me will be a lift now that I've got the drivetrain all beefed up.
Saw that you added this on your instagram the other day and hoped a video would soon follow! For me it's 4th gear that pops out every now and then and saw this a while ago but couldn't find any good videos that had an installation and review. You captured the usage perfectly and this shifter is now on my list! I can't believe how crappy the stock shifter is, The shifter partially disconnected while I was driving about 4 months after I bought it brand new from the lot. Love your videos and thanks again for the good review!
Thank you for the great video! Got my shifter installed last week and it truly is a game changer. Felt very firm at first and has become smoother over the last week but still very precise. Not a handshaker anymore, the shifter is solid! This has made my '12 JKUR so much more fun to drive and I can't wait to get it on the trails.
Installed the shifter a few days ago, lever only, not the tower assembly. I did it mainly because of the dog leg in the B&M allowing me to use the front cupholder again. Mine had been popping out of 1st if I was not careful when I put it in gear, and I had intended to buy the shift tower in a few weeks. When I disassembled it, the stock boot was loose from the trans tunnel. I heard about an SB Mopar issued about the boot causing the tranny to pop out of gear. On a hunch, I deleted it when I reassembled. Holy cow, what a difference. The transmission feels totally different. Very little shaking in the shifter, gear changes are rock solid, and so far no more popping out of gear. The stock shift lever is a POS! I was concerned about noise radiating from the transmission without the boot, but it's not an issue. I have no fear of water ingress because the foam doughnut has that area sealed tight. As a bonus, due to the shorter lever, shift travels have been slightly reduced. If you're considering this mod, get the lever 1st, you might just save yourself $469.00. No way in hell I would install the shifter and reuse the stock lever!
That is so cool. The bad thing about Jeep is when you go off-roading or head any kind of bumps it'll jump right into neutral it seems like you solve the problem. Good job. I've been watching a lot of stuff about Jeeps I am actually getting one and a couple of days so I'm starting to see what people can do and so far the best Channel I found for Jeeps is your Channel so you just got yourself a new subscriber
Just changed the trans oil on my 16. 24k miles. The oil level was low. The transmission is quieter and shifts smoother. The magnetic drain plug was filled with metal. I'm no spring chicken when it comes to manuals. Really disappointed with the sloppy shifter and even more with the under filled trans. Change it out guys! It's easy and costs very little compared to the issues later.
Nice video! I have 08 wrangler bought it about 7 years ago its always randomly popped out of 1st gear. Now it does it every morning! Definitely going to do this upgrade.
The stock shift knob is pretty heavy. I swapped it out for a much lighter one made by martin shapes out of recycled surfboards and its a lot better than before. You feel the shift more and it doesnt slop around as much. I am sure this shifter is way better but if you dont have 400 bucks to throw at the problem...
I need to get one of these. I replaced the toy transfer case linkage that worked but only barely. I replaced it with an Advanced Adaptors upgrade unit. Now that I can reliably engage both 4H and 4L every time without feeling that I am breaking something it is time to get more precision out of the main stick. Some mods only get used once in a while but this one gets used every time you drive your Jeep. Thanks for this video, I don’t know how I missed seeing it sooner as I have followed your channel since about your second video.
autoedit just finished watching the video. I would be just as excited as you were. Definitely adding this to my want list. Didn't even know this was out there. Thanks for the video.
I enjoy watching your videos you’re installation upgrades are awesome and it shows how passionate you are about your Jeep and wheeling. You are helping tons of viewers with these kind of videos and can’t wait to see what you do next. Thanks for sharing.
Jason's not kidding, it flops around on a dirt road between 2-3 inches, let alone if your crawling over things. This upgrade is definitely on my list!! Also I have the same problem with 3rd gear, it has a mind of its own and pops out as it wiggles, the dealership just says, "that's odd, we couldn't get it to do it." They just know they can't fix it with their parts.
So I just bought a new to me 2015 JK 2 door with the six speed. I was SHOCKED at how much slop there was in the OEM shifter. This looks like a worthwhile upgrade for sure.
Nice!!! Reminds me of putting shifters in my fox mustangs back in the day!! Can’t beat that new feel!! Just subscribed and I’m looking for a Manual Jeep myself! Definitely will be doing this upgrade first!
I have no idea what transmission Jeep puts in a JK, but for YJ and TJ owners that have the AX15 with the same wobbly shifter can add a Hurst quick shifter that does the same thing for their transmission woes. I put one in my 88 Wrangler over a decade ago and it made a heck of a difference just like this install. Great entertaining video by the way!
Mine is on the brink of a new clutch. I'm going to replace it with a Centerforce dual force and the shifter all at once, it's going to be like a whole new driving experience.
After watching your video I did exactly the same. Drove for one year and replaced shift lever back to original :) I love the shifter itself, but prefer factory stick. It just feels more real and jeepy :)))
AutoEdits Since I already tried your setup and know how that feels, now you can try mine if you like :)) 1. B&M Manual Shifter (you should already have this) 2. Factory stickshift (it’s longer than B&M) 3. AJT shift knob (it’s bigger and havier. It will make shifting much smoother) All that should take your shifting experience to the next level Please lat me know what you think ;))
Jesus just the fact that you use multiple camera angles when filming and edit them all together...wow u always jave quality cintent...we appreciate your vids thanks dude what a fun guy!!!!!!
I’m not sure if you’ve experienced the same problem I have. Mine seems to be easy to miss 5th gear. Your thoughts on the 5th-6th gear transition as well. Just wondering if this would improve those transitions.
Bruce Bracy I seem to have this issue plenty of times. I always thought that I was distracted (not paying attention to what gear I’m in), but then again it’s never an issue on any other manual ride. So I end up putting back in fourth and easing it back into fifth. It feels like to me that the fifth gear should be more off to the right - hard to explain but it happens so often that I guess it is an issue. Glad to see I might not be alone.
@@biner626 That's why it is so stupid to put reverse all the way accross the shift pattern on the right. Reverse (a low speed gear) belongs beside the low speed gears. Top left guys! What's so hard about that? The guys that design these transmissions are NOT enthusiasts, and their daily drive is an automatic, so what do they know.
I have an automatic JKU, so didn’t need this upgrade, but really enjoyed how much you liked it. Shared it with my buddy whose Rubicon is a manual. Could be a great one for him. Thanks for the link to the pull to eject sticker too. Buying one now!
YOU DIDN'T MENTION TO LET THE LIQUID SEAL CURE... Using the shifter right away can displace the liquid and cause tiny breaks in the seal, which will potentially allow oil to leak out and worse, potentially and let dirt and or water into the gearing housing. Overall good video, another imperfection cleaned up. Good stuff.
So i don't think this project is even worth it.. :/ How am I to enjoy shifting if it goes to a more hardened, and cranking feel? Shifting should feel as smooth as butter.
Before I installed the sports shifter I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos. I can tell you, I have 100k miles on my jku and I should of installed it a long time ago. It's like having a new jeep. Waiting on the new stick. OEM stick sucks. I recommend this sport shifter. You'll be happy too.
I really like that kit. The thing that gets me about a supercharger is the fact you must run super unleaded gas forever more and that it is just really expensive! BUT it is what this thing needs to make it more drive-able around town and on the highway.
Hey Mate... Great video... you've almost convinced me I could do this myself... and that's saying something. What have you done to get that great sound? Just a muffler change?
HA! Thanks dude! This install is straight forward but just takes a little patience and determination... you can do. The exhaust on the Jeep is the Flowmaster American Thunder kit and I've been very happy with it.
I really enjoy this series of the Jeep and the changes you have made. Thank you for showing me what you do. Keep the great work. Greetings from Portugal
Awesome video hands down. I have a 2016 jk it pops out of fourth gear and shakes like a hula dancer gonna get this for sure. Happy wheeling to you and pinto
Awesome so glad to see this. I’ve heard issues with these on the Wrangler but because I haven’t seen any actual reviews I was waiting to see this. Mine pops out of third gear all the time. Have you checked to see how the quicker shifts translate to accelerating ? Thanks for the video. If you don’t mind if you do a follow up review on how you like it in a few months. Thanks man and keep up the awesome videos.
Great video man. Very educational and informative. I just bought an '05 TJ a bit ago and might just make this upgrade. Thanks for posting this and for your honesty!
5 year old post but did you ever do it? My 2005 is popping out of first and crunches from 1-2 gear. The rest are great. Curious if this upgrade will correct or just buy a remans.
I was wondering that too if any grinding gears - My JK Sport 2015 does it frequently in Fourth Gear! Pretty annoying - you really have to pay attention to get it in there if not GRRRRRRRR!!!
Peter Brophy having bad synchros will give you that problem. I had to replace mine under warranty to get rid of the grinding and popping out of gears. This kit seems to help patch the problem though.
I enjoy warching ypur videos, big fan. I installed mine a few months back and couldn't be happier with it, its worth the price. You should try and change the clutch system with a dual friction one.
So, just completed this upgrade on my 2005 Jeep TJ Rubicon. The "only" downside is I had to do some cutting on the rear portion of my console so I could get the shift into 2nd gear. I also had to cut part of my gearshift floor plan cover gasket. These modifications resulted in my leather shift boot not fitting properly and a bit more transmission noise coming up through the floor boards. The speed shift is tight but I'm told it will loosen up. I like the short shift range - it does make driving the jeep more fun. I'm going to have a friend help modify my shift boot with an extension so it fits properly and I'm going to use some non-flammable rubber sheets to help pad under the console to help with the noise. Took a bit longer than I had planned, but at least I didn't have to drop the gas tank.
I got a 4 door jku manual as well, and had all the vibrations that you've mentioned. After i got rid of the factory driveshafts and went with aftermarket coast front and rear driveshafts, all the vibrations went away. Im still running my factory shifter with no vibration issues. They're just better balanced.
What? I'm not talking about vibrations from the drive shafts. This Jeep has Tom Wood's top of the line driveshafts and they are perfection. The stock shifter is junk, I changed that and am much happier with the new one... that is all.
I know what you are talking about, but all i was trying to say is that in my situation the shift stick wobble went away while driving just by replacing my driveshafts. Vibrations due transfer from one component to another if something is out of balance and it my case it was the driveshafts that did the trick on my shifter wobble while in motion.
With my 2011 manual JK, I've driven 100,000 miles in 17months - city traffic, highway, off-roading and all. I like how smooth (and easy) the stock shifter is. I don't know if I could fight the shifter for 250miles per day (my average day driving). I love the fact that there's no wiggle to the B&M when it's in gear. I've never slipped out of gear with my stock shifter, but that's not to say it won't ever happen. When I shift, it's like butter...effortless...no shimmy, shake, or jerking of the transmission. Almost feels like driving an automatic if someone wasn't watching me shift. LOL! I don't know if I'm willing to spend nearly $500 for a shifter that requires more effort to shift for 250 miles per day. I can shift the stock with two fingers, zero effort. But the off-roading use of a B&M may be actually of great usage. I only use 1st and 2nd when off-roading. Hmmmmmm, thinking of maybe getting a 2nd Jeep and using a B&M versus using my work-Jeep for it. Amazing video! Watched the entire video. Perfect install and amazing detail to what you did to get the shifter in. I'm sure the dog was wanting to play the whole time. LOL!
That's a lot of miles to put on a Jeep. Glad your shifter works well. Mine jumped out of third regularly and that's not safe so something had to be done.
@@AutoEdits if it's jumping out of gear, could be slightly bent shift forks. That shifter is a beast tho! Looked it up and off-rosters swear by it. Yeah, I trust this 3.8 like no other. It's never let me down! 17months of 250 miles days and it always makes it back to my driveway! The funnest ride ever, on top of that. I'll give this engine 300k miles before I do my next mod (5.7 Hemi with a 400hp clutch and adapter to keep my NSG370). I would hate to lose my reliable transmission, as this thing goes forever thru this desert climate and always runs well.
Awesome video and thank you for sharing. Looks like a great upgrade. I also thank you for showing how to remove the foam, but think I will just order a new one when I take on the project.
Wow thank you for this video, You described a few of the issues I have with mine, The "if not fully in gear will pop out" Yeah mine will do that in first and third. If not fully in gear in first gear it sounds and feels like you just blew the trans out. imperfections in the road and mine is bouncing all over. and on a dirt road you don't dare shift, the dang thing will smack your hand if not ready for it. Yep I will be getting the B&M shifter soon.
Thanks for the video, i did the upgrade as well. Your videos are great. Wish you had shown the tips and tricks for painting under the console around the shifter hole! But not part of the install so i get it.
Man I’m tempted to get this shifter. I hate how much the stock one rattles so much.. gotta start putting some money aside for this I guess lol awesome video thank you!
I changed mine out to a B&M the first week I got it excellent shifter love it shifts like a sports car. Great video I wish I would have had it a few years ago when I bought my Jeep had to figure it out on my own basically but it was a brand new jeeps it was clean that was a plus.
I like this guy. Drives a manual jeep wrangler, entertaining to listen to slash watch, works on his vehicles, very informative, plays with his dog while he works, and believes in Bigfoot. Awesome
I kind of want to copy and paste this comment into my bio... seems like a cool guy when you phrase it like that... way cooler than actual ... LOL

Right on!
@@AutoEdits what was the mileage when you changed yours, and how it holding up?
Mine is doing the same thing did this shifter fix the issue of it popping out of first ?
The stock shift knob is pretty heavy. I swapped it out for a much lighter one made by martin shapes out of recycled surfboards and its a lot better than before. You feel the shift more and it doesnt slop around as much. I am sure this shifter is way better but if you dont have 400 bucks to throw at the problem...
Andy Giametta heavy shifters tend to help actually. Its just jeep managed to make the worst shifter ive ever used
@@AWThethrower Its a Mercedes transmission used in some of their heavier trucks
I need to get one of these. I replaced the toy transfer case linkage that worked but only barely. I replaced it with an Advanced Adaptors upgrade unit. Now that I can reliably engage both 4H and 4L every time without feeling that I am breaking something it is time to get more precision out of the main stick. Some mods only get used once in a while but this one gets used every time you drive your Jeep. Thanks for this video, I don’t know how I missed seeing it sooner as I have followed your channel since about your second video.
Well I'm glad you stuck around ... I've had problems with videos just staying hidden for a long time.
Oh man so glad to hear, I thought the 3'rd gear deal was just me.
Right! You are not alone... it was a bummer about the stock shifter but this thing rules!
autoedit just finished watching the video. I would be just as excited as you were. Definitely adding this to my want list. Didn't even know this was out there. Thanks for the video.
Me too, not alone - now for a fix on the transfer case shifter plastic clips
Advance Adapters make a complete cable replacement, very nice bit of kit.
I enjoy watching your videos you’re installation upgrades are awesome and it shows how passionate you are about your Jeep and wheeling. You are helping tons of viewers with these kind of videos and can’t wait to see what you do next. Thanks for sharing.
I wish you would of included a before clip of the stick floating around while driving before the swap, would have been nice to see the difference ...
Anthony Maske I could post up a video of one flopping around like a flag in the wind just going down the interstate.
I have been very happy with this upgrade!
Anyone else notice he was smart and painted the metal while he was in there?
What’d he use for paint?
And did he do anything to the transmission
Nice!!! Reminds me of putting shifters in my fox mustangs back in the day!! Can’t beat that new feel!! Just subscribed and I’m looking for a Manual Jeep myself! Definitely will be doing this upgrade first!
Awesome! Thank you!
Awesome upgrade I want to do this I hate that 6 speed shake ....shout out to Pinto love your helper 🐶💕 she's so cute
LOL! You're the best... thanks for watching and I'll give Pinto the dog scratches from ya!
Awesome Vid, This is definitely on my short list of upcoming mod's, unless I loose my mind and get JLUR
It really did make this thing so much more fun to drive... I make excuses to run errands in it now... oops time to go to Del Taco for a combo burrito!
I like how you think! Never even occurred to me but that is a great suggestion!
AutoEdits Since I already tried your setup and know how that feels, now you can try mine if you like :))
1. B&M Manual Shifter (you should already have this)
2. Factory stickshift (it’s longer than B&M)
3. AJT shift knob (it’s bigger and havier. It will make shifting much smoother)
All that should take your shifting experience to the next level
Please lat me know what you think ;))
this also fits on TJs from 05 & 06 with the NSG370 six speed manual trans
Jesus just the fact that you use multiple camera angles when filming and edit them all together...wow u always jave quality cintent...we appreciate your vids thanks dude what a fun guy!!!!!!
Hey, Thanks!!!
Such a good video! Ahh man, I miss driving a 6 speed wrangler SO much!
Thanks dude! Yeah, it's pretty fun and this little shifter makes a huge difference. I like seeing a bunch new videos over on your channel!
Ur dog is cool. He loves that broken ball. I bet he doesn't care for a new one. Awesome friend
Pinto is awesome, thanks so much!!!
Peter, the gating is strange for sure. They did have to leave a gate far right for Reverse. But, the transition isn’t good.
Good stuff.
Fantastic that’s how a shifter should be! Well done
I’m 40 seconds into watching this video and just subscribed 😂
HAHA! Thanks so much! Glad you get my sense of humor
It looks Nice and tight; mine is manual and like u said it feels like junk sometimes it kicks back first gear, best mod ive seen so far good job man
It really changed the whole interface between me and the Jeep... and I like it.
I was just curious, after installing the shifter just over two months ago, has it gotten easier/smoother to shift the gears?
I doubt it. Having a shorter throw will mean it will be harder to shift. You have less leverage.
I still agree!
I love that dog 🐕
Me too, she's special.
If ever your up in the Montreal area - we can doggy sit for you if you need some one on one time with your better half :)
I’ve watched every Jeep video, and I don’t own a Jeep lol but after all these I’m getting one soon , great inspiration haha
Glad to hear that... thanks for watching!!!
Thumbs up for Pinto!
Thanks for the Video!! Great watch ! I am on the hunt for this shifter up here in Canada!! should not be too hard after your video Great stuff!!
Thanks!
For every thumbs-up Pinto gets a scratchy
Love this!
Love the new editing Jason ! Ur awesome
Should do an edelbrock eforce supercharger next
I really like that kit. The thing that gets me about a supercharger is the fact you must run super unleaded gas forever more and that it is just really expensive! BUT it is what this thing needs to make it more drive-able around town and on the highway.
when my payments are over in 2 years I'm getting an Edelbrock charger. not having a car loan will make premium gas more affordable
You should do a video of how to drive a manual! I think you’d give the best explanation and detail on RUclips!
Interesting... I might do that!
Seems like you have to reach a bit more to grab it.
Another good video. My jeep is not even a standard but I enjoy your videos so much I watched it anyways.
Came for jeep vids hung about for the mustang subscribed for pinto 😂
LOVE THIS! Thanks!
I'll do follow up videos for sure. It's only a couple of days old and getting better all the time.
autoedit awesome man. Really want to get rid of that 1 foot of throw from 1st gear to 2nd gear lol
Awesome vid if I had a wrangler that would be the shifter I would get! Trying to talk my wife into a wrangler lol. What breed of dog is pinto?
Great video man. Very educational and informative. I just bought an '05 TJ a bit ago and might just make this upgrade. Thanks for posting this and for your honesty!
5 year old post but did you ever do it? My 2005 is popping out of first and crunches from 1-2 gear. The rest are great. Curious if this upgrade will correct or just buy a remans.
I am interested how this works for you after using it for a bit. My 08 JKUR pops out on washboard roads all the time. If this is the fix I am in!
This is the fix! I couldn't believe how much better it is now. No popping out of gear at all.
Any grinding of gears?
I was wondering that too if any grinding gears - My JK Sport 2015 does it frequently in Fourth Gear! Pretty annoying - you really have to pay attention to get it in there if not GRRRRRRRR!!!
BTW look on eBay for a replacement transfer case knob. Sickspeed has the ball style ones to match your new shifter knob
Thanks for the suggestion!
Drove a stick when I was looking. Scared me. Bought a auto.
I did the same. Shifted worse than my old 1984 s10
Glad I have an automatic transmission. One less thing to deal with while wheeling.
Ive wheeled both, and went back to a manual for serious offroading
+1 to manuals. One of the best features is the anti roll back on them. Came in handy quite a few times!
I would hate to lose my reliable transmission, as this thing goes forever thru this desert climate and always runs well.
any update on the B&M shifter after using it for 2 years ?
please make an update video for the shifter
Still like it very much.
Finally an upload I’ve been staring at my subscriptions waiting for a upload
Nice video bro... good to see a Jeep lover perfecting his ride...
Thanks so much!
Awesome video. I have a 2010 Wrangler Sport 6-Speed and getting it into reverse is a nightmare.
Sitting here with my automatic eating my popcorn 🍿 and enjoying this awesome video..
Love that!
My brother put one in his 2017. Great choice
Awesome video and thank you for sharing. Looks like a great upgrade. I also thank you for showing how to remove the foam, but think I will just order a new one when I take on the project.
Glad it was helpful and at least you know!
Sorry to hear you are having the same issues I did... this install takes a bit but is worth it!
Now you need the Atlas T-case swap and a Twin Stick for the T-case. great video!
OOOH, yes... I do need an Atlas... probably more WANT but yeah!
Thanks for the video, i did the upgrade as well. Your videos are great. Wish you had shown the tips and tricks for painting under the console around the shifter hole! But not part of the install so i get it.
Next time!
Man I’m tempted to get this shifter. I hate how much the stock one rattles so much.. gotta start putting some money aside for this I guess lol awesome video thank you!
It makes a difference for sure... took some getting used to but it's been on for years and I'm happy.
I changed mine out to a B&M the first week I got it excellent shifter love it shifts like a sports car. Great video I wish I would have had it a few years ago when I bought my Jeep had to figure it out on my own basically but it was a brand new jeeps it was clean that was a plus.
Great video! Wondering if you could maybe do a small update/review video? That would awesome! Thanks for all the great DIY's
