I explored beautiful homes within an area called Abokobi in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. This area is not too far from the Aburi mountains. The houses are very spacious and its all the homes are very affordable.

That area has definitely changed. An agent took me over there back in 2015 when I was looking for some land to buy and a bunch of land guards showed up soon as they saw my SUV saying that the land belongs to someone they know. So I just drove off and never went back there again. Now I see the whole place is coming into shape nicely.
What am I doing in america? I can go to Africa live in luxury and be my full authentic self away from the prejudice and depression of the west!! God bless Africa!!

That house is beautiful! My only dislikes are the bars on the windows and tiny guest bathroom . If it’s a gated community there should be good security or get a system .
EXACTLY!! Why put burglar proofs on the windows in a gated community? It defeats the very purpose of moving into such a community. Then again, this style of building has almost permeated into the v fabric of Ghanaian societal mindset. Hey! We never feel safer until we feel extra secure! What a blessed assurance!🤔

The place is beautiful and they are doing a great job at bringing quality to the area. I think this young lady needs to understand that to live well you have to pay for things. Not always get it for free or half price. You can't sustain a business giving free food to residents and half price on everything. That is a mindset that some of us really need to get away from

Nice house but i noticed that the sink in most of master bathrooms in the houses are small or if they are double sink they are small with not a lot of counter space.
Beautiful estate...they planned the layout very well. This video was really nice and I the drone shots over the estate. The views are so peaceful and pretty. Great video!!!!

The roads and pavements must be done first… I don’t know why that’s always neglected in Ghana…😩
This is the thing I don't get. They want those of us in the diaspora to buy property but they refuse to fix the roads and pavements outside of these developments. How is it classed as a 'gated community' when that isn't done as standard?! Did he say $200,000 for a 4-bed property when the 3-bed doesn't have en-suite bathrooms? I'm confused, how is that reasonably priced?
@@67DrWatson I have seen houses from 40k USD to the Millions. There's something out there and You can get mortgages but they are like 24 months or so through Republic bank in Trinidad and Barbados. Sadly I think it's a deal were you need your citizenship first then you can get mortgages for longer 20 to 25 year periods of time.
