Hi Tommy. I tried the whole
Lineup at the store before making a decisión, and I found Boisée to be the most balanced of them all. Then I watched a few reviews of it, including yours, before placing my order from a Canadian discounter.
Your comments are spot on! It’s a very refined, classy fragrance with not a whole lot of projection so you can go heavier on the trigger with confidence.
I wore it yesterday for first time, and i can honestly say, this is a compliments BEAST! Ladies absolutely love this. Out of my collection of 10, Boisee has gotten me , proportionately, the most amount of compliments. I bought this one to go on dates with my lady, and if that’s what you’re looking for , this is the quintessential date fragrance. Unbelievably good!

I have to agree with you. Givenchy fragrances are my favorite. The name has always been synonymous with Style, Elegance, Sophistication and Class.I feel sophisticated whenever I wear the 2018 Eau De Parfum release. I want to try this.
I too absolutely love Givenchy. Their men’s and women’s lines are all so elegant and somewhat versatile. It’s good for most weather scenarios. Definitely a signature scent.
"Bwa-ZAY!" 🙌 It's the proper spelling too. Unlike Cedrat Boise without the accent aigu which should be pronounced "Bwaz." Haha I never thought of that top hat though. To me, it always looked like a dude in a turtleneck or scarf. 😄 Really enjoyed your take on this one Tommy! Huge props on the work you're putting in to bring us daily content. 👍👍👍
My wife and I sniffed this one at Dillard's this weekend. She preferred this one over all the other Givenchy flankers by far! She didn't care for the EDP. I was surprised she liked Boisee so much.
Great review I own this fragrance the opening is stellar but the longevity is not as good but I just refresh as needed
I own it and I love it personally it’s pretty unique for a winter/date fragrance
Gentleman only intense is my favorite from this house. Such a nice leather scent.

SOTN/D...I really like the gentleman EDP good Iris note, that was a cool way you did the bottle clip
This fragrance is like a hybrid of some of my favorite fragrances. Powdery Iris indicative of the Prada Lhomme line, spicy like the Spicebomb line. The cacao reminds me of Angel by Mugler (a guilty pleasure of mine). Can't wait to get my hands on a full size.

The opening scent is absolutely amazing, but sadly it dies down quickly and it get not as impressive. I still like it a lot. Great review! Thank You!

I agree with you when I was in the perfume store the girl was working there recommended it for me after I was trying other ones she told me that she like it a lot so I took the perfume test paper with me I took 4 different perfume and I asked my wife which one she like and she choose this one she told me that the girl she was right I like this one more then others

Smells like body odor (but in a good way), ambroxan, licorice, and some berry scent I can’t place. Sort of reminds me of YSL Y Le Parfum minus the B.O. ambroxan spiciness

After 3 years, I think this one will be discontinued at some point. It is too unique and masculine for the average person at Ulta. I think it is extremely similar to Creed Royal Oud, it has that same trasparent cedar smell.
