    I have the gen 5 and it is just really good ! You may look at a carpet and think its clean, but running the dyson over it and you can see the amount of dust and hair it collects in its see through bin. Also, the sideway laser light on the dyson shows dirt so much better than just a white LED headlight which other vacuums seem to have. I was so impressed with my gen 5 that I have become a dyson fanboy. Bought their hairstyler airwrap for my wife and she loves it. Bought the airfilter hot cool link and I love that.
    Get dyson for the technology and real cleaning, get the Miele if you generally have a clean house but want to flex your wealth to people. It's a brand name, that's all, nothing special with the Miele.

    I have hx1 for almost three years, it has been used regularly on max power, 20 minutes it last and it is more than enough for my usage. I have Miele c3 for proper full use weekly, but hx1 for quick use on stairs, car cleaning and in tight spaces. To be honest it is good enough for small apartment usage, filtration system on all stick vacuum are not the best. I have been using Miele vacuum for 20 plus years now had the old canister without the power brush which I upgraded to c3 due to lot of think carpet in new home,
    I have not noticed much dust coming out of hx1 model so far almost three years of usage. We have cat in house so hx1 is used quite a bit during week.
    Miele vacuum last very long time at same performance level. I can’t say that for any Dyson vaccum.

    I have both. Single cyclonic designs require much more frequent filter cleaning. After every use, practically. Although I’m not a fan of how flimsy the Dyson feels, I am impressed with how clean the exhaust filter stays. I’m also impressed with how well it cleans the carpet; for a stick that is.

    I like the Dyson but I hate it’s high pitch sound also that the “turbine” design Wich is gold or purple or differs on every model it’s just decorative if you pull it apart it’s nothing it’s just a design selling trick,so I don’ like been fulled (not to that extent at least )and at that price point ,I ve noticed that the spinning brush throws around small pieces.so all those are negatives Dyson but the Miele it has the can at a spot that makes cleaning under furniture difficult if not impossible.

      @VacMaster1991  3 месяца назад

      @@MusicClements78 good vacuums use cyclones to capture the majority of dust before it reaches the filter. That keeps it running well longer. The Miele has no separation system so the filter clogs too easily

    • @PurushNahiMahaPurush
      @PurushNahiMahaPurush 2 месяца назад

      Fine dust particles are not supposed to reach your filter. The filter is supposed to be the last line of defence. If you have too much dust on your filter, it means the cyclones and the meshed shrouds in the bin aren't working as they are supposed to. A choked up filter will significantly reduce suction and airflow.

    Maybe i'm mistaken but it seems you are using the carpet care tool of the miele to clean a hard floor. If i'm not mistaken, you need to change to a soft roller for a hard floor. Also, you didn't mentioned, miele has a different head for animal hairs.
