I’ve taken Berberine for 15years. Hispanic, with diabetic parents , I have changed my diet and taken supplements such at this one for years now. Moringa is also great.
I am thin but muscular, so this supplement helps me keep in shape and my blood sugars stable. I don’t want to end up diabetic like my parents. My Papi who is up in heaven now due to diabetes 😢.

When the mitochondria are uncoupled, they produce heat through thermogenesis without generating as much ATP. This increased heat production results in higher energy expenditure even when you are doing nothing, which, in turn increases your resting metabolic rate. This is why a lot of people who take berberine say they feel warmer in certain areas of their body when they are on it, its because your metabolism just got a boost and your cells are creating more heat. That wasted energy has to go somewhere so your body just ditches it by generating heat instead of storing it in the cell as fat.

The best explanation of Berberine benefits on the web.
No hype, just medically based explanation of it effect on the body.
Now we know he sells products that contain berberine but his clear explanation and broad losing of its benefits clearly come from medical knowledge not merely an advertising message
Love how he explains the drug companies products and the desire to connect you to them for life.

It lowered my blood sugar too much. Be mindful when taking and start with a smaller dose to see how your body will tolerate it. Berberine is a natural PDL-1 blocker. I kured, mispelled with a k to avoid google's keyword software, my Mom's colon cancer with natural PDL-1 blockers such as Camu Camu berry, curcumin, ginger, chaga mushrooms, Berberine, apigenin, quercetin, fisetin, Egcg, cayenne etc. Scientists copied these natural PDL-1 blockers and now big pharma has a monoclonal antibody PDL-1 blocker. You take an IV once every 3 weeks and 6 months later the cancer will be gone. Tests show it has a 100% kure rate. It's expensive as all get out, which is why we tried the natural PDL-1 blockers first, and fortunately they worked. She also took the fenbendazole dog wormer and started taking metformin, which starves the cancer of glutamine and glucose. My Mom decided against surgery, radiation and chemo, because we've never seen anyone kured with it.

As a 64 year old woman I go to the fitness club and workout 7 days a week. I practice yoga, I’ve been a certified yoga teacher for 18 years, I swim laps in the lap pool and I walk on the treadmill machine as soon as I get in the fitness club. I eat a high protein, some fat but not too much fat but low sugar diet and have gained 10 lbs since rejoining my fitness club and weigh a whopping 110 lbs 🎉 it’s all muscle mass right now which i appreciate because most people my age “64” have lost muscle mass not gaining it! Keeping your muscles strong and flexible, and practicing balancing is so important because falls are one of the biggest accidents in the elderly population. We loose bone density so I’ve been eating more calcium rich food like dairy yogurt.
The most important thing is to take care of your body and it will take care of you 😊

I changed to Berberine too. The Metformin made me feel tired, as if I had just got through running a marathon. I recently read where it can cause muscle atrophy or wasting. Some days if I eat low carb, I don't take anything. When I eat a high carb meal I take 500 mg Berberine and hour before eating. I sometimes take Amla instead of Berberine, and found that Bitter Melon also works. Vanadium and Chromium is another treatment that will keep sugar stable. Anyway, how is Berberine working for you? Whatever you're doing appears to be working, because you look great.

I have seen other YT docs recommending Berberine. They recommend 500mg to 2000mg per day just before meals or with meals. I take 500 with my first meal of the day which is usually lunch. It’s also anti inflammatory so it helps with aches and pains. Start with the smallest amount because it can cause constipation.

Some people (Dr. Stanfield) avoid it on resistance training days as it may blunt the anabolic response but it never bothered me when I was training. 500mg before meals maybe 15 minutes but some recommend 500 x 3 with meals due to halflife. As well as some of the benefit people have mentioned beside Gundry, it's also anti parasitic and slows the rate at which the liver releases glucose.

I heard about Berberine from severaal RUclips doctors. I always do independent research on other sites like John Hopkins, NIH, etc. All the information I read backs up the doctors I listen to on YT. So, I have been taking Berberine for about 3 months, 1500mg daily with food. I am doing this to see if I can lower my A1C and affect my insulin resistance. I have already noticed a slight decrease in my belly fat. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks (and having blood drawn) and am eager to see if the Berberine has any effect.

A health care professional once told me that the problem with weight issues is that you first get metabolically ill then you get fat. You don't get fat and then get ill, you get much more ill once you are obese. When you begin to take care of your metabolism you are allowing the machinery of your body to work as it was designed. Our standard American diet is like putting bad gas into your auto's tank and expecting it to run correctly. The right diet and assistance from the right supplements like Berberine can get you on the right track again. Become metabolical functional again and you will take care of your vanity issues of weight.

Nah, it's not a hormone. Berberine is a naturally occurring compound found in several plants, including barberry, goldenseal, goldthread, and Oregon grape. It's a bright yellow, bitter-tasting substance with a long history of use in traditional medicine for various health concerns.
Here's a quick breakdown of what you need to know about berberine:
      Potential benefits:
Blood sugar control: Studies suggest berberine may be as effective as some diabetes medications in regulating blood sugar levels and improving insulin sensitivity.
Cholesterol and triglyceride management: Evidence indicates berberine can help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, although the effect is generally modest.
Other potential benefits: Research suggests berberine may have benefits for various other conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), high blood pressure, and certain types of infections. However, more research is needed in these areas.
