Loki has a lot more features(customizes keycaps, case, theme the more you type), just gotta sign in on the top right. Devs are active with the community in their discord. Great video as always.
Thanks for the info! That would make a lot more sense bc I never even tried to sign in, but always felt like there was more.... I feel a little bad about that now, haha. I have used it here and there though simply bc of the plain aesthetic. Thanks for stopping by, and once more for the rec! :D
Thank you for showing me monkeytype a while back. Its helped me alot. I have a question though. Why does monkeytype only have a certain number of words?
Ayy, super glad it's been helpful! You can change the settings on monkeytype to limit words, time, etc. so that it doesn't have a finite number of words for each test.
I'm currently looking for webside that makes you type actual logical texts. monkeytype has that, but I am the the point where I have typed them all and now they're kinda boring to me. I tried switching to my native language which is polish but there are some philosophic quotes and I absolutely can't stand typing those for more than 3 minutes. I found one more webside that's in polish but those texts are all political and all, can't stand them either. I would love a webside that makes you type an actual book not some gibberish or random quotes. My brain doesn't like that whatsoever.
Any of these, really! Touch typing is super crucial since you're usually looking not at the screen you're typing on (i.e. someone's membership form). Anything is a great place to start!
Will doing typing practice help me memorize the keyboard? I’m a new keyboard gamer and I have to keep looking down to find the right key. Will these help?
Not one that I can specifically think of, aside from literally just punching in numbers to a calculator. Could be a good way to navigate around numbers and practice not looking.
You can use monkey type and select the code options maybe python, c++, JavaScript, pearl, c, hell even assembly and then you activate punctuation, numbers and increase timer to 60 seconds or more. I used to have the same problem you are facing currently but now I am pretty fast at typing stuff containing all these complex symbols
@@elliotlassey3118 Wow! Thank you so much! I didn't know this option existed. For anyone wondering where this option is: settings -> behavior -> language and choose the code
I prefer QWERTY simply because 99% of the time if I sit down in front of a computer, it'll be qwerty. Purely functional. I tried it once, but it's not worth it (for me, in my opinion) to learn a different layout.
@@markbacon78I used qwerty many years. It took me several months to learn dvorak and I have been using it 9 years, I forgot the qwerty. Now I'm trying qwerty again because I want to type in both layouts. Comparing both, I love dvorak, it's so much easier and comfortable. I hate qwerty, it's the worst layout, Coleman or workman are better than qwerty.
Ahaha I never actually thought about that, I can certainly see it being a problem. Cool to hear that monkeytype sorta fixes that! Thanks for dropping by the vid friends 🔥🔥

What website would you recommend to increase your ability to do basic data entry related jobs?

What keyboard do you use? I like the sound.
Will doing typing practice help me memorize the keyboard? I’m a new keyboard gamer and I have to keep looking down to find the right key. Will these help?
I would think so, yes. I don't have to look at the keyboard when I game, at least not for my left hand
What about dance mat typing by bbc
Haven't started the typing speed improvement journey YET but will take all those videos in consideration for later
Hello again! Love to hear it- YET is a key word for sure. I'm glad this lines up some resources for ya! :D

IS THERE A SITE THAT ALLOWS PRACTICE FOR NUMERACY TYPING PRACTICE
Not one that I can specifically think of, aside from literally just punching in numbers to a calculator. Could be a good way to navigate around numbers and practice not looking.
I'm wondering how fast you can type code. I'm trying to improve my code typing speed, but (){}[]-=+;:'"./?&^%* are slowing me down
I actually have a whole video on this! :D ruclips.net/video/WumzapbxgI8/видео.html

I want to improve my typing speed to become a transcriptionist. Pls suggest a website.
If only you had commented on a video... entirely about typing websites....!
Check the description :D Thanks for dropping by
Most typing websites use American spelling which is so annoying 🤣
There is a toggle in monkeytype that changes to British spelling
Ahaha I never actually thought about that, I can certainly see it being a problem. Cool to hear that monkeytype sorta fixes that! Thanks for dropping by the vid friends 🔥🔥
Hey again
If I can type 100 wpm I 'm happy
A good goal to shoot for, you got this! 🔥
HANDSOME
