Phil Tippett was hired by the dinosaurs to help them escape the second time around which is why he was "Dinosaur consultant". He did such a great job of supervising them in the first that they hired him in the second to facilitate their rampage.

    15:31 Fun fact.
It’s thought that T-Rex actually had cushioned pads in their feet along with the overall shape of their feet meant they walked at incredibly quietly. You would definitely hear them if they were running, but if they’re just walking along normally quiet as a mouse.
This means it’s actually more unrealistic that they could hear it stomping while waiting in the cars. 🦖

Heard a new one this week; in The Critical Drinkers review of 'Waterworld', he says that the makers of that movie were warned not to shoot a live set in Hawaii by Speilberg himself. After Hurricane Icini leveled his set and trapped members of the cast and crew. He was ignored, the set sank and Waterworld wound up costing over 100 million dollars to make.

In the new DnD movie, they pretty much recreated the scene from JP where the raptor knocks the girl out of the ceiling crawl space (and jumps to try to bite her legs just as she gets pulled back up) during the scene with the fat dragon. I jumped up and pretty much did the Leo DiCaprio meme of pointing at the screen 😂.

Not only is Barbasol real, those hidden storage cans are real! They even spray out foam if you press it! Of course, youll have to do some customizing to turn one into an embryo cryogenic storage container.....
On the topic of the T-rex animatronic: I used to work with one of the guys on the T-rex build team (he still gets $5k royalty checks from that job btw), it used 2 3000psi pumps, and actually worked better when it was wet. It couldnt move as fast, due to the extra mass therefore extra strain on the structure, but it moved more realistically because it gave it that mass to move against (that subtle pushing a mass and moving mass carrying over when changing direction or stopping motion) and smoothed out any jerky movements. The lawyer pick up bit used watchdogs on the rams in the mouth, these watchdogs were clamp rings that physically would not allow the mouth to close too far. However, the thrash scene was a bit too fast and did dislocate the stuntmans back. His spinal cord was bruised but okay, and while he was confined to a wheelchair for recovery, he did walk perfectly fine after he healed. But yeah.....the T-rex almost broke the dude in half from the left right thrashing movement....thats why the lawyers legs look like they hyperextend.....because they did....
Any twitching would have come from the 14" maquette they used to puppeteer the rig. Yes, the T-rex was technically a puppet and yes, it was twitchy sometimes. Move the maquette into a position and the T-rex would follow right along. It required 3 to 4 people to move it for some shots. The rig was so heavy they needed to pour a 10'x10'x10' cube of solid concrete wherever they set it up so it wouldnt topple over when moving or lunging. Speaking of lunging motions, the hydraulic ram used for the forward movement of the rig (any linear forward backward motion) was one of the largest, longest, high pressure, hydraulic pistons in existence at the time (also most expensive). And was reused in one of the triceratops in JP2.

What if in JP, the rumbling the kids heard when the TRex escaped wasn't from it's footsteps at all... what if it's footsteps were actually silent, and they were just hearing a different kind of TRex roar?
Scientists now theorize that TRex had very good infrasonic hearing (lower pitched than what humans can hear), possibly for communication with other Rex's because TRex's vocalizations may have been infrasonic as well. Depending on how long the call duration would've been, it may have sounded like the rumble in JP, or like the Jaws theme, or like some horror movie soundtracks with low ominous rumbles, again just depending on whether it was a quick call/roar or long and drawn out.
You see a similar way of vocalization in crocs and gators, a higher pitched hiss/roar as a warning, but a very very low rumble for communication with other crocs and gators.

Also, after reading the Harry Potter books, I found that the grandfatherly character of that series, Albus Dumbledore does his own fake "I give a crap about my people and the hero, but secretly, I'm an evil man whose going to send the Boy-Who-Lived off to die at the hands of the man who I failed at seeing the red flags of psychopathy when he was a boy." And, guess what? There was only a few people who ever called him out on his BS! Snape, for one, says that Dumbledore was sending Harry out as a "lamb to the slaughter," without any real training in fighting. A single duel in Lockhart's failed Dueling Club, and going on a scavenger hunt to find Horcruxes aren't going to prepare you for a battle to the death against a wizard whose in his seventies and filled with experience.
The other person that called Dumbledore out on his bull was...Lily Potter! Yeah, in a letter that was found in the books was written by Lily that said she didn't trust Dumbledore.

If people are honest they’d admit Jurassic Park is a totally empty headed creature feature with effects the BBC’s flagship programme ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ knocked up on the cheap only 5 years later and just if not better 🥱🦖🦕🦖🦕🦖

Walking with dinosaurs looks like ass vs jp by far. It is a creature film not a documentary. Walking with dinosaurs had volunteer paleontologist helping make sure things were accurate to the day atleast. Jp was meant to be horror and the dinos aren't actual dinos they're modified heavily to survive and complete missing dna. Not to mention walking with dinosaurs used an 80 million dollar budget and jp 1 had 63 million. So... you're just wrong all around.
