    You seem like a really chill dude. My dad was an old-school Harley guy. One of his favorite bikes was his 1952 (53 maybe?) Panhead with the suicide clutch. You Harley guys are a different breed. Thanks for taking time to share your rides with us and stay safe out there.

    there's a bracket that comes with the vacuum (or bags, I forget which) and it mounts inside the rubbish container so the bag stays down and in place and the motor/ filter can pull up and off without disrupting the bag. The bracket is about 2.5x3.5 inches and black plastic. You'll notice the bottom rubbish container is not symmetrical on the inside, there's a thing in the top left (or bottom right depending on the way you're looking down into it) and that's where the bracket mounts to hold the bag. It's very useful, but I had no idea what that bracket was for for the longest time. I also use my filter and bag like you had in the video and my hepa filter stays so clean its crazy.

      Huh, I didn't see the bracket when I looked again but I'll look one more time in what I do have left. Push come to shove I'll reach out to Milwaukee, thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Stay tuned!

    Good video. I like how you walked us through a real-world scenario. If you're invested in the M18 system as well, then just get the M18 vacuum because it just has more performance all-around.

      Thanks for watching. Yeah, I kind of agree with you. I’m in the M12 and M18 systems so battery wise I’d be good either way. I have been happy with the M12 so I’m waiting on a good sale for the M18 vacuum….we’ll see. Stay tuned!

    Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I want one of these units to clean out my new 'used' vehicle in. Also I work in a warehouse with a small team, and the amount of traffic coming in and out dust, wood, debris, you name it- likes to accumulate, and quickly. After a few days dust will settle again on my desk. It is small and compact enough that I can keep it in the trunk; the portability, convenience and compatibility with the m12 batteries is what will likely sell me on this. I'm tired of buying cheaper vacuums and want a 'buy once cry once' one, especially if I can maintain it.

      I agree 100%, just rip the scab off!! I do really like this unit and would definitely recommend it to others. The only problem I'm having right now is I prefer to use the bags so the debris doesn't get to my filter, but the bag doesn't stay on its post. I'm told there is a bracket but I certainly don't have one.....Thanks for watching, commenting and stay tuned!

    the hose is crap my milwaukee hose is falling apart but the unit is good looks like they want you to keep buying hose replacements.

      Man, that sucks. I haven't had that same experience. I'm curious, what part of the hose is breaking on you? I know Harbor Freight sells a hose that will fit, but I don't think it will fit under the cover of the vacuum. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

    At the time of commenting the M18 (not-fuel variant) can be had for less than $150 with the battery hack. Or keep/use them (although they're just the 5Ah or a 5/2Ah). Again, at time of posting it's a free tool with purchase at HD. Regardless Ive read countless comments of people sharing how they purchased this model literally as gifts for their significant other and for the price its not bad at all.
    That said, imho - wait out a bit for the packout fuel one when it goes on sale/promo; it's the one I've got & It's genuinely surpassed expectations and even situations I didn't think I'd "need something like this", but time proved me a fool - and it sucks! (in the best way lol). Can't recommend it enough, I love it (automotive/beach trips/countless snacks..., electrical, and in prepping/maintenance paint surfaces, etc).

      I'm going to look into the M18 since I'm getting to your comment fairly quickly. Thanks for the feedback and for watching. Stay tuned.
      One of the things that really bugs me about the M12 fuel is that the filter bag doesn't stay on its mounting point. If I could figure that out I would be okay for the most part but either way on a good deal looking to upgrade. Thanks again!

    There’s a plastic adapter that holds the cardboard part of the bag in place.

    Love my M12 Vac for those small jobs in the shop and house. There is a plastic mount for the Bag that I noticed you didn't have. Don't remember if it came with the Vacuum or the Bags.

      @@meeknuggets4860 thanks for watching and commenting. I’m fairly positive that the bag fits both the M18 and M12. I saw something somewhere that mentioned it. @@GeoRides114 from what I understand you can’t wall mount the m18 and it’s not as portable. I think they also have similar power, so that makes m12 better for what I was wanting, portable quick and easy garage/shop tasks. I have the big shop vacs for drywall or big projects

    Waste of money....M18 is just better overall.

    • @GeoRides114
      @GeoRides114  5 месяцев назад +9

      I would say waste of money is a little strong but I can certainly understand (depending on the users needs) why the M18 would be the better choice. For me, part of the reason I went with the M12 is I don't have a M18 pack larger then the high output 6.0 and understand the M18 Fuel version works best/longest with a 8.0 or higher. Also, it's double the cost of what I paid. I appreciate the feedback and you watching. Stay tuned for more!!
