Yes 👍 I agree. I am new to wall Pilate and she’s my first introduction to the practice. I wish it was more instructional- giving verbal instructions like distance from wall and feet placement and what muscles to engage. I feel myself slipping sometimes and I can’t figure out at times the which direction of her legs. But I must say that when I did figure out an exercise there was muscle burn 🔥 👍
Agree! I like this exercise, but after doing it quite a time, I found out I wasn't doing it right 😂 Well, I don't wear shoes at home so I bought mon-slip gripp socks from Amazon for this Wall Pilates to keep my walls clean.
I really like this! You are definitely tired (but relaxed!) when finished and it's a complete workout. I also love that it's peaceful; you can concentrate on your movements. No one is screaming at you like it's a Peloton commercial. Thanks!! 🙂
Just tried this and i have to say i love it. Its still really hard for me with my body injuries but im going to keep doing it every day. Thank you very much.
Only just discovered Wall Pilates. Love it! I can squeeze this workout in any time. The tummy to floor routine may take me a while to build up to though. I'll start gently then build up. Thank you. X
@@JennaCollinsFitness Well today, after your 10 minute workout, I felt as though I’d done 50 stomach crunches! But in a good way! I will repeat this session tomorrow. X
I felt fine this morning, determined to continue the workout. One thing I love about this is the countdown clock. It gives you a few seconds to grab your phone to prepare for the next exercise. Thank you!
Yes! Legs are burning! These are excellent workouts! I am so glad I stumbled upon you -- my new go to for abs and a different kind of toning! Thank you!
Hey! Heels are flat on wall. Botton generally raised in most exercises but that seems clear from this angle. I have uploaded more recent videos with a better angle, and a 7 day wall pilates program coming next Monday! Look out for it 😊 thanks a lot for your feed back and support.
I just found this last week and I am obsessed! It kicks my butt every time and I love it! It feels like it is working different angles of the muscle groups I normally like to work out, upright. I normally see changes after 2 weeks of starting any new workout so I am interested to see how my body changes with this workout!
Omg on day one i thought i was dying- i did the day one pilates two times and when i did this, it improves my mind strength- i was like "eh its so short i feel like im only doing it for 3 minutes..." and on the first day, it felt like an hour 😭
Hey! Yes, glutes especially. Often people get pain in their lower back performing wall Pilates and it all stems from having a weak lower back and glutes
To reduce fat in any area of your body you need to be in a calorie deficit. There is no other way to lose body fat. You also cannot spot target specifics areas of your body to lose fat. If you want to lose fat on your legs you will lose it over your entire body.
@@JennaCollinsFitness If that's the case, how come your video discusses fat burning abs? I was going to try it until I read your response, now I'm confused.
As I said, to lose fat you need to be in a calorie deficit. Reducing your calorie intake through eating less or increasing your physical activity can put you in a calorie deficit. A deficit means fat loss. So yes you will lose fat on your entire body, including your stomach and performing exercises like this not only helps burn fat but works your abdominal muscles to help them grow and in time become more visible. One workout is not going to get you abs, however consistently doing workouts like this along with good nutrition habits will get you results.
Hey! So glad you enjoyed the workout. Sorry there’s no instructions, i know It can be very helpful especially when it comes to mastering the correct technique. A large part of my audience prefers without instructions, and of course there’s a lot that would like it. I’ll for sure take this into consideration! Thanks for your feedback.
@@JennaCollinsFitness do you by chance have any directions? I just want to make sure I'm using the right technique, so I don't hurt myself. Also when to breath in and out?
Hey Marlene 😀, A workout alone will not make you lose weight long term. My descriptions always inform you that to lose weight you must combine consistently good nutrition habits and exercise to lose weight. There is no other way to lose weight than to be in a calorie deficit. So you must be burning more calories than you consume in a daily basis. My workouts will help you on your weight loss journey and this workout will burn fat however it’s up to you just how dedicated you are and disciplined in your diet and routine on a daily basis. That’s the key there’s no other way around it, no quick fix.
Which exercises in particular? If it’s exercises lying in your back with your glutes and lower back raised, this is most often due to a weakness in your core. It generally hurts your back because you’re using those muscles to compensate for the weak core. Over time if you stick with the workouts, and really try to engage your core muscles throughout the entire exercise you will build strength and feel less discomfort in your back. 😊
Glad to hear that! Sorry to hear about the herniated disc, i understand the injury, I suffer with one myself 😕. I have many other wall Pilates workouts that I have filmed on a much better angle 😀
This is NOT low impact. Try truthful titles for your vids please. I didn't like it, and I wasn't prepared. From my principle to finish all I start I tried but ended up just dissapointed.
Hi there. Please let me know what is not low impact about this workout? To be honest, it doesn’t get much more low impact than this. You’re lying down, your feet are on a wall, and all movements are slow and controlled. I think you’re confusing low impact with low intensity?
No talking but music and a ticking timer. Love it. Thank you xx
It would help to have a split screen to see from the side as well as head down to make sure our form is correct. Thank you for the video.
I will look at a slightly better angle that will help with this next time. I only have one camera at this stage 😄
