Happy to see this video on here! I feel like Givenchy got the Iris right with this one. Not too soapy (Prada L'Homme) and not too over the top (Dior Homme Intense (pre-reform)/Valentino Uomo). Just...right. For me at least. Cologne is next on the list!

This has a sea salty note to me in it that isn’t listed but it’s so interesting. It’s like fresh and aquatic in a way, but so smooth and creamy. I find myself not reaching for this as much as I should. However, it’s so nice to spray it on from time to time.
Lovely fragrance and on my list for a while now. Actually wore cologne version today.

This lasts all night on me. The sweetness is perfect 👍🏼 has a chocolate vanilla type scent. I like it a lot as much as my Dior Homme Parfum

The only Givenchy Gentleman i have is the one behind you on your shelve!...The Cologne Version...Its really good...I do not wear it but i love the smell of it...Very Nice George!...I have been buying Aarons Fragrances because you get what you pay for with his stuff....
Great review, but your outro makes me need the loo 😆. Now I am having to return to the office I need a cold-weather fragrance that's not too overpowering projection wise so may try this beauty as love Iris. Shame about the longevity can always re-apply I guess. - Andrew

Haven't tried this but have tried the Reserve Prive and it was great so will give this a try.
I love how this finds a way to make iris not feminine, unlike a lot of other fragrances ive smelled which have an iris note. Great fragrance imo.
Also, i know no one cares, but i really like the bottle.

I need to get this on skin. Smelled it on a card and it didn't blow me a way. Then again I'm at that point in the hobby a couple years in where I feel like I have smelled the limits of what designer scents have to offer. However I can realize a designer banger when it hits me in the nose(Bleu Electrique hit me like this). They didn't even know what I was talking about at Macy's when I asked for this fragrance. In the card it came off powdery and slightly green. Nice subtle sweetness with a bit of burnt rubber.

Got this this morning, and trying to get my head around the iris as trying to find the difference between this and Valentino intense, looking at getting the Cologne next on black Friday or rip off Friday as I call it

It’s my favorite of the line, with the mix I almost I smell a mild cocoa scent. It’s great!

I think I prefer it over the normal Gentleman but I may still prefer Valentino Oumo Intense over both.
Also there's definitely not any competition when compared to Prada L'Homme Intense. That one I don't like ;D
I’m tired of sweet fragrances, everything I’ve tried lately has been sweet and annoying. Hopefully this trend ends but it probably won’t. Ima have to check this one out

Love this scent. The opening is amazing. Almost purchased it at full MSRP. Glad I didn’t. The performance will keep me from pulling the trigger at discounters also.

Since they've discontinued Prada L'homme intense, Givenchy Gentleman Boisee is definitely supplying my need for iris fragrances.

Perfume lasts longer if you spray it on clothes. I always do 1 spray on skin and 1 on jacket or jeans

There's no lavender in there, notes don't mention it either. Black pepper is pretty strong (in a good way)

I loved (and I mean absolutely loved) the smell of this scent when I bought it, but unfortunately the performance was absolutely brutal on me. It disappeared outright within an hour on my skin. This is the only scent out of 200+ that I've ever returned to a store.
It’s still there, it’s just that this fragrance is very easy to get nose blind to.

This one is a pass for me due to a funky opening and average performance (but great dry down though). EDP is still in the lead, a longevity superstar and pleasant from opening to far dry down, the modern iris benchmark IMO

The EDP smells of a dirty diaper mixed with black pepper. I'll try it again as my gf said she liked it but that was the impression I got 🤷. Don't mix iris and pepper.
What about Dior Homme Intense. I know the two are similar so they get compared a lot.
Boise smells different on skin and clothes . Can't judge it on a sheet of paper. One of the best colognes in the game imo

Yeah, not gonna buy that. I have the regular EDP which has got no problems with projection and lasting, so for me this is a bit unnecessary.
But the review is spot on :)
Had it on my skin and a tester strip, went around my college campus asking women if they liked it, most women said it was generic and boring. Too me it was a pass too! Good review tho!

Just got a bottle. I see they are changing the bottles - they are smaller, and slightly squarer, just like the Reserve Privee one. Great smell. Terrible performance.

I was really underwhelmed by Boisée. It does kind of smell unique but at the same time it doesn't at all. Kind of smells like a mall scent to me. Compared to DH & DHI this is 💩.
