Toro 60V MAX 22" battery-powered mower: sound comparison vs. 4-hp gasoline 4-stroke engine mower

I bought a battery-powered lawn mower this spring. I like no longer breathing exhaust while mowing, but the other benefit is how quiet this mower is. Not only is the noisy internal combustion engine gone, but the blade also spins slower. Before scrapping my 18-year-old gasoline-powered mower, I recorded some sound levels and put together this comparison.
I always wore earplugs with the old mower, but I no longer need to with the new one. I like it. :-)

A 10 dB difference means the electric mower is half the sound pressure.
