I used them for repair of a Saab 9-5 module and they do great work, as advertised and get the module back quick - and they were very helpful. Note, our problem with the ABS ended up not being the module. The tone ring (or reluctor ring) was badly rusted and a tooth had actually fallen out - causing a abs type vibration only at very low speed when braking. Check this first!
It should be noted that the Power Distribution box has 3rd 10mm not that connects a metal support brace to the engine compartment. Also the power distribution box on my car had 2 zip tie fastener posts that connected to the Positive battery cable that needed to be snipped to allow it to be moved to allow access. Removing the battery & the battery tray definitely made removal alot easier.
A list of tools you will need (including battery & battery tray removal): Pair of gloves/nitrile gloves (you will get dirty) Small flat head screwdriver (for freeing the various electrical cable attachments) 10mm wrench with ratchet side (for battery tray & fastening nut) 13mm wrench with ratchet (for battery cables) Small pliers with a bent tip (for easy gentle movement of the ABS Module sliding clasp) Snips or small scissors (for cutting battery cable fasteners on Power distribution box if needed) Socket wrench with: 10mm socket (for battery tray & power distribution) 13mm deep socket (for battery tray fastener) 10-20" Socket wrench extension for batter tray fastener removal (You can do it with a small socket wrench with the deep socket but it is tight & takes time) Important: TORX 20 Screwdriver with a thin shaft of about 3-4" or socket wrench with a thin extension for a Torx 20 Socket **** Screwdriver works better as the bottom 4 screws require a long thin shaft to get in there
Can I still drive my saab to work (less than 5 miles a day) with the module unplugged? I don't have a second vehicle to commute but need my ABS/TCS module repaired in my 2003 SAAB 9-5

+Nathan Reber I would love to know more about this problem, do you have photos or more information? Thanks
Do you still fix those? What is the price?

which 95 is this Mk 1 or Mk 2. The usual procedure I have been told is to remove the battery to get to the module, not the fuse box?
A listing of the tools needed for removal would be great to add for viewers :)
Can you drive intown without module while it’s being repaired?
