Opals are one of my favorite crystals next to Quartzes! I don’t use them nearly enough but that’s about to change because I just ordered some raw pieces straight from Mount Shasta!

I was in Edinburgh, Scotland today and purchased a nice fire opal.
It's a day later. My Mexican fire opal has such a strong energy, it's only a tiny teardrop shaped thing but when I hold it in my left hand, its energy affects my whole innards like I'm buzzing or like a latent energy wakes up. I always have sacral issues and have trouble enjoying life, I'm always trying to control everything and predict and learn before I make a mistake I'm never in the moment. I "do" life rather than enjoy it. The energy feels like waves of warmth coursing through...it reminds me of amber but in a much more yang way. Amber is one of my faves and now this one looks to be up there

Fire opal helps me stand up for myself sometimes when its necessary! I acutually owned a piece of it for awhile, but i either misplaced, or it may have had some other place to be! I aint been able to find it since march of 2019! And I Want to know where i can get more of fire opal.

Adam, your insights really put my ears up. I recently bought a Mexican fire opal not knowing I was buying a piece of family history and tuning into its energy. My father was born in Sinaloa.
The opal is sitting next to a candle and surrounded by 6 to 8 oranges. I've been contemplating moving out of the area I currently live in and visiting Australia.
Coincidence? I think not.

Pe careful when cleansing your opal with fire, not just so you dont burn yourself, but because the silica that makes up opal will crack if heated to much, very quickly over the flame is usually okay,
