Man this review is spot on!!!! Impressive! Just got my nose on this and you are the most precise review IMO. This one is a love at first sniff for me, I just wish this opening could last longer!
Just got this yesterday and am really starting to like it. Not sure how well it performs yet, but it doesn't seem like it projects all that much. Really an amazing, modern and smokey scent, though. An awesome addition to my growing collection.
Great review Ash! I love this line, so I’m assuming I would like this one too. The Gentleman EDP is one of my cool weather faves. You say this one is iris with modern woods, so I’ll go out on a limb and say that since Boisee is the French word for “wooded”, it’s not just a clever name. I’ll be picking this one up from a discounter. Thanks Ash!

Tried today at Dubai duty free airport, it just surprised me how elegant, clean, Iris,
masculine it smells. Just keep in mind not everyone will like it. I find it very balanced. Personally, loved it. Surely getting a bottle soon. You ll need atleast 4-5 sprays for longevity.
Just smelled this today at Macy’s and wowwwww I’m a fan! It was sold out though 😆 had to get it online.
I really enjoy the dry down in this fragrance. The woodiness smells like walking through a Californian redwood forest for me. Have to pick up a bottle

I am open to testing this but I may be done with iris. Have 4 of the Dior Homme line and enjoy them a lot but I feel they cover iris fairly well across the spectrum
Great review. Hoping that chocolate was really going to pop, but I guess not. Still a very decent line from Givenchy.
I love this fragrance the iris is really masculine and refined. My favourite from this collection was givenchy only gentleman casual chic 🤗❤️

givenchy seems to be bringing out a lot of more reserved , elegent scents
Which is perfect in my opinion since they have the name as Gentleman, I think of fragrances like Givenchy. Givenchy has made quite a nice line up.

This was my first Iris scent I had no idea what the guy was telling me, that day I bought this, DHI, and Man In Black, now I have as many Iris frags as I can get lol. I'm starting a new job today and this is the SOTD.
I just got a tester of this bad boy for 30 bucks on fragnet 🙌.... I like it as well but don't love it either. This review is spot on. I agree 💯 about the amberwood/ambrox w/ little to no chocolate/cacao.
Thank you for another great video.I was waiting for your take on this fragrance. I will leave this one at the fragrance counter at Macy's. I was excited about it earlier this year when it was released. The reviews haven't been great for this fragrance. It's disappointing.
Are you kidding me? This stuff is amazing....When I got it at Dillards, I put some on and when I walked out the mall door, 2 girls walked right passed me and gave me compliments. You better double your dosage my friend...need to pick this up.
I used the first version EDP last winter, nice opening but when drys down it was very annoying to me.

Smelt this a month ago,whilst purchasing YSL L'homme L'intense edp,it's outstanding.
I already own Prada L'homme intense and D&G the one,this is a beautiful combination of both,my bottle comes in a week along with another bottle of The One edp.
Yes it's familiar, but it's not redundant.it smells fantastic.

Boisee is a masterclass 🤍
I think people confuse amboxan, amberwood, cashmerewood for a a couple different compounds. To me this is VERY heavy on the cashmeran.

I just bought boisee, and it's AMAZING. Way way better than the normal gentleman. The OG gentleman has way too much vanilla imo, this one though, absolute home run. Absolutely love it.
I'm curious. I tried it a while ago and it was sweet and woody with little iris. I just got a bottle delivered and it's sweet with lots of iris but no wood. It smells nice but how does yours come across to you?
@@colinnotyou0k78 The woods are there. You're smelling them; but they're mingled with the Iris, black pepper, and (according to their website) "burning woods." Spray it on your arm, let it dry down, and take deep, slow sniffs. You'll smell those woods

My wife didn't like the opening, but loved the dry down. So, she overall likes it.
Its crazy ,I blind bought this and didn't prefer it over the edp but the Ladies love this one better than the edp

I received it as an free tester, really like the smell however got some doubts over the performance
I do have it, the smell is amazing, the longevity is just not there though for a EDP around 3 hours.

This is what I thought Dior Homme Intense should have smelled like. It’s like D&G The One EDP but the dry down is more buttery with a dash of powder.
Ash, how is it in comparation with gentleman edp? I have this one and Love the iris note it has. Would you recomend the boiser over the EDP?
Men love the edp which is louder more vanilla, however Women love the soft spoken Boisee ,I based this on both versions and various ppl
I'm not sure why I don't enjoy boisee when I love Reserve Privee
Dior home 2020 got hate for losing the iris. This is a modern woody iris. Maybe this is what Dior Homme 2020 shouldve smelled like.
Hi, where does US residents buy Original perfumes. So much counterfeit going on and lots of affiliate links sites i dont know.
I'm not a big fan of obvious " clones " hence naturally hated GGO EDP, Valentino Uomo intense and Prada L'homme intense, but boy Boisee is on a totally different level and garnered me complements like nth before 🔥🔥🔥

Do people even know how Cacao smell like?. I grew up in a town where Cacao Farming is one of the main livelihoods of the people and let me tell you if you expect Cacao (As in the Plant) to smell sweet then you are wrong. It only smell sweet when turned into Chocolate.
Probably not, but also these fragrance advertisers use fancy words to try and make the perfume seem more special and sophisticated. Maybe they really were going for sweet chocolate when they said cacao.

I love the edt. Not many people talk about it but it smells great. Doesn't last long though. Lasts about 4-5 hours then becomes skin scent.
I have it and it's a very nice frag, lasts about 5 hours, it smells very elegant and not too aggressive

To my nose, GG boisee is a mix of prada lhomme and dolce & gabana the one smells.
I have this. And i like it. But i don't love it. I do wear it to work with regularity and i enjoy it on me. But to me its just mild.

Guess if you have Prada L’Homme and Dior Homme, this one becomes redundant. Unless your a collector like Ash ☺️

I have the 2018 gentleman eau de parfum and the bottle is 100% opaque ... how can i see what's remaining if the bottle is completely opaque? i tried to use a flashlight but its completely dark... hope somebody can help.

Got a 3.3 Oz of this off fragrancenet for $29. It’s a tester but came with a cap. I love when they have those dirt cheap deals on there, but you have to grab them quick or else they won’t last long. I saw an 8.4 Oz flacon of Aventus on there for like $360 and I was SO close to grabbing one. If I didn’t already have three bottles I probably would have. They were sold out within maybe 10-15 minutes.

How does this compare to Prada L'homme L'eau?
Me and the boisee smelling the new fragrance by Givenchy named boisee
To me it’s like a Prada l’homme in steroids. I liked it, but it prefer Prada.

I'm 3 hours in and its already a faint skin scent
Longevity less than 30 minutes. Performance around elbow length.
You got fake stuff then. This stuff lasts and projects like a beast
Next on my list of blind buys. This and Gucci Guilty EDP

Pleasant smell but unfortunately with atrocious longevity. No other Givenchy is this weak in that department.
I kinda agree but the women still smell it while Men prefer the strong 💪 projection of the edp version

That’s crazy because I can smell it on me for at least 12 hours and if I spray it on a jacket it will be on it for at least a week. Performance is a monster on this for me.

Blind buy for me (reputable discount retailer) - thoroughly disappointed. No longevity, no silliage, below average projection.
I can hardly smell it on me after the initial spray.
