That the heavy, bulky, usually not working fully, Dyson would do the usual where it sucked up the carpet, but refused to pick up tiny little grains of dirt because of the confounding lip they have on the head. That would mean bending down every few feet to pick up the grains that just kept getting pushed forward on the floor. 3. That every few minutes I'd be stopping to clean the filter & empty the filthy, dusty container. On top of all of this you are fantastic for being HONEST about all of the products. Came here after my Dyson wouldn't work all because I didn't clean the brush every 5 minutes. I'm supposed to be getting chores done but that's impossible when I'm spending 90% of my time giving my vacuum a haircut
Every time I talk to someone about vacuums, they always think their Shart is the best vacuum on the market. Yet, if you're going to see a vacuum cleaner on the curb for bulk trash day, it will be a Shart 9 times out of 10.
@Chris Christian Agreed. It's a shame people don't take care of anything anymore. That's beginning to be reflected in our market with highly disposable vacuum being a social norm now. Same thing with cars, I see people replace their car every 2 years all the time, and they never maintain any of them. They change it out the minute they have to replace a consumable part like shocks and pads.
Still have my moms working Electrolux, she bought in the 80s, hard to find bags before being forced to support Amazon, but still works better then the new dyson
I think part of the reason shark stays so hyped is because it has such cheap options for sealed systems and hepa filtration. (Humble opinion of someone currently doing a deep dive because they need a vacuum)
I found this list to be fair based on my observations with this channel and other sources. I was somewhat expecting Rainbow to be knocked down much lower for their apparent reputation for being a multi-level marketing firm, although I am not so sure how true this is (either way, better alternatives to Rainbow exist for lower prices). I found it reasonable for Miele to lose some of their status as an industry leader in vacuums for trying to please every segment of the market when those segments do not fully understand that they would be better served with proven, refined models (e.g. cordless vacuums that cost more and do less than a canister/upright). I will admit that I got suckered into the CX1 bagless model when there was a sale. I did not find your channel yet, there was an urgent need for a replacement from I brand that I trusted for ~20 years, and all of the other sources I consulted did not mention the issue I would discover after careful observation. Miele used a hollow gasket around the debris bin which meant that it was not tightly sealed shut and would result in course dust leaking out onto the walls and surrounding interior where the filter cylinder rested. I managed to recoup some of the cost by selling it off to someone else and adopted a SEBO D4, which performs exactly as it should. The firm also upholds design and business principles that I think you share too: 1) Function over form. 2) Access to affordable and durable parts. 3) User serviceability for reduced downtime. There just aren't many firms across numerous industries that impart these in their wares. You are the like the Louis Rossmann of vacuum cleaners and we need more people like you, those who strip the veil of marketing to expose cynical firms and then point us to worthier patrons. Thank you for your service :)
Thank you for this! I recently took a deep dive into your channel and am excited to get my SEBO D4! I never heard of them before finding your channel, and am so impressed by their product and service.
I love, love, love the Sebo I've had for over twelve years and it still works like a pro. I get it serviced and cleaned every few years, it's never needed repairs, and if it ever needs replacing (doubtful), I will buy another Sebo.
LOL! me too! wasnt insulted at all by the comments... much! :o), I got it cos it was cheap and it brings the carpets up great, of course I would never dream of buying one new or letting those people in my house! Next will be a Miele or SEBO
I was amazed it was so low for how much it can do. Not really a a machine that specializes but it buys time between major cleanings like deep shampooing and restoring floors and what not. I’ll say this... for hardwood floors... it picks up EVERYTHING. Just... don’t buy brand new LOL

Miele is clearly the top of the top (the C3) .. I've owned Kirby, Oreck, Dyson and Bissle, Hoover and Eureka and nothing compares in build quality, and performance, as well as style.
Thank you for the review. I really appreciate that you mentioned in your videos the lead warning on Shark. It helped me realize I too am susceptible to commercials and I’ll go back to the real top brands. As much as I don’t get offended I feel you could have more followers if you would get your message across without insulting your listeners. Well as you said, you’ll probably never going to read my opinion, but I can’t help to at least try. Btw. Review on cordless vacuums would really help. All the best to all good people!
I have 2! Granted their both in my garage not being used because it's almost impossible to find a repair shop for quality vacuums anymore.... They are so heavy but the quality is unlike anything you find today... I think of them as two classic buicks that I love too much to part with 🤦♀️
Am I wrong for being good with Bissell carpet washing machines? That's all I ever used them for, but they work quite well. Saved my bacon in a house of 2 Siberian Huskies. I've been using Dyson for a few years and realized the error of my ways. Just ordered a Miele C3.
I am using the same Kirby Legend II I got in 1979. Works great. other than belts and bags, no maintenance. When I see any other brand last this long, I might buy it. When mine wears out.
@@PerformanceReviews yeah I hate my Kirby. My husband fell for marketing from the salesman. The Kirby roller is wood and that swells up in Hawaii humidity and I have to take a hammer to it to take it out and put it back in. But still doesn’t fit so when vacuuming it doesn’t fit right. Either it’s getting choked on the carpet or I raise it and than it isn’t sucking up much. And then I have a a shag area rug and definite can’t use the roller on that so I have sit there using the hose attachment. I was thinking of a Miele soft carpet vacuum
Dyson Ball Animal 3 came yesterday (which I bought before seeing this video). Didn't get to use it too much, but it seems to work very well, despite being made out of the cheapest plastic possible. I'll try a Sebo or a Miele next time around.
Thanks for this video and your other very thurough reviews. Based on some research and watching your reviews, we've decided to get a henry as our next vacuum, replacing a horrible shark. Thanks again for your hard work and effort!
Just getting into the vacuum game here game. I'm so glad I found you. I have a Panasonic that I purchased over 15 years ago. It still works strong but I was getting tired of pulling the canister around and was contemplating getting into the cordless, stick vac game. But after watching your video I might just keep what I have.😚😚😚
I have a $40.00 craigslist Kirby power wheels diamond? bought a $4.00 belt and now on my 3rd bag run through the machine and have loved it. Just bought a 2nd one for 2 bucks, probably good on vacs for the next 50 years! Will definitely keep my eye out for them s list brands to move up some day in the future. Thanks for all the vids and sharing your knowledge of vacuums!
I owned a Windsor Versamatic for over 20 years. This year I finally retired it and bought the Sebo S7. It’s not cheap but damn it’s one helluva vacuum.
I LOVE my Miele C3 Brilliant. I also love my Kirby Avalir II. The Miele is my daily driver and the Kirby is my once every 2 months, deep carpet cleaning machine. I just hate using it for anything else, which I why I bought my Miele.
I expected eureka to be on the D tier. They haven't made a good vacuum since 2004 and they're 2 good ones have been discontinued. Especially now they pretty much went extinct.
I have only my own experience with vacuums. I have owned a Miele now for years- two of them. They work well; however, what led me to get those was that I purchased an electrolux Oxygen something or other canister- orange and silver and it would shut off about every 10 min. I called for help and they told me that it was a thermostat issue. They refused to fix it under warranty because I bought it on sale and not full price! I could not believe it. I went back to the store (Sears) and they fixed it and it worked for about 2-3 months then did it again. Sears said it was wrong what they were doing but they also did not return vacuums after 60 days I was told. I would never by Electrolux anything.
Hey, great content! I just started looking for a vacuum today and came across Shark's UK website. And then found your video (thank god). Does your comment about replacement parts only apply to US based customers? I'm based in the UK and there are many replacement options on the website. What's the best canister vacuum you'd recommend in terms of filtration for allergy sufferers? Thanks :)
I can not keep quite about my Miele c1. Cat and Dog.I love how powerful it is and I live the extendable extension wand.Good Quality and would buy Miele again
I'm a Central vac owner... I have an Imperium (Vacumaid) motor. Once you own a good central, everything else makes you sad. I fix & resell vacs from estates. The older Rainbows, and Tristars certainly weren't anything to sneeze at. I agree that Lindhaus is good stuff. I have their nozzle for my CV, and found one of theirs used for my parents. Kirby, Rainbow and Tristar's retail prices are mental......but it is a good machine.
Unfortunately for me, my home could not be easily retrofitted for a central vac. I was all set to have a MD with hide-a-hose installed, but once they got a look inside my walls (generous sheetrock and overabundance of fireproof blocking), it was a no-go without ripping out large pieces of my walls (requiring $$$$ in repairs) and drilling through all the sheetrock. So I settled for a Miele C3.
I recently purchased a Miele C3 Complete Brilliance. I like the machine a lot. The only problem I am having is psychological. I am used to seeing dog hair and dirt in a canister after vacuuming. Gross, yes, but it makes me feel good. Miele is bagged so I don’t see all that dirt. It’s going to be an adjustment bc I do believe that I’ve been brainwashed to expect to see dirt in a clear canister. I do think it belongs completely in the “S” category. I don’t blame them for making a quick “stick” vacuum. Plenty of my friends do not have carpeting and do not need or want a big vacuum. For them, a quality stick vacuum makes more sense. If Miele didn’t make one, they’d be stuck with Dyson, Shark, or a cheap generic. The Miele stick is superior to the other brands out there as well.
One I recommend is Clarke/Nikfisk, they make good commercial upright single/dual motor & backpack vacuums for my school district, they also one of the brands awarded a seal of approval, Clarke’s current upright models, Clarke CarpetMaster has a storage compartment behind the hose for attachments & spare bags, triple filtration, 11 height adjustments, great handles, cord clips, easy brush roll remover, no tools maintenance/assembly, & also comes in 3 sides, 12 inch, 15 inch, & 18 inch, their back pack vacuums Clarke Comfortpak comes in 6 qt & 10 qt, both these types of vacuums are blue (single motor series partly gray) come with 50 ft yellow power cords
I had an Oreck for 20 years. Recently (a year ago) bought a shark canister piece of $;:! Have ordered a Sebo to replace that one. I’m so excited it made the top of the list! I did buy last years model to save a little money.
What a great video. Man, thank you so much for bringing up all these manufacturers to my attention. I owned Dyson DC14 animal in the past and was actually pleased with it for 7 years. Next time around I thought, why not, and got an Animal ball 2. What a windmill move on my end; but never again will I waste money on dyson. Got a Miele c3 excellence from a friend to try, would probably like a bit of a smoother roll over a thick area rug, but it just kills dyson. Our area rug almost instantly got better looking vs. struggling to move the dyson over it. We are leaning towards Sebo x7 as we’re used to the upright vacuum and have 2 big dogs. BTW, great job exposing that dyson fanboy😂. Thanks again man!
This video made me realize I know absolutely NOTHING about vacuums. I thought I knew what kind to buy and now I gotta start over. 😅 This would be easier if someone had some suggestions. Cause I need a new vacuum asap.
Man, it depends a little on what you want. My parents have had a Royal upright for so many years. I have no idea how many miles that thing has on it and it's just like it was new--though it could be disassembled and fixed up if there ever was a problem. Meanwhile I have been through many vacuums that have broken down and been thrown away. Innovation and convenience aren't everything. Always working, for years and year and years, should be a major consideration.
All those machines in the S&A tier are very repairable and have the longevity you speak of without being sold and discontinued like Royal was as a brand.
I own a Royal, myself. I have had it since 2005 and it works great. I did rebuild it once in 2016 and gave it a stronger motor. I wouldn't have done that, but I accidentally bent the armature when I was servicing it.
@@PerformanceReviews I worked as a janitor for nearly 30 years & I used many types of vacuum cleaners. The only thing I can say for sure is NEVER buy or use a bagless machine! They are crap!
My daughter told me she could use a new vacuum for Christmas gift. She currently has a bagless upright. Don't know what brand. I am trying to convince her how much better a bagged vacuum is. Don't know if I will be successful convincing her. After watching your informative video from 3 yrs ago, I think I will consider a Hoover from Walmart. Price point and decent quality hopefully. My one reservation would be that it's parent company is Chicommi. Hoover reminds me of my grade school days. If one of the boys in our circle starting seeing a new gal, we would always ask him if they did the Hoover Maneuver ?
I really like my Dyson. Always hated bulky vacuums and if you only have hardwood floors and swiffer and mop to clean, a Dyson is more than good enough. Doubles as a handheld dusbuster and the washable filters mean I never have to buy anything from them again. I wouldn't recommend for carpet though.
I found your video because my Dyson just gave up on me after 6 years. Thank you for making this research/journey funnier. I loved my Dyson at first but it’s was pretty obvious after 2-3 years that I will never buy one ever again. I will miss some small features for sure, but at the end of the day I want a clean house.
Damn, I just bought a shark az2002 after a couple hours of yotube videos and searches about good vacuums. Not sure how I never came across this or other videos talking how bad they apparently are. So far I've used it once and as I've only ever used Bissell and dirt devil in the past the shark was phenomenal on the single use so far. Hopefully the 400 I spent on it lasts at least a year or 2. That'll be fine enough for me.
I have a ProTeam Supercoach that my previous employer didn't need anymore, so they gave it to me. I use it at the family restaurant mainly but I also bring it home occasionally to use it there. It works really good on dog hair!
This video was spot on. Hilarious and informative. I really wish you had Nilfisk in the US. It's very much like Numatic, but made from aluminium. GM80 is one of their legendary models made for consumers & commercial use.
@@PerformanceReviews completely noob question, but what's the difference between a commercial and home vacuum cleaner? The only thing I've ever noticed is a longer power cord.
@@kenjifox4264 From what I’ve learned they are made more durable but most likely have a very different warranty, such as and a metal plate on the floor head versus plastic plate. However it’s not always the case. Often the warranty is much shorter such as two years versus five years.
This is FANTASTIC! after I watched it, I went back to other RUclipsrs and 90% just list Dyson, Bissell and Shark!! They are all just promoting the vacuums that have advertising money. THANKS YOU for being honest.
Well, Bissell manufactured Oreck cleaners until about 1998 as well as the Amway Cleartrak units. For some reason they failed to manufacture something decent for their own name and decided to contract other companies to produce their garbage.
I agree with the comments on Dyson. The older ones were pretty well made, we have a 10yr old DC32 and its been faultless. Had a brand new DC44, completely fell apart in 2 years and a brand new V10, which was completely replaced twice under warranty and broke shortly after the warranty ran out. So we sold the V10 and bought a Henry Cordless. He's better in every way.
I just ordered my first Shark Upright vacuum( LA502 Rotator Lift-Away) based on what I found on Consumer Reports. Consumer satisfaction is 5/5 and their reliability is also very good. The majority of the Shark Models tested received high scores so did I do wrong in not repairing my 12 year old Miele Salsa? I keep finding lots of positive reviews for Shark vacuums so I'm at a loss.
You'll be disappointed and probably return it. Anything in sharks lineup has roughly a quarter the power of the Miele in terms of air flow. Filtration is also not nearly as good. You'd really have to put a lot of wear on your Salsa for it to warrant replacement so soon. It's a well-known fact that consumer reports gets bought off.
0:31 as a Brit’ seeing the legend that is Pat Sharp (mullet - bottom left) turn up on a random tier list about vacuum cleaners really made me chuckle. He was a big part of the lives of us who grew up here in the 80s/90s and still gets on TV and Radio but unfortunately sans mullet.
Nilfisk-Advance makes some if the best vacuum motors globally. I have an Agility Bacuum I bought used in 2013 for under $300 us. Airflow is 144 cfm, runs quite at 1300 watts -still works great! I stripped off the harness and just pull it around. It's lightweight. New ones are like $900.
I had a Dyson DC07 for years that I LOVED and regrettably replaced it with a DC50. I just threw that POS in the trash after 10 years because it's basically unserviceable. Since that blessed release I however never thought I would enjoy vacuum ratings so much, thank you for making this tortuous chore enjoyable.
My regular daily vacuum is the Hoover OnePwr Cordless Bagged vacuum. For super long or detailed cleaning, I use a Miele Plus canister from the early 2000s.
I remember my aunt just moved into her new house and a Kirby sales man came to the door. Her friend had one and they did an hour long demonstration after which they said it cost $1200. After haggling she bought it for 800. Now that big heavy piece of crap sits in the corner and she uses a Shark. Haha and let me tell you she definitely is a W for B!
So, since you put Lindhaus and Sebo at a solid S tier, would you say that repairability and parts availability for both these brands are better than Miele? Looking for a good upright for my grandpa who has asthma and severe allergies.
I will never buy another SEBO! I bought one ten years ago and so far its failures have added up to ZERO. The only consumables I've needed have been bags and brush rollers which seem to wear out every five years or so, but they're relatively cheap and can be fitted without tools thanks to clever design. So why will I never buy another? Because I'm getting on a bit and my SEBO is almost certain to outlive me.
Our primary criteria for a vacuum is one where we aren't constantly pulling hair out of the roller. Has anyone besides Shark and Dyson addressed hair tangles?
Those are some of the worst systems regarding that. The key to preventing tangles is to have a powerful vacuum that sucks the hair off the roller like those mentioned in the video.
Very helpful video, I appreciate the time you spent to educate the reasons behind your choices. I am now getting into the vacuum world as I’ve started a new job at my local sweeper shop. I was very surprised to see Riccar all the way at C. Other than some models not having attachments, they are light weight & have great suction. A great warranty plan with lifetime belt on most selections. My opinion is they have a great value vacuum for all ages. This isn’t me disagreeing with you of course, just wondering what a vacuum expert like yourself would think about my opinion. Thanks !
The reason Riccar is at a C is they don't last very long and they tend to be high maintenance. For the same price you pay for a Riccar you can buy a much better vacuum so the value is not there. Since making this video they've gone even more downhill. Most of the products are at the same quality and stuff from Hoover/TTI these days.
Oh nice. At least in eastern europe Kärcher vacuums are now more often seen in consumer electronics stores side by side to more popular Electrolux, Dyson and alike.
My family is guilty for being a windmill brainer since they keep buying Shark vacuums to replace our other vacuums from before. We have owned Eureka, Dirt Devil, Kenmore, Bissell, and Oreck. Thanks to this video, I bought my first vacuum and I love it to death. A Miele Classic C1 Pure Suction is amazing since my place is all hard floors. Looks like I gotta buy a Sebo in the future to give my mom to replace her Shark. Lol
This is my first Video from this RUclipsr... My Conclusion so far. Insulting People thinking otherwise (F and WB) , No real explanation given for order of the brands when it is given the reason is only valid for some models.
If you want in-depth information about a brand take the hour to watch him repair one. There are plenty of repair videos on this channel where he takes vacuna apart and gives very specific reasons for liking or disliking them.
David Kafka , so this Video is the ranking about the repaiability of those Brands ? Sorry but there are a lot more criteria to a vacuum cleaner... And if it realy would be about reparability then the video also should include statistics how often those brands fail. In the mean Time I am a Dyson user who is not able to think for himself even though our Dyson is the first cordless Vacuum cleaner which can deal with our amount of dust without failing miserably.
Okay, so I'm gonna make a complaint comment/question here, even though it's really directed at most of the vacuum comparison videos I've watched today: while comparing these, did you even momentarily give any thought to ease of use? For example, I've seen a bunch of reviewers talking about how everyone should get a SEBO, but they weigh like 18+ pounds and - relative to many other modern vacuums - are huge, bulky, oddly-shaped, etc. That might be fine in certain situations, but if you have a very small house and/or are disabled/old/weak/small, it's gonna be a pain to deal with that every time (if you even physically can), especially if you just need to suck up some stuff real quick. I keep seeing people say stuff like that the only reason people want vacuums like the Miele TriFlex or Dyson V12 is "because everyone is becoming so lazy nowadays", but if you live in tight quarters, are on a tight schedule, or have physical limitations, then vacuums like those are a blessing (if you can afford them), despite their shortcomings. Now, I do think they need to put WAY more effort into making them more durable, user-repairable, and long-lasting overall, but just discarding them as useless trash is really, really small-minded.
Generally if you have a physical disability you want to look at a canister vacuum . This way you're not having to hold the motor and you're only dealing with one to two pounds in your hand. Stick vacuums have a place for quick pickups but they really don't even have half the power of most plug-in vacuums. Especially for talking about maneuverability stick vacuums really don't maneuver. Of course recommend you go into your local vacuum store and take a test drive no matter what you buy. Hope that's a little bit more insight for you. If you look at vacuum specific reviews I do you'll see see that I always discuss maneuverability in detail always.
I wanted a tank vacuum with a bag and most brands I saw had quit making them. I ended up with a Miele C3. It sucks, which is a good thing. It's the best vacuum I've ever had, and much better than that crappy Dyson I had.
I have an old thrift store picked Lindhaus that still runs like a top. Very pleasant sounding suction motor and amazing agitation. If it dies, I would get a Sebo Felix because there are no North Texas dealers for Lindhaus.
Hey buddy what one would you pick between a Bissell powerlifter lift off pet or a hoover of the same price ($100-$150) that's comparable for pets and has a sealed system like that Bissell. Any suggestions for a hoover at that price over the Bissell? Thanks!
Definitely a windmill brain if they buy dyson/shark @full price; however, if those two brands are 70%-off , which they sometimes are, then they might be worth buying, don’t you think? Sebo, lindhaus and miele uprights obviously are the best but I’ve never seen any of those go on sale, let alone clearance, which shark/dyson sometimes do. So it’d be interesting to see this list revised, taking into consideration the discounted prices.
You're right about being decent for the price if heavily discounted. I picked up a Dyson DC44 animal for $150 refurbished, appeared to be new, about ten years ago, still works. The downside of Dyson, is the planned obsolescence; every series seems to have accessories and batteries which though SHOULD work (batteries same setup/voltage) are intentionally made to NOT fit the next generation of vacuum. Basically, a rip off.
I've owned SO many brands of vacuums and they just keeping getting worse and worse quality. My last one is/was a Quantum x which just like my expensive Electrolux broke off at the place that swivels at the motorhead. Thanks for the video, I'm currently looking for something with metal parts that wont break off.

I think those people will weed themselves out over the coming decade.
Shart? 🤣👍
I mainly see hoover in garbage piles.
@@pyromonkee2510 it’s the Bagless Hoovers that are Garbage, the Bagged Windtunnels and Commercial quality vacuums is what Very Good about Hoover.
What have you finally decided to buy?
Agreed because theyre NOT impressive
The firm also upholds design and business principles that I think you share too:
1) Function over form.
Wow that's amazing to hear! Glad you like your new machine!
I love, love, love the Sebo I've had for over twelve years and it still works like a pro. I get it serviced and cleaned every few years, it's never needed repairs, and if it ever needs replacing (doubtful), I will buy another Sebo.
What model Sebo do you have?
Eventually the motor will die but definitely sebo last a long time
Windmill brain here with a Kirby and proud of it 😝
LOL! me too! wasnt insulted at all by the comments... much! :o),
I got it cos it was cheap and it brings the carpets up great, of course I would never dream of buying one new or letting those people in my house! Next will be a Miele or SEBO
@@jdekong3945 Kirby's are fine as long as you buy them used and dirt cheap.

Here we are gentleman, we have arrived. Welcome to youtube's rabbit hole of vaccum cleaning.
I bought a Kirby when I was stationed in Hawaii in 99. It still works like new 23 years later, and I expect at least 20 more years out of it.
Well that was a different Kirby company than we have now. But glad to hear you've gotten good service out of it!
I have 2! Granted their both in my garage not being used because it's almost impossible to find a repair shop for quality vacuums anymore.... They are so heavy but the quality is unlike anything you find today... I think of them as two classic buicks that I love too much to part with 🤦♀️
@@Katiekay. Parts are available and there are now sevice videos on youtube.
The Kirby legend 2 came out in 1987 and ran till 1992. Alongside the G3.
But after watching your video I might just keep what I have.😚😚😚
You had a vacuum for over fifteen years; how are you just getting into the game? Lol
We had a Panasonic before and now with have a Miele, the Miele is miles better. What a beast 💪😎
I never thought I'd find a vacuum comparison video so funny lol between the shade and vaccum devil
I owned a Windsor Versamatic for over 20 years. This year I finally retired it and bought the Sebo S7. It’s not cheap but damn it’s one helluva vacuum.
Ok so I was suckered into buying a shark apex but its still returnable. What vacuum would you recommend instead for around $300?
I LOVE my Miele C3 Brilliant. I also love my Kirby Avalir II. The Miele is my daily driver and the Kirby is my once every 2 months, deep carpet cleaning machine. I just hate using it for anything else, which I why I bought my Miele.
FYI the Miele out cleans the Kirby.
@@PerformanceReviewsbased on what? Your opinion?
I have used a ProTeam quiet pro backpack(commercial use) for 15 years and it has been fabulous. Original motor.
Thanks :)
Miele!
Perfect! I will be taking this list with me when shopping for my next vacuum cleaner.
So you'd recommend against buying the miele cx series at all(the boost and blizzard)?
Yes . No reason to pay more money to run a vacuum cleaner.
@@PerformanceReviews ok thx for the heads up, been looking for a good one to buy and miele is the only high end brand accessible to me so helps a lot.
This would be easier if someone had some suggestions. Cause I need a new vacuum asap.
This is a good place to start.

I had royal canister for 28 years!! Loved the vacuum:)

How is it?
I have a ProTeam Supercoach that my previous employer didn't need anymore, so they gave it to me. I use it at the family restaurant mainly but I also bring it home occasionally to use it there. It works really good on dog hair!
This video was spot on. Hilarious and informative. I really wish you had Nilfisk in the US. It's very much like Numatic, but made from aluminium. GM80 is one of their legendary models made for consumers & commercial use.

This guy is a legend, and I completely agree the fact that unrepairable products should belong on WB category or even worse
Thanks for watching!
thank you for this report! very informative and to the point
I’m sure Henry is.
Had the same experience with a v10… absolutely worse quality.
Repair and service the Miele. I did mine of 17 years and it runs like new.
Do yourself a favor, repair the Miele! Or if you want, I’ll buy it!

What do you think of Kärcher Vacuums?
0:31 as a Brit’ seeing the legend that is Pat Sharp (mullet - bottom left) turn up on a random tier list about vacuum cleaners really made me chuckle.
He was a big part of the lives of us who grew up here in the 80s/90s and still gets on TV and Radio but unfortunately sans mullet.
Nice one! What's the best lightweight cordless vacuum available right now?
Usually cordless vacuums are pretty heavy. If you're looking for lightweight you probably better off with a canister vacuum or a central vacuum.
Brother by the way, What about the retractable cord system quality? Does that breaks easily? I currently clean at least 3 houses a day 5 days a week!
This is the best vacuum company comparison on RUclips. This video changed my opinion completely. Thank you very much
Nilfisk-Advance makes some if the best vacuum motors globally.
Yes, my Hoover ONEPWR Hepa plus is my daily driver too.
May I please know if it's still work just fine or no
I remember my aunt just moved into her new house and a Kirby sales man came to the door. Her friend had one and they did an hour long demonstration after which they said it cost $1200. After haggling she bought it for 800. Now that big heavy piece of crap sits in the corner and she uses a Shark. Haha and let me tell you she definitely is a W for B!

What about Nilfisk ? Are they still ok ? What would you rank them?
That's a commercial vacuum. But definitely A tier!
@@PerformanceReviews so Sebo and Nilfisk both on par? If you had a choice?
The key to preventing tangles is to have a powerful vacuum that sucks the hair off the roller like those mentioned in the video.
ruclips.net/video/RTkUNwBo9Ao/видео.html he just did the video; a couple of the vacuums did great with sucking up hair with no tangles on the rollers.
What about Prolux? I've seen no reviews on their filtration/air particle count like I've seen you do to a Miele (I want due to that review you did).
I could not hear the name of the brand that you had mentioned at 18:04.
"share it with your favorite NPC or windmill brain-" this dude is ridiculous lol. thank you for your candidness.
What about Kärcher vacuums? Seen them being used mostly in professional settings and sometimes home use.
This is a list of home vacuums not commercial vacuums.
However most Karcher vacuum models are made by SEBO.
Oh nice. At least in eastern europe Kärcher vacuums are now more often seen in consumer electronics stores side by side to more popular Electrolux, Dyson and alike.
This information is really specific to the US market. As in Europe you get all sorts of great options we don't have.
Thoughts on the Lindhaus CH Pro? Was going to buy a Kirby until I seen your review.
Anything form Lindhaus is fantastic.
Just curious, where do you think? Windsor versamatic vacuums would fall on that list?
That product is literally made by SEBO
My family is guilty for being a windmill brainer since they keep buying Shark vacuums to replace our other vacuums from before. We have owned Eureka, Dirt Devil, Kenmore, Bissell, and Oreck. Thanks to this video, I bought my first vacuum and I love it to death. A Miele Classic C1 Pure Suction is amazing since my place is all hard floors. Looks like I gotta buy a Sebo in the future to give my mom to replace her Shark. Lol
Thoughts on which to buy:
LG CordZero A9
Samsung bespoke
Hoover OnePwr pet elite
Those are all decent for quick pickups. None of what you're designed to be your only vacuum.
being pressured by my vacuum repair store to buy a Titan, didn't see it on the list, have you rated it???
Don't buy a Chinese Titan. It's a relabel of the old Panasonics from the 1980s.
Great list and great review!
This is my first Video from this RUclipsr... My Conclusion so far. Insulting People thinking otherwise (F and WB) , No real explanation given for order of the brands when it is given the reason is only valid for some models.
I am sorry 😂 this is definitely the wrong video to introduce you to the channel as I stated in the introduction.
Do you have experience with Metrovacs? I own a couple and they seem to work very well, just very basic but built like tanks.
I’ve been seeing more and more Samsung vacuums, mainly their robots. Any thoughts?
Hard hitting vacuum journalism
I wanted a tank vacuum with a bag and most brands I saw had quit making them. I ended up with a Miele C3. It sucks, which is a good thing. It's the best vacuum I've ever had, and much better than that crappy Dyson I had.
I have an old thrift store picked Lindhaus that still runs like a top. Very pleasant sounding suction motor and amazing agitation. If it dies, I would get a Sebo Felix because there are no North Texas dealers for Lindhaus.
*Stares blankly at Shark in hall closet*
Hey buddy what one would you pick between a Bissell powerlifter lift off pet or a hoover of the same price ($100-$150) that's comparable for pets and has a sealed system like that Bissell. Any suggestions for a hoover at that price over the Bissell? Thanks!
The Hoover Tempo or SEBO Dart is what I'd be looking at if you are bawling on a budget.
@@PerformanceReviews Thanks!!
Lmfao normally I dislike reviews like this. Buuut I love a good tier list and you delivered the info with a hilarious point of view.
What was the brand of the last one you mentioned that goes into the A tier?
I've owned SO many brands of vacuums and they just keeping getting worse and worse quality. My last one is/was a Quantum x which just like my expensive Electrolux broke off at the place that swivels at the motorhead. Thanks for the video, I'm currently looking for something with metal parts that wont break off.
Lindhuas and SEBO should be at the top of your list then
