when initially learning I unbound my brake and boost so I didn't use them. This really helped as I would naturally go to brake and use boost constantly. Obviously I only did this in freeplay to practice not in actual games.

If you're looking to get GC in 1s or 2s, this is a great video and something you should work on. It works in 3s, but not as well since there are more defenders to get past!

I believe you’re ready when you’re ready. You’ll just get to a point where it’s “easy” for you (not easy per se, just comfortable in a way). It really varies per player in my opinion

I’ve been practicing dribbling for a while now and I’m pretty consistent with catch and carry, but my flicks seem to be lacking. It looks like I have the ball pretty well under control, but when I do my first jump, the ball is popping up too high to hit with my second jump. Is there just a timing issue here or is there more to this?
If you want to pop it using double jump, try only using gas, the key there is slowing the ball down to be able to hit jump twice, to then air dribble if that's what ur referring to..
Make sure the ball is completely dead on top of your car (not bouncing) and slightly in front of dead centre, Long press the jump button so your car and ball move up as one then flick, fastest flicks occur when both your car and ball are still accelerating in unison.
Definitely gotta hold your jump longer. Sounds like you're short hopping, which creates a lot more distance between your car and the ball. I personally tap my powerslide/air roll button as I jump in order to help keep my car stuck even tighter to the ball as well.
Honestly fuck the wall dribbling, I saw it in both this and your old dribbling video and have spent the best part of an hour sat here trying to get it over the goal like you said in your old one, got frustrated because the ball never behaved coming off the wall and just went back to dribble practice and was like 5x better than I was The results don’t lie but god damn did it piss me off 😂

I started using the stick for driving and I’ve been running into the problem whenever I try to turn it I push to far to the right or left and it completely stop me I know ima prolly just have to get use to it but is there any tips to kinda help with that or do you kinda have to just learn to power slide with it?

The ball already has forward momentum from being on his car, then the flick gives it height. Sideflip flicks like that mainly give the ball more height rather than speed.
@@thosko98 Yeah, but thats not really what i wanted to know. Like, does the ball have to be positioned diagonally to perform the flick? like a 45degree flick angle? I can do the flicking but the ball goes sideways instead of forwards. I don't know why 🤔
@@Official_Solok for a sideflip flick to work you have to position the ball slightly off to the side on top of your car. If the ball is to the right you must sideflip to the left.
U cant dribble unless u use some magnet hack … normally the ball comes and bounces off .. if anyone ever played this game knows this is not possible what he shows .. i can aeriel musty etc thats hitting the car but here? Like a magnet? Lame af

and also practicing basics is always good yeah. Practicing powerslide cuts is also good for non carry dribbles

The thing that helped me the most was practicing this on the switch and moving over to pc since joycons aren't analog made it so much harder.

Same, I started trying to use the stick but I could never turn completely. I eventually just gave up and reverted back to default drive.
