I miss the in depth videos like the Portuguese Amethyst video.
Love seeing you make every pavilion and crown facets and showing off what each new step achieved.
Thanks for watching!!, I will make more videos like that in the future but not every video will be that way
What you do is just magic.. plain and simple.. just Irish magic.. So beautiful!

Never appreciated gemstones until I got my own tanzanite ring. Your videos really shed light (pun intended) on gem cutting and the labour involved in getting them to shine so nicely. Please continue making these videos, super educational and fun to watch!

This is fascinating. I like the longer videos when you talk through the challenges and differences between gem stones.
Would also be keen to know what the stones would be worth before and after being cut.
Noted!

Thank you so much
Great Job 👏
Absolutely beautiful workmanship! I especially liked the fire opal!
Question: what happens to the “stone” dust? Does it accumulate in the bottom of the tray? What do you do with all the dust?
That would make a very interesting video 😃
Good question! it ends up mixed with water and polishing compound as it has no value it is disposed of
😳😲😲 WOW!!! That was absolutely amazing 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. What a blessing your talent is to observe. Just beautiful 🥰. Thank you so very much ☺️👍🏻.

What do most of these larger carat gems get used for?
sometimes for jewellery and sometimes as collector peaces
Hi! Thanks for this videos. If you don't mind me asking: those rocks are not cheap, when you were learning the craft did you practice with glass or quartz?
yes rough gems can be very expensive I started with Quartz and quickly quickly moved on to garnet and topaz as you can find it a a reasonable price quartz is difficult to polish and can and frequently chip while cutting or polishing this can be very disheartening and leave you wondering wither it is you the machine or the rough as a new cutter it is not a pleasant place to be if I can be of any further help drop me a line
@@stuartgems7593 thanks for your answer!

Make a video of cutting phosphophyllite if possible,,
that is one very rare and difficult to cut gem
Show us cutting of a Pear shaped 💎 next time.
ok 💎💎💎
Both of them look awesome, but that fire opal is something I've never seen before! How much does it usually cost to get all the equipment needed to cut gems? Fantastic work!
A lot but depends on the type of machinery and manufacturer as price varies
check out fasatron and ultratce websites for price info
@@stuartgems7593 Thanks!
That zircon looks amazing! I'm curious about what you said about a poorly cut stone not maximizing the light whereas a well cut stone does. Is it possible to show us a poorly cut stone and then re-cut it to a better cut?
you wish is my command or may heres one i prepared earlier is more appropriate
take a ganders at this video ruclips.net/video/ce4lTMaZ-G4/видео.html
