Yes and no. I think for the most part good barrels are all just as accurate, but if you want to barrel kit this is not a bad deal as most the kits are all about same price.
For 190, you can get a Freak XL kit with 8 different bore sizes. And there are a myriad of aftermarket fronts that you can choose from later. I’ve been running freak kits since they came out. I’ve been playing since 1996. I’ve tried a bunch of different barrel kits, but found the Freak system to be the best all around.
I have, my only issue is my stock barrel is more of a 1 piece now.... (after the first day i played with it wouldn't come back apart.....) @@PaintballRuinedMyLife

You forgot one of the key features. If you swab your barrel tip first, the sleeve doesn’t come out. Greenspan said he’s seeing people accidentally do this in a tournament and didn’t realize until it was too late. @killerchimpspaintball

Paintball Ruined My Life the screws the hold my solenoid together are bowled out so I’m unable to reset it and I replaced my bolt guide, and still it opens and releases all the air in the tank.
Man I hope they paid you well for this one because honestly I think their idea is stupid lol. Smart of them to leverage your platform though, you're great.

Hhhmmm...... Contradicting to me. You twist 'lock' the barrel back into a 'shroud' that then has a 'threaded' tip installed to the 'lock back'/'shroud' dangling around out in space. That ought to line up with less than .5* angularity from lock back shroud device to front threaded barrel tip with less than .0005" TIR????
this system looks bad not in good way it looks homemade ore made by leftover from a junkyard. i dont own a barrel kit but if i need one then freak XL is the one for me.
I love the channel but can we have a series where we try to Come up with a solution for this dying sport. This sport is expensive and has been dying for years doesn’t seem to be enough attention being drawn to it and you’re probably the only person that has influence

My local feild uses a custom gi ball. Its so small i had to buy a smaller freak insert to prevent rollouts on my pump....

Freak XL vs Acculock kit ? I’m at a standstill I want to get a new barrel kit just don’t know which one to get ?
Jason personally I prefer the acculock kit. It’s an amazing barrel kit. The insert won’t rotate or move around on you so it’s a lot more consistent.
Because the tip is almost always .03 to .05 larger bore than a back i wonder if even 5% of barrels really have neg effect

Use a big one, so you don't break paint. That might not be the official line, but that is what all the Dynasty guys do.

I use the deadlywind barrel with freak xls insert compatability. Love it i can put balls through tiny gaps when i need to.

There could be lots of reasons. I would replace the bolt and bolt guide, if that does not work look into how to reset your solenoid.
