- This is my 1 Year Review with the Tudor Black Bay 58 925 Silver showing its tarnishing. I've taken it hiking, camping, biking, running, swimming and diving proving that it's just an awesome all rounder beater watch. If you're considering the Tudor Black Bay 58 watches, check out my video to see my pros and cons of having this watch and what I learned after 1 Year of continuous wear and the tarnishing on the 925 Silver Case!
Thanks so much for watching!

You deserve WAY more views and subs. I love your camera work and the beautiful pieces you have. More long form videos like this please!
The stable metal used is aluminium. It’s listed on the back of the case where it says 925ag/al. Ag=silver and al=aluminium
I’ve had one for two years…I love it more now.
Nice Video Young Man.I just went and Bought Two Tudors today. And to my Surprise on the Video Content I purchased a Tudor Lhd Pelagos 42mm and a Black Bay 58 Silver 39 mm.
The Bb58 is My Dress Watch and the Pelagos is My Surf/Every Day wear Watch.
Cheers
The BB58 Taupe is so much more incredible in person. I own the stainless version (black dial) and love it and when my AD got a silver BB58 in I didn’t realize how amazing it is until seeing in person.
That’s how I felt when I got to see it in person. Instant love!
@@MinuteMon looks awesome on grey rubber too. Nice!
Same!! It didn’t do anything for me in photos, but when I had it on my wrist 6 weeks ago I almost bought it on a whim. Glad I didn’t, because I got the call for my datejust a week ago and picked it up on Wednesday and that would have put a dent in the piggy bank😅 still, i really kind of want one and the black and blue are no longer contestors. I’m now trying to decide between the 925, the 39 and the FXD.
The 925 just feels so fresh on the wrist and i would have loved it for the summer. I think it’s perfect!
Another great video brother 👏
I appreciate your review of the Tudor watch and it was really going to diving.
Love your work.
Great Review. The video of you diving was an awesome touch!
Thanks Tom! Glad you enjoyed it!
oh boi never expected that eraser to work that well xD maybe now I'm into getting this watch...
They are out there. I just picked up a sterling silver watch strap w the US 5th SFG logo on it from 1982... Going to one of my dudes as a gift thats about to retire.
The same reason I love my seiko diver. I live here in the Philippines and work in sales. I wear my diver for work then go straight to our lovely beaches during weekends. Hope you enjoyed your vacay here in PH!
I love that!
Glad that you love it..... But I would pop on a Pelagos if I really wanted to wear a Tudor to Dive!
I like the mesh bracelet with the sterling....
Can you share your tudor 925, how is silver tarnished rate now?
Where did you buy the strap??
Love this style video 👍👍
Thanks Dan!
This is my Grail , gunna treat myself on my birthday...hopefully
Cool video!
Love me some Surf Shark for my "dloads" and the silver BB58 has been treating me well. Can't wait to get the Pelagos 39!
Hahaha 🏄🏼♂️ 🦈
So the aluminum didn't help stop the tarnishing?
Absolutely love this watch! I’ve had mine for about 4 months and still can’t take my eyes off of it or take it off my wrist!
Problem with the bracelet ?
@@thegraciefighter102 no the leather bracelet is super soft and supple… very durable too!
@@eleV8ion got. It. I thought maybe the bracelet was broken as you couldn’t take it off
Wooo Philippines! Mabuhay! 😊
I love your videos and taste in watches! I think this BB is the best of the 58 lineup. That case color is so unique. Did you consider the Sinn U50 pro when it launched? It fits all of your requirements except the grey part and wears thinner too. Keep the great vids coming! 🙏
I haven’t, but I’ll definitely take a look! Thanks so much
What brand is the leather strap with the white stitching used in the video?
Most likely Delugs Grey Epsom strap
Were you in Lapu2x City?
whats the rubver strap?
Excellent review! Not my cup of tea but loved the review!
Looks like some PI diving!
Thanks for checking it out regardless!
I've just stumbled upon your channel and it is excellent! Just curious, why can't you wear this to work on the weekdays? Do you work in a cleanroom environment or something similar?
Oh basically because my store does not sell or carry Tudor watches so I typically don’t wear watches we don’t sell during business hours, so it’s become a weekend watch for me!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Hello..where did you buy the Vanguard rubber strap?
From Vanguard rubber strap company
This silver does not tarnish - look at my watch. I’ve being cleaning it with white eraser that does surprisingly good job of removing tarnish. But the watch does not tarnish;)
I have around 15 dive watches, and I'm afraid of the bloody deep-end at the swimming baths!😢
Pelagos 39 is a great watch. Unfortunately I feel like both the BB58 and Pelagos kind of fit the same type of watch, so it might be better to sell the BB58.
Yeah, they both are similar. I will have to make a decision about one of them into the future 🤔
4:09 OMG😮Please tell me the belt.
I honestly don’t understand why there aren’t more people talking about the bb925 tarnishing issue.
“The alloy is stable, the finish is final, and it won’t let you down in 1 million years” something along the lines of that I recall seeing in the Tudor new watch introduction clip for the 2021 watches and wonders- Shouldn’t this count as dishonest advertising or something?
Don’t get me wrong, I own and love my 925, especially with the tarnish, but this is my personal preference and I don’t believe this justifies Tudors claim…
I highly doubt things would be the same word, should the same have happened with another brand.
great vid! i have the same watch and recently swapped the strap to the artem sailcloth strap with grey stitching which matches really well. but missing a brown tone strap which really brings out the warm tones of the watch. thinking of getting quick release spring bars for easy switches but read on forums that they may damage the case, what’s your exp so far with QRSB on the 925?
Definitely use the quick release spring bars, it’ll save you headache when swapping out straps, especially from NATOs!
Get that Tudor AD and then Rolex AD ;)
Did you try a titanium bracelet on your Tudor? Marburger from Germany has nice ones in titanium.
Never tried! I would think the color of titanium & silver would clash too much for me, but I’ll take a look. Thanks for the rec!
@@MinuteMon I own one in brushed titanium from Marburger. To me it closely resembles sterling silver, plus it is light in weight. Worth a try.
@@waynehatton4136 Hey does the titanium ever damage the lugs on the watch? Since it is technically harder than steel?
@@hugochen2359 I don't know for certain. I don't own a silver watch.
@@hugochen2359 Look into Forstner watch bands. Their ladder style, like a Bonklip may look nice on it, or the Komfit, which I own, classic! I still may go for the silver Tudor like yours after the dust settles. Hard to spend so much in this inflated, contrived market. I only paid $300 for my Datejust in 1973, which I think looks nicer with the piepan dial than new ones with Rolex emblazoned around the diameter inside. To me it looks tacky.
Mine has tarnished quite a bit but I don’t mind at all. I definitely haven’t been swimming with it though, I know it’s a dive watch but I’m not comfortable swimming with it. Doesn’t feel as tough or tank like as some other divers
I am impressed, salt water will tarnish silver faster than fresh, so it looks pretty legit....
Yeah, absolutely plus chlorine pool water, sweat, and just wearing it as my beater watch for everything.
Beautiful watch my favourite 🙏
Wooooo
I love the excuse!!!! We all do it lol
Thanks for the fun videos
wait that looks like shangrila cebu.?
Indeed!
The silver sounds like way too much hassle. I'll stick with stainless steel.
Force yourself to not spend money by going diving? Because dive gear and diving is cheap right? xD
that's some next level self manipulation there ;D but I get it
Hahaha 🤣 whatever works right?!
@@MinuteMon pretty much 😅
do you still have it ? can you comment on it? i wanna get this
bro how to do have this much money to buy those watch
